      <verse number='9'><strongs number="389">Nevertheless</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>of the high <strongs number="1116">places</strongs>came not <strongs number="5927 3808">up</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>they did <strongs number="398">eat</strongs>of the unleavened <strongs number="4682">bread</strongs><strongs number="8432">among</strongs>their <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And he <strongs number="2930">defiled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="8612">Topheth</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> is </em>in the <strongs number="1516">valley</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="2011">Hinnom</strongs>, that <strongs number="1115">no</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>might make <strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>or his <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>to pass <strongs number="5674">through</strongs>the <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>to <strongs number="4432">Molech</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='12'>And the <strongs number="4196">altars</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>the <strongs number="1406">top</strongs>of the upper <strongs number="5944">chamber</strongs>of <strongs number="271">Ahaz</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>had <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4196">altars</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>had <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>in the <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="2691">courts</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, did the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>beat <strongs number="5422">down</strongs>, and broke <em> them </em><strongs number="7323">down</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>, and <strongs number="7993">cast</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6083">dust</strongs>of them <strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="5158">brook</strongs><strongs number="6939">Kidron</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And the high <strongs number="1116">places</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="5921 6440">before</strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> were </em>on the right <strongs number="4480 3225">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs>of <strongs number="4889">corruption</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>had <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>for <strongs number="6253">Ashtoreth</strongs>the <strongs number="8251">abomination</strongs>of the <strongs number="6722">Zidonians</strongs>, and for <strongs number="3645">Chemosh</strongs>the <strongs number="8251">abomination</strongs>of the <strongs number="4124">Moabites</strongs>, and for <strongs number="4445">Milcom</strongs>the <strongs number="8441">abomination</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="5983">Ammon</strongs>, did the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="2930">defile</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And he broke in <strongs number="7665">pieces</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4676">images</strongs>, and cut <strongs number="3772">down</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="842">groves</strongs>, and <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="4725">places</strongs>with the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>of <strongs number="120">men</strongs>. </verse>

So they let his bones <strongs number="4422 6106">alone</strongs>, <strongs number="854">with</strongs>the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>of the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 8111">Samaria</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='27'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I will <strongs number="5493">remove</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>out <strongs number="4480 5921">of</strongs>my <strongs number="6440">sight</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>I have <strongs number="5493">removed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and will cast <strongs number="3988">off</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have <strongs number="977">chosen</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, My <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='28'>Now the <strongs number="3499">rest</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697">acts</strongs>of <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>, <em> are </em><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3789">written</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697 3117">chronicles</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='29'>In his <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>Pharaoh <strongs number="6549">Necho</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="804">Assyria</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs>the <strongs number="5104">river</strongs><strongs number="6578">Euphrates</strongs>: and <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="7122">against</strongs>him; and he <strongs number="4191">slew</strongs>him at <strongs number="4023">Megiddo</strongs>, when he had <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='30'>And his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs><strongs number="7392">carried</strongs>him in a chariot <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 4023">Megiddo</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">brought</strongs>him to <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>him in his own <strongs number="6900">sepulcher</strongs>. And the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3059">Jehoahaz</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>, and <strongs number="4886">anointed</strongs>him, and made him <strongs number="4427 *853">king</strongs>in his father's <strongs number="8478 1">stead</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='31'><strongs number="3059">Jehoahaz</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs>and <strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs>when he began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>; and he <strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="2320">months</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. And his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>'s <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="2537">Hamutal</strongs>, the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 3841">Libnah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='32'>And he <strongs number="6213">did</strongs><em> that </em><em> which </em><em> was </em><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>had <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='33'>And Pharaoh <strongs number="6549">Necho</strongs>put him in <strongs number="631">bands</strongs>at <strongs number="7247">Riblah</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="2574">Hamath</strongs>, that he might not <strongs number="4480 4427">reign</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>; and <strongs number="5414 5921">put</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>to a <strongs number="6066">tribute</strongs>of a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="3603">talents</strongs>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and a <strongs number="3603">talent</strongs>of <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='34'>And Pharaoh <strongs number="6549">Necho</strongs><strongs number="4427">made</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="471">Eliakim</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs><strongs number="4427">king</strongs>in the <strongs number="8478">room</strongs>of <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, and <strongs number="5437">turned</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>to <strongs number="3079">Jehoiakim</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="3059">Jehoahaz</strongs>away: and he <strongs number="935">came</strongs>to <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and <strongs number="4191">died</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='35'>And <strongs number="3079">Jehoiakim</strongs><strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>the <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>and the <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>to <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>; <strongs number="389">but</strongs>he <strongs number="6186">taxed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>to <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs><strongs number="5921">according</strongs>to the <strongs number="6310">commandment</strongs>of <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>: he <strongs number="5065">exacted</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>and the <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>of <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, of every <strongs number="376">one</strongs>according to his <strongs number="6187">taxation</strongs>, to <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><em> it </em>unto Pharaoh <strongs number="6549">Necho</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='36'><strongs number="3079">Jehoiakim</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs>and <strongs number="2568">five</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs>when he began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>; and he <strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs><strongs number="259 6240">eleven</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. And his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>'s <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="2080">Zebudah</strongs>, the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="6305">Pedaiah</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="7316">Rumah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='37'>And he <strongs number="6213">did</strongs><em> that </em><em> which </em><em> was </em><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>had <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>. </verse>
