      <verse number='1'>Then <strongs number="3378">Jerubbaal</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">who</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="1439">Gideon</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him, rose up <strongs number="7925">early</strongs>, and <strongs number="2583">pitched</strongs><strongs number="5921">beside</strongs>the <strongs number="5878">well</strongs>of <strongs number="5878">Harod</strongs>: so that the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>of the <strongs number="4080">Midianites</strongs><strongs number="1961">were</strongs>on the north <strongs number="4480 6828">side</strongs>of them, by the <strongs number="4480 1389">hill</strongs>of <strongs number="4176">Moreh</strongs>, in the <strongs number="6010">valley</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="1439">Gideon</strongs>, The <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>thee <em> are </em>too <strongs number="7227">many</strongs>for me to <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4080">Midianites</strongs>into their <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>, <strongs number="6435">lest</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>vaunt <strongs number="6286">themselves</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Mine own <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>hath <strongs number="3467">saved</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="6288">Now</strongs>therefore go <strongs number="4994">to</strongs>, <strongs number="7121">proclaim</strongs>in the <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">Whosoever</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="3373">fearful</strongs>and <strongs number="2730">afraid</strongs>, let him <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>and depart <strongs number="6852">early</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 2022">mount</strongs><strongs number="1568">Gilead</strongs>.       <verse number='10'>But <strongs number="518">if</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>to go <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>, <strongs number="3381">go</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>with <strongs number="6513">Phurah</strongs>thy <strongs number="5288">servant</strongs><strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And thou shalt <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><strongs number="4100">what</strongs>they <strongs number="1696">say</strongs>; and <strongs number="310">afterward</strongs>shall thine <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>be <strongs number="2388">strengthened</strongs>to go <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>unto the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>. Then went he <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>with <strongs number="6513">Phurah</strongs>his <strongs number="5288">servant</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="7097">outside</strongs>of the armed <strongs number="2571">men</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>in the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And the <strongs number="4080">Midianites</strongs>and the <strongs number="6003">Amalekites</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of the <strongs number="6924">east</strongs><strongs number="5307">lay</strongs>along in the <strongs number="6010">valley</strongs>like <strongs number="697">grasshoppers</strongs>for <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>; and their <strongs number="1581">camels</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="369">without</strongs><strongs number="4557">number</strongs>, as the <strongs number="2344">sand</strongs><strongs number="7945 5921">by</strongs>the <strongs number="3220">sea</strongs><strongs number="8193">side</strongs>for <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='16'>And he <strongs number="2673">divided</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs><em> into </em><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="7218">companies</strongs>, and he <strongs number="5414">put</strongs>a <strongs number="7782">trumpet</strongs>in every <strongs number="3605">man</strongs>'s <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, with <strongs number="7386">empty</strongs><strongs number="3537">pitchers</strongs>, and <strongs number="3940">lamps</strongs><strongs number="8432">within</strongs>the <strongs number="3537">pitchers</strongs>. </verse>
