<verse number='1'>And when <strongs number="1109">Balaam</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>it <strongs number="2895 5869">pleased</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>to <strongs number="1288">bless</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, he <strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, as at other <strongs number="6471 6471">times</strongs>, to <strongs number="7125">seek</strongs>for <strongs number="5173">enchantments</strongs>, but he <strongs number="7896">set</strongs>his <strongs number="6440">face</strongs><strongs number="413">toward</strongs>the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='2'>And <strongs number="1109">Balaam</strongs>lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, and he <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="7931">abiding</strongs><em> in </em><em> his </em><em> tents </em>according to their <strongs number="7626">tribes</strongs>; and the <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>him. </verse>
<verse number='3'>And he took <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>his <strongs number="4912">parable</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="1109">Balaam</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="1160">Beor</strongs>hath <strongs number="5002">said</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1397">man</strongs>whose <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>are <strongs number="8365">open</strongs>hath <strongs number="5002">said</strongs>: </verse>
<verse number='4'>He hath <strongs number="5002">said</strongs>, which <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>the <strongs number="561">words</strongs>of <strongs number="410">God</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="2372">saw</strongs>the <strongs number="4236">vision</strongs>of the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>, <strongs number="5307">falling</strongs><em> into </em><em> a </em><em> trance </em>, but having his <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs><strongs number="1540">open</strongs>: </verse>
<verse number='5'><strongs number="4100">How</strongs><strongs number="2895">goodly</strongs>are thy <strongs number="168">tents</strongs>, O <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, <em> and </em>thy <strongs number="4908">tabernacles</strongs>, O <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>! </verse>
<verse number='6'>As the <strongs number="5158">valleys</strongs>are they spread <strongs number="5186">forth</strongs>, as <strongs number="1593">gardens</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>the <strongs number="5104">river</strongs>'s side, as the trees of lign <strongs number="174">aloes</strongs>which the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="5193">planted</strongs>, <em> and </em>as cedar <strongs number="730">trees</strongs><strongs number="5921">beside</strongs>the <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='7'>He shall <strongs number="5140">pour</strongs>the <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>out of his <strongs number="4480 1805">buckets</strongs>, and his <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em>in <strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>, and his <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>shall be <strongs number="7311">higher</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 90">Agag</strongs>, and his <strongs number="4438">kingdom</strongs>shall be <strongs number="5375">exalted</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='8'><strongs number="410">God</strongs>brought him <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>; he hath as it were the <strongs number="8443">strength</strongs>of a <strongs number="7214">unicorn</strongs>: he shall eat <strongs number="398">up</strongs>the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>his <strongs number="6862">enemies</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="1633">break</strongs>their <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>, and pierce <em> them </em><strongs number="4272">through</strongs>with his <strongs number="2671">arrows</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='9'>He <strongs number="3766">couched</strongs>, he lay <strongs number="7901">down</strongs>as a <strongs number="738">lion</strongs>, and as a great <strongs number="3833">lion</strongs>: <strongs number="4310">who</strongs>shall stir him <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>? <strongs number="1288">Blessed</strongs><em> is </em>he that <strongs number="1288">blesseth</strongs>thee, and <strongs number="779">cursed</strongs><em> is </em>he that <strongs number="779">curseth</strongs>thee. </verse>

<verse number='11'>Therefore <strongs number="6258">now</strongs><strongs number="1272">flee</strongs>thou <strongs number="413">to</strongs>thy <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>: I <strongs number="559">thought</strongs>to promote thee unto great <strongs number="3513 3513">honor</strongs>; but, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath kept thee <strongs number="4513">back</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 3519">honor</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='12'>And <strongs number="1109">Balaam</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="1111">Balak</strongs>, <strongs number="1696">Spoke</strongs>I <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>thy <strongs number="4397">messengers</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou <strongs number="7971">sentest</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>

<verse number='15'>And he took <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>his <strongs number="4912">parable</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="1109">Balaam</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="1160">Beor</strongs>hath <strongs number="5002">said</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1397">man</strongs>whose <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>are <strongs number="8365">open</strongs>hath <strongs number="5002">said</strongs>: </verse>

<verse number='18'>And <strongs number="123">Edom</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="3424">possession</strongs>, <strongs number="8165">Seir</strongs>also shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="3424">possession</strongs>for his <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>; and <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>shall <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="2428">valiantly</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='19'>Out of <strongs number="4480 3290">Jacob</strongs>shall come he that shall have <strongs number="7287">dominion</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="6">destroy</strongs>him that <strongs number="8300">remaineth</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 5892">city</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='20'>And when he looked <strongs number="7200">on</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="6002">Amalek</strongs>, he took <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>his <strongs number="4912">parable</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="6002">Amalek</strongs><em> was </em>the <strongs number="7225">first</strongs>of the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>; but his latter <strongs number="319">end</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em>that he <strongs number="8">perish</strongs><strongs number="5703">forever</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='21'>And he looked <strongs number="7200">on</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7017">Kenites</strongs>, and took <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>his <strongs number="4912">parable</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="386">Strong</strongs>is thy dwelling <strongs number="4186">place</strongs>, and thou <strongs number="7760">puttest</strongs>thy <strongs number="7064">nest</strongs>in a <strongs number="5553">rock</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='22'><strongs number="3588 518">Nevertheless</strongs>the <strongs number="7014">Kenite</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="1197">wasted</strongs>, <strongs number="5704 4100">until</strongs><strongs number="804">Asshur</strongs>shall carry thee away <strongs number="7617">captive</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='23'>And he took <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>his <strongs number="4912">parable</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="188">Alas</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">who</strongs>shall <strongs number="2421">live</strongs>when <strongs number="410">God</strongs><strongs number="4480 7760">doeth</strongs>this! </verse>
<verse number='24'>And <strongs number="6716">ships</strongs><em> shall </em><em> come </em>from the <strongs number="4480 3027">coast</strongs>of <strongs number="3794">Chittim</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="6031">afflict</strongs><strongs number="804">Asshur</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="6031">afflict</strongs><strongs number="5677">Eber</strongs>, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>shall <strongs number="8">perish</strongs><strongs number="5703">forever</strongs>. </verse>
