      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3045">Understand</strongs>therefore this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="1931">he</strongs>which goeth <strongs number="5674">over</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>thee; <em> as </em>a <strongs number="398">consuming</strongs><strongs number="784">fire</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs>shall <strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs>them, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>shall bring them <strongs number="3665">down</strongs>before thy <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>: so shalt thou drive them <strongs number="3423">out</strongs>, and <strongs number="6">destroy</strongs>them <strongs number="4118">quickly</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">said</strongs>unto thee. </verse>

      <verse number='9'>When I was gone <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>into the <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs>to <strongs number="3947">receive</strongs>the <strongs number="3871">tables</strongs>of <strongs number="68">stone</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="3871">tables</strongs>of the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3772">made</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>you, then I <strongs number="3427">abode</strongs>in the <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs><strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>and <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="3915">nights</strongs>, I <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>did <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="3899">bread</strongs><strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='11'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>at the <strongs number="4480 7093">end</strongs>of <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>and <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="3915">nights</strongs>, <em> that </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5414 413">gave</strongs>me <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="3871">tables</strongs>of <strongs number="68">stone</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="3871">tables</strongs>of the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs>, get thee <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="4118">quickly</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 2088">hence</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou hast brought <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>have <strongs number="7843">corrupted</strongs><em> themselves </em>; they are <strongs number="4118">quickly</strongs>turned <strongs number="5493">aside</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>them; they have <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>them a molten <strongs number="4541">image</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>Furthermore the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, I have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">it</strongs><em> is </em>a <strongs number="7186 6203">stiffnecked</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Let me <strongs number="7503 4480">alone</strongs>, that I may <strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs>them, and blot <strongs number="4229">out</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8478">under</strongs><strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>: and I will <strongs number="6213">make</strongs>of thee a <strongs number="1471">nation</strongs><strongs number="6099">mightier</strongs>and <strongs number="7227">greater</strongs><strongs number="4480">than</strongs>they. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>So I <strongs number="6437">turned</strongs>and came <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>the <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs><strongs number="1197">burned</strongs>with <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>: and the <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="3871">tables</strongs>of the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>my <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And I <strongs number="7200">looked</strongs>, and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, ye had <strongs number="2398">sinned</strongs>against the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <em> and </em>had <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>you a <strongs number="4541">molten</strongs><strongs number="5695">calf</strongs>: ye had turned <strongs number="5493">aside</strongs><strongs number="4118">quickly</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And I <strongs number="8610">took</strongs>the <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="3871">tables</strongs>, and <strongs number="7993">cast</strongs>them out <strongs number="4480 5921">of</strongs>my <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>, and <strongs number="7665">broke</strongs>them before your <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And I fell <strongs number="5307">down</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, as at the <strongs number="7223">first</strongs>, <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>and <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="3915">nights</strongs>: I did <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, because <strongs number="5921">of</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>your <strongs number="2403">sins</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>ye <strongs number="2398">sinned</strongs>, in <strongs number="6213">doing</strongs><strongs number="7451">wickedly</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, to provoke him to <strongs number="3707">anger</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>I was <strongs number="3025">afraid</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">of</strongs>the <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>and hot <strongs number="2534">displeasure</strongs>, <strongs number="834">wherewith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>was <strongs number="7107">wroth</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>you to <strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs>you. But the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me at <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="6471">time</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>was very <strongs number="599 3966">angry</strongs>with <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>to have <strongs number="8045">destroyed</strongs>him: and I <strongs number="6419">prayed</strongs><strongs number="1157">for</strongs><strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>the <strongs number="1931">same</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='23'>Likewise when the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>you from <strongs number="4480 6947">Kadesh</strongs>-barnea, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>and <strongs number="3423">possess</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>you; then ye rebelled <strongs number="4784">against</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6310">commandment</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and ye <strongs number="539">believed</strongs>him <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs>to his <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='26'>I <strongs number="6419">prayed</strongs>therefore <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, O <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>, <strongs number="7843">destroy</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>and thine <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="6299">redeemed</strongs>through thy <strongs number="1433">greatness</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou hast brought <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>with a <strongs number="2389">mighty</strongs><strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>. </verse>
