      <verse number='1'>And <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>the <strongs number="8664">Tishbite</strongs>, <em> who </em><em> was </em>of the <strongs number="4480 8453">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="1568">Gilead</strongs>, <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>, <em> As </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>, <strongs number="6440">before</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>I <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs>, there shall <strongs number="518">not</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="2919">dew</strongs>nor <strongs number="4306">rain</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs><strongs number="6310">according</strongs>to my <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1980">Get</strongs>thee <strongs number="4480 2088">hence</strongs>, and <strongs number="6437">turn</strongs>thee <strongs number="6924">eastward</strongs>, and hide <strongs number="5641">thyself</strongs>by the <strongs number="5158">brook</strongs><strongs number="3747">Cherith</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="5921 6440">before</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>, <em> that </em>thou shalt <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 5158">brook</strongs>; and I have <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>the <strongs number="6158">ravens</strongs>to <strongs number="3557">feed</strongs>thee <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>So he <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>according unto the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: for he <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and <strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>by the <strongs number="5158">brook</strongs><strongs number="3747">Cherith</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="5921 6440">before</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And the <strongs number="6158">ravens</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs>him <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>and <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>in the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs>, and <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>and <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>in the <strongs number="6153">evening</strongs>; and he <strongs number="8354">drank</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="5158">brook</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs><strongs number="4480 7093">after</strongs>a <strongs number="3117">while</strongs>, that the <strongs number="5158">brook</strongs>dried <strongs number="3001">up</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>there had <strongs number="1961">been</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="1653">rain</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">get</strongs>thee to <strongs number="6886">Zarephath</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> belongeth </em>to <strongs number="6721">Zidon</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>: <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I have <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>a <strongs number="490">widow</strongs><strongs number="802">woman</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>to <strongs number="3557">sustain</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>So he <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="6886">Zarephath</strongs>. And when he <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="6607">gate</strongs>of the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="490">widow</strongs><strongs number="802">woman</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="7197">gathering</strongs>of <strongs number="6086">sticks</strongs>: and he <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>her, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">Fetch</strongs>me, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, a <strongs number="4592">little</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>in a <strongs number="3627">vessel</strongs>, that I may <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And as she was <strongs number="1980">going</strongs>to <strongs number="3947">fetch</strongs><em> it </em>, he <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>her, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">Bring</strongs>me, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, a <strongs number="6595">morsel</strongs>of <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>in thine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And she <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> As </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>, I <strongs number="3426">have</strongs><strongs number="518">not</strongs>a <strongs number="4580">cake</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>a <strongs number="4393 3709">handful</strongs>of <strongs number="7058">meal</strongs>in a <strongs number="3537">barrel</strongs>, and a <strongs number="4592">little</strongs><strongs number="8081">oil</strongs>in a <strongs number="6835">cruse</strongs>: and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I <em> am </em><strongs number="7197">gathering</strongs><strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="6086">sticks</strongs>, that I may go <strongs number="935">in</strongs>and <strongs number="6213">dress</strongs>it for me and my <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, that we may <strongs number="398">eat</strongs>it, and <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her, <strongs number="3372">Fear</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>; <strongs number="935">go</strongs><em> and </em><strongs number="6213">do</strongs>as thou hast <strongs number="1697">said</strongs>: <strongs number="389">but</strongs><strongs number="6213">make</strongs>me <strongs number="4480 8033">thereof</strongs>a <strongs number="6996">little</strongs><strongs number="5692">cake</strongs><strongs number="7223">first</strongs>, and <strongs number="3318">bring</strongs><em> it </em>unto me, and <strongs number="314">after</strongs><strongs number="6213">make</strongs>for thee and for thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, The <strongs number="3537">barrel</strongs>of <strongs number="7058">meal</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3615">waste</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall the <strongs number="6835">cruse</strongs>of <strongs number="8081">oil</strongs><strongs number="2637">fail</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">until</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><em> that </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5414">sendeth</strongs><strongs number="1653">rain</strongs><strongs number="5921 6440">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And she <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>according to the <strongs number="1697">saying</strongs>of <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>: and <strongs number="1931">she</strongs>, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>, and her <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, did <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><em> many </em><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'><em> And </em>the <strongs number="3537">barrel</strongs>of <strongs number="7058">meal</strongs><strongs number="3615">wasted</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>did the <strongs number="6835">cruse</strongs>of <strongs number="8081">oil</strongs><strongs number="2637">fail</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="3027">by</strongs><strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">things</strongs>, <em> that </em>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>, the <strongs number="1172">mistress</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, fell <strongs number="2470">sick</strongs>; and his <strongs number="2483">sickness</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="3966">so</strongs><strongs number="2389">sore</strongs>, <strongs number="5704 834">that</strongs>there was <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5397">breath</strongs><strongs number="3498">left</strongs>in him. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And she <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs>have I to do with thee, O thou <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>? art thou <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me to call <strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5771">sin</strongs>to <strongs number="2142">remembrance</strongs>, and to <strongs number="4191">slay</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her, <strongs number="5414">Give</strongs>me <strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>. And he <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>him out of her <strongs number="4480 2436">bosom</strongs>, and carried him <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>a <strongs number="5944">loft</strongs>, <strongs number="834 8033">where</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="3427">abode</strongs>, and <strongs number="7901">laid</strongs>him <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his own <strongs number="4296">bed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And he <strongs number="7121">cried</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>my <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, hast thou <strongs number="1571">also</strongs>brought <strongs number="7489">evil</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="490">widow</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="1481">sojourn</strongs>, by <strongs number="4191">slaying</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>her <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And he stretched <strongs number="4058">himself</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="3206">child</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="6471">times</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">cried</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>my <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, let <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3206">child</strongs>'s <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>come into him <strongs number="7725 5921 7130">again</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>; and the <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>of the <strongs number="3206">child</strongs>came into him <strongs number="7725 5921 7130">again</strongs>, and he <strongs number="2421">revived</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>And <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3206">child</strongs>, and brought him <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="5944">chamber</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>him unto his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>: and <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="7200">See</strongs>, thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>, <strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>by <strongs number="2088">this</strongs>I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><em> art </em>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <em> and </em>that the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>in thy <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="571">truth</strongs>. </verse>
