      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1161">When</strongs>the <strongs number="4405">morning</strongs>was <strongs number="1096">come</strongs>, <strongs number="3956">all</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs>chief <strongs number="749">priests</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="4245">elders</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2992">people</strongs><strongs number="2983">took</strongs><strongs number="4824">counsel</strongs><strongs number="2596">against</strongs><strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs><strongs number="5620">to</strongs>put him to <strongs number="2289 846">death</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs>when they had <strongs number="1210">bound</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>, they led <em> him </em><strongs number="520">away</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3860">delivered</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>to <strongs number="4194">Pontius</strongs><strongs number="4091">Pilate</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2232">governor</strongs>. </verse>
