      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1352">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="863">leaving</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="746">principles</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3056">doctrine</strongs>of <strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, let us go <strongs number="5342">on</strongs><strongs number="1909">unto</strongs><strongs number="5047">perfection</strongs>; <strongs number="3361">not</strongs><strongs number="2598">laying</strongs><strongs number="3825">again</strongs>the <strongs number="2310">foundation</strongs>of <strongs number="3341">repentance</strongs><strongs number="575">from</strongs><strongs number="3498">dead</strongs><strongs number="2041">works</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>of <strongs number="4102">faith</strongs><strongs number="1909">toward</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Of the <strongs number="1322">doctrine</strongs>of <strongs number="909">baptisms</strongs>, <strongs number="5037">and</strongs>of laying <strongs number="1936">on</strongs>of <strongs number="5495">hands</strongs>, <strongs number="5037">and</strongs>of <strongs number="386">resurrection</strongs>of the <strongs number="3498">dead</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>of <strongs number="166">eternal</strongs><strongs number="2917">judgment</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs><strongs number="5124">this</strongs>will we <strongs number="4160">do</strongs>, <strongs number="1437 4007">if</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs><strongs number="2010">permit</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><em> it </em><em> is </em><strongs number="102">impossible</strongs>for those who were once <strongs number="5461 530">enlightened</strongs>, <strongs number="5037">and</strongs>have <strongs number="1089">tasted</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2032">heavenly</strongs><strongs number="1431">gift</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>were <strongs number="1096">made</strongs><strongs number="3353">partakers</strongs>of the <strongs number="40">Holy</strongs><strongs number="4151">Ghost</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs>have <strongs number="1089">tasted</strongs>the <strongs number="2570">good</strongs><strongs number="4487">word</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, <strongs number="5037">and</strongs>the <strongs number="1411">powers</strongs>of the <strongs number="165">world</strongs>to <strongs number="3195">come</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='6'>If <strongs number="*2532">they</strongs>shall fall <strongs number="3895">away</strongs>, to <strongs number="340">renew</strongs>them <strongs number="3825">again</strongs><strongs number="1519">unto</strongs><strongs number="3341">repentance</strongs>; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God <strongs number="388 1438 3588 5207 2316">afresh</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>put <em> him </em>to an open <strongs number="3856">shame</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>the <strongs number="1093">earth</strongs>which drinketh <strongs number="4095">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5205">rain</strongs>that <strongs number="2064">cometh</strongs><strongs number="4178">oft</strongs><strongs number="1909">upon</strongs><strongs number="846">it</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>bringeth <strongs number="5088">forth</strongs><strongs number="1008">herbs</strongs><strongs number="2111">meet</strongs>for <strongs number="1565">them</strongs><strongs number="1223">by</strongs><strongs number="3739">whom</strongs>it <strongs number="*2532">is</strongs><strongs number="1090">dressed</strongs>, <strongs number="3335">receiveth</strongs><strongs number="2129">blessing</strongs><strongs number="575">from</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs>that which <strongs number="1627">beareth</strongs><strongs number="173">thorns</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="5146">briars</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="96">rejected</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><em> is </em>nigh <strongs number="1451">unto</strongs><strongs number="2671">cursing</strongs>; <strongs number="3739">whose</strongs><strongs number="5056">end</strongs><em> is </em>to be <strongs number="1519 2740">burned</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs>, <strongs number="27">beloved</strongs>, we are <strongs number="3982">persuaded</strongs>better <strongs number="2909">things</strongs><strongs number="4012">of</strongs><strongs number="5216">you</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>things that <strongs number="2192">accompany</strongs><strongs number="4991">salvation</strongs>, <strongs number="1499">though</strongs>we <strongs number="3779">thus</strongs><strongs number="2980">speak</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="94">unrighteous</strongs>to <strongs number="1950">forget</strongs><strongs number="5216">your</strongs><strongs number="2041">work</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2873">labor</strongs>of <strongs number="26">love</strongs>, <strongs number="3739">which</strongs>ye have <strongs number="1731">showed</strongs><strongs number="1519">toward</strongs><strongs number="846">his</strongs><strongs number="3686">name</strongs>, in that ye have <strongs number="1247">ministered</strongs>to <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="40">saints</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>do <strongs number="1247">minister</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="1161">And</strongs>we <strongs number="1937">desire</strongs>that every <strongs number="1538">one</strongs>of <strongs number="5216">you</strongs>do <strongs number="1731">show</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="846">same</strongs><strongs number="4710">diligence</strongs><strongs number="4314">to</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs>full <strongs number="4136">assurance</strongs>of <strongs number="1680">hope</strongs><strongs number="891">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="5056">end</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='14'><strongs number="3004">Saying</strongs>, <strongs number="2229 3375">Surely</strongs><strongs number="2127">blessing</strongs>I will <strongs number="2127">bless</strongs><strongs number="4571">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="4129">multiplying</strongs>I will <strongs number="4129">multiply</strongs><strongs number="4571">thee</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs><strongs number="3779">so</strongs>, after he had patiently <strongs number="3114">endured</strongs>, he <strongs number="2013">obtained</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1860">promise</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="444">men</strongs><strongs number="3303">verily</strongs><strongs number="3660">swear</strongs><strongs number="2596">by</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3187">greater</strongs>: <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>an <strongs number="3727">oath</strongs><strongs number="1519">for</strongs><strongs number="951">confirmation</strongs><em> is </em>to <strongs number="846">them</strongs>an <strongs number="4009">end</strongs>of <strongs number="3956">all</strongs><strongs number="485">strife</strongs>. </verse>
