   <verse number='1'>Now the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="87">Abram</strongs>, Get thee <strongs number="1980">out</strongs>of thy <strongs number="4480 776">country</strongs>, and from thy <strongs number="4480 4138">kindred</strongs>, and from thy father's <strongs number="4480 1004 1">house</strongs>, <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>a <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I will <strongs number="7200">show</strongs>thee: </verse>
   <verse number='2'>And I will <strongs number="6213">make</strongs>of thee a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="1471">nation</strongs>, and I will <strongs number="1288">bless</strongs>thee, and make thy name <strongs number="1431 8034">great</strongs>; and thou shalt <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="1293">blessing</strongs>: </verse>
   <verse number='3'>And I will <strongs number="1288">bless</strongs>them that <strongs number="1288">bless</strongs>thee, and <strongs number="779">curse</strongs>him that <strongs number="7043">curseth</strongs>thee: and in thee shall <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="4940">families</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>be <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='4'>So <strongs number="87">Abram</strongs><strongs number="1980">departed</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him; and <strongs number="3876">Lot</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him: and <strongs number="87">Abram</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="7657">seventy</strongs>and <strongs number="2568">five</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs>when he <strongs number="3318">departed</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 2771">Haran</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="87">Abram</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="8297">Sarai</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, and <strongs number="3876">Lot</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>'s <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>their <strongs number="7399">substance</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>they had <strongs number="7408">gathered</strongs>, and the <strongs number="5315">souls</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>they had <strongs number="6213">gotten</strongs>in <strongs number="2771">Haran</strongs>; and they went <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>to <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>into the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>; and into the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>they <strongs number="935">came</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="87">Abram</strongs>passed <strongs number="5674">through</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>of <strongs number="7927">Sichem</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="436">plain</strongs>of <strongs number="4176">Moreh</strongs>. And the <strongs number="3669">Canaanite</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="227">then</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='7'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="87">Abram</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Unto thy <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>will I <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>: and <strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="1129">built</strongs>he an <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, who <strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him. </verse>
   <verse number='8'>And he <strongs number="6275">removed</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>unto a <strongs number="2022">mountain</strongs>on the <strongs number="4480 6924">east</strongs>of <strongs number="1008">Bethel</strongs>, and <strongs number="5186">pitched</strongs>his <strongs number="168">tent</strongs>, <em> having </em><strongs number="1008">Bethel</strongs>on the <strongs number="4480 3220">west</strongs>, and <strongs number="5857">Hai</strongs>on the <strongs number="4480 6924">east</strongs>: and <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>he <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>an <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>upon the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="87">Abram</strongs><strongs number="5265">journeyed</strongs>, going <strongs number="1980">on</strongs><strongs number="5265">still</strongs>toward the <strongs number="5045">south</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='10'>And there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>a <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>: and <strongs number="87">Abram</strongs>went <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>into <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>to <strongs number="1481">sojourn</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="3515">grievous</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='11'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <strongs number="834">when</strongs>he was come <strongs number="7126">near</strongs>to <strongs number="935">enter</strongs>into <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, that he <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="8297">Sarai</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs>, I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><em> art </em>a <strongs number="3303">fair</strongs><strongs number="802">woman</strongs>to look <strongs number="4758">upon</strongs>: </verse>
   <verse number='12'>Therefore it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>the <strongs number="4713">Egyptians</strongs>shall <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>thee, that they shall <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="2063">This</strongs><em> is </em>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>: and they will <strongs number="2026">kill</strongs>me, but they will save thee <strongs number="2421">alive</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='13'><strongs number="559">Say</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="859">thou</strongs><em> art </em>my <strongs number="269">sister</strongs>: <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>it may be <strongs number="3190">well</strongs>with me for thy <strongs number="5668">sake</strongs>; and my <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>shall <strongs number="2421">live</strongs>because <strongs number="1558">of</strongs>thee. </verse>
   <verse number='14'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, that, when <strongs number="87">Abram</strongs>was <strongs number="935">come</strongs>into <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, the <strongs number="4713">Egyptians</strongs><strongs number="7200">beheld</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="1931">she</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="3966">very</strongs><strongs number="3303">fair</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='15'>The <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>also of <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs>her, and <strongs number="1984">commended</strongs>her <strongs number="413">before</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>: and the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>was <strongs number="3947">taken</strongs>into <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='16'>And he entreated Abram <strongs number="3190 87">well</strongs>for her <strongs number="5668">sake</strongs>: and he <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs>, and <strongs number="1241">oxen</strongs>, and he <strongs number="2543">asses</strongs>, and <strongs number="5650">menservants</strongs>, and <strongs number="8198">maidservants</strongs>, and she <strongs number="860">asses</strongs>, and <strongs number="1581">camels</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='17'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5060">plagued</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>and his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>with <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="5061">plagues</strongs>because <strongs number="5921 1697">of</strongs><strongs number="8297">Sarai</strongs><strongs number="87">Abram</strongs>'s <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="87">Abram</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><em> that </em>thou hast <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>unto me? <strongs number="4100">why</strongs>didst thou <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5046">tell</strongs>me <strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="1931">she</strongs><em> was </em>thy <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>? </verse>
   <verse number='19'><strongs number="4100">Why</strongs><strongs number="559">saidst</strongs>thou, <strongs number="1931">She</strongs><em> is </em>my <strongs number="269">sister</strongs>? so I might have <strongs number="3947">taken</strongs>her to me to <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>: now <strongs number="6258">therefore</strongs><strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>thy <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><em> her </em>, and go thy <strongs number="1980">way</strongs>. </verse>
   <verse number='20'>And <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="376">men</strongs><strongs number="5921">concerning</strongs>him: and they sent him <strongs number="7971 *853">away</strongs>, and his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he had. </verse>
