      <verse number='1'>Then <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2088">This</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>of the burnt <strongs number="5930">offering</strongs>for <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="559">commanded</strongs>to gather <strongs number="3664">together</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1616">strangers</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; and he <strongs number="5975">set</strongs><strongs number="2672">masons</strongs>to <strongs number="2672">hew</strongs><strongs number="1496">wrought</strongs><strongs number="68">stones</strongs>to <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs><strongs number="1270">iron</strongs>in <strongs number="7230">abundance</strongs>for the <strongs number="4548">nails</strongs>for the <strongs number="1817">doors</strongs>of the <strongs number="8179">gates</strongs>, and for the <strongs number="4226">joinings</strongs>; and <strongs number="5178">brass</strongs>in <strongs number="7230">abundance</strongs><strongs number="369">without</strongs><strongs number="4948">weight</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Also <strongs number="730">cedar</strongs><strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>in <strongs number="369 4557">abundance</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="6722">Zidonians</strongs>and they of <strongs number="6876">Tyre</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs><strongs number="7230">much</strongs><strongs number="730">cedar</strongs><strongs number="6086">wood</strongs>to <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>my <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="5288">young</strongs>and <strongs number="7390">tender</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><em> that </em><em> is </em>to be <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>for the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> must </em><em> be </em><strongs number="4605">exceeding</strongs><strongs number="1431">magnifical</strongs>, of <strongs number="8034">fame</strongs>and of <strongs number="8597">glory</strongs>throughout <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="776">countries</strongs>: I will <em> therefore </em><strongs number="4994">now</strongs>make <strongs number="3559">preparation</strongs>for it. So <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs><strongs number="7230">abundantly</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>his <strongs number="4194">death</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Then he <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>for <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, and <strongs number="6680">charged</strongs>him to <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>a <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>for the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>to <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>, My <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, as for <strongs number="589">me</strongs>, it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">in</strongs>my <strongs number="3824">mind</strongs>to <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>a <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>unto the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>my <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='8'>But the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Thou hast <strongs number="8210">shed</strongs><strongs number="1818">blood</strongs><strongs number="7230">abundantly</strongs>, and hast <strongs number="6213">made</strongs><strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="4421">wars</strongs>: thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1129">build</strongs>a <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>unto my <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="8210">shed</strongs><strongs number="7227">much</strongs><strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>upon the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>in my <strongs number="6440">sight</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3205">born</strongs>to thee, <strongs number="1931">who</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="4496">rest</strongs>; and I will give him <strongs number="5117">rest</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>round <strongs number="4480 5439">about</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>, and I will <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>and <strongs number="8253">quietness</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>in his <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="1931">He</strongs>shall <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>a <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>for my <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>; and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>my <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, and <strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> will </em><em> be </em>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>; and I will <strongs number="3559">establish</strongs>the <strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>of his <strongs number="4438">kingdom</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>, my <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee; and <strongs number="6743">prosper</strongs>thou, and <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>he hath <strongs number="1696">said</strongs><strongs number="5921">of</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="389">Only</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5414">give</strongs>thee <strongs number="7922">wisdom</strongs>and <strongs number="998">understanding</strongs>, and give thee <strongs number="6680">charge</strongs><strongs number="5921">concerning</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, that thou mayest <strongs number="8104">keep</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8451">law</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="227">Then</strongs>shalt thou <strongs number="6743">prosper</strongs>, <strongs number="518">if</strongs>thou takest <strongs number="8104">heed</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">fulfill</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="2706">statutes</strongs>and <strongs number="4941">judgments</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="6680">charged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>with <strongs number="5921">concerning</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: be <strongs number="2388">strong</strongs>, and of good <strongs number="553">courage</strongs>; <strongs number="3372">dread</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>, <strongs number="408">nor</strongs>be <strongs number="2865">dismayed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Now, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, in my <strongs number="6040">trouble</strongs>I have <strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs>for the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="3603">talents</strongs>of <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, and a <strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="3603">talents</strongs>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>; and of <strongs number="5178">brass</strongs>and <strongs number="1270">iron</strongs><strongs number="369">without</strongs><strongs number="4948">weight</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>it <strongs number="1961">is</strongs>in <strongs number="7230">abundance</strongs>: <strongs number="6086">timber</strongs>also and <strongs number="68">stone</strongs>have I <strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs>; and thou mayest <strongs number="3254">add</strongs><strongs number="5921">thereto</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>Moreover <em> there </em><em> are </em><strongs number="6213 4399">workmen</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee in <strongs number="7230">abundance</strongs>, <strongs number="2672">hewers</strongs>and <strongs number="2796">workers</strongs>of <strongs number="68">stone</strongs>and <strongs number="6086">timber</strongs>, and all <strongs number="3605">manner</strongs>of cunning <strongs number="2450">men</strongs>for every <strongs number="3605">manner</strongs>of <strongs number="4399">work</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Of the <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and the <strongs number="5178">brass</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1270">iron</strongs>, <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="4557">number</strongs>. <strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs><em> therefore </em>, and be <strongs number="6213">doing</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>also <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>to <strongs number="5826">help</strongs><strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, <em> saying </em>, </verse>
      <verse number='18'><em> Is </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>you? and hath he <em> not </em>given you <strongs number="5117">rest</strongs>on every <strongs number="4480 5439">side</strongs>? <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he hath <strongs number="5414">given</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>into mine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>; and the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>is <strongs number="3533">subdued</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="6440">before</strongs>his <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs><strongs number="5414">set</strongs>your <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>and your <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>to <strongs number="1875">seek</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>; <strongs number="6965">arise</strongs>therefore, and <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>ye <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4720">sanctuary</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>, to <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><strongs number="3627">vessels</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>that is to be <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>to the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
