      <verse number='1'>Then <strongs number="347">Job</strongs><strongs number="6030">answered</strongs>and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1571">Even</strongs><strongs number="3117">today</strongs><em> is </em>my <strongs number="7879">complaint</strongs><strongs number="4805">bitter</strongs>: my <strongs number="3027">stroke</strongs>is <strongs number="3513">heavier</strongs><strongs number="5921">than</strongs>my <strongs number="585">groaning</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>Oh <strongs number="4310 5414">that</strongs>I <strongs number="3045">knew</strongs>where I might <strongs number="4672">find</strongs>him! <em> that </em>I might <strongs number="935">come</strongs><em> even </em><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>his <strongs number="8499">seat</strongs>! </verse>
      <verse number='4'>I would <strongs number="6186">order</strongs><em> my </em><strongs number="4941">cause</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him, and <strongs number="4390">fill</strongs>my <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>with <strongs number="8433">arguments</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>I would <strongs number="3045">know</strongs>the <strongs number="4405">words</strongs><em> which </em>he would <strongs number="6030">answer</strongs>me, and <strongs number="995">understand</strongs><strongs number="4100">what</strongs>he would <strongs number="559">say</strongs>unto me. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Will he <strongs number="7378">plead</strongs><strongs number="5978">against</strongs>me with <em> his </em><strongs number="7230">great</strongs><strongs number="3581">power</strongs>? <strongs number="3808">No</strongs>; <strongs number="389">but</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs>would <strongs number="7760">put</strongs><em> strength </em>in me. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="8033">There</strongs>the <strongs number="3477">righteous</strongs>might <strongs number="3198">dispute</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him; so should I be <strongs number="6403">delivered</strongs><strongs number="5331">forever</strongs>from my <strongs number="4480 8199">judge</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="2005">Behold</strongs>, I <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="6924">forward</strongs>, but he <em> is </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs><em> there </em>; and <strongs number="268">backward</strongs>, but I <strongs number="3808">cannot</strongs><strongs number="995">perceive</strongs>him: </verse>
      <verse number='9'>On the left <strongs number="8040">hand</strongs>, where he doth <strongs number="6213">work</strongs>, but I <strongs number="3808">cannot</strongs><strongs number="2372">behold</strongs><em> him </em>: he <strongs number="5848">hideth</strongs>himself on the right <strongs number="3225">hand</strongs>, that I <strongs number="3808">cannot</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs><em> him </em>: </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="3588">But</strongs>he <strongs number="3045">knoweth</strongs>the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>that I <strongs number="5978">take</strongs>: <em> when </em>he hath <strongs number="974">tried</strongs>me, I shall come <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>as <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>My <strongs number="7272">foot</strongs>hath <strongs number="270">held</strongs>his <strongs number="838">steps</strongs>, his <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>have I <strongs number="8104">kept</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5186">declined</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="3808">Neither</strongs>have I gone <strongs number="4185">back</strongs>from the <strongs number="4687">commandment</strongs>of his <strongs number="8193">lips</strongs>; I have <strongs number="6845">esteemed</strongs>the <strongs number="561">words</strongs>of his <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>more than my <strongs number="4480 2706">necessary</strongs><em> food </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>But <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> is </em>in <strongs number="259">one</strongs><em> mind </em>, and <strongs number="4310">who</strongs>can <strongs number="7725">turn</strongs>him? and <em> what </em>his <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs><strongs number="183">desireth</strongs>, even <em> that </em>he <strongs number="6213">doeth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>he <strongs number="7999">performeth</strongs><em> the </em><em> thing </em><em> that </em><em> is </em><strongs number="2706">appointed</strongs>for me: and <strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="2007">such</strongs><em> things </em><em> are </em><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="5921 3651">Therefore</strongs>am I <strongs number="926">troubled</strongs>at his <strongs number="4480 6440">presence</strongs>: when I <strongs number="995">consider</strongs>, I am <strongs number="6342">afraid</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>For <strongs number="410">God</strongs>maketh my heart <strongs number="7401 3820">soft</strongs>and the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs><strongs number="926">troubleth</strongs>me: </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="3588">Because</strongs>I was <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>cut <strongs number="6789">off</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="2822">darkness</strongs>, <em> neither </em>hath he <strongs number="3680">covered</strongs>the <strongs number="652">darkness</strongs>from my <strongs number="4480 6440">face</strongs>. </verse>
