<verse number='1'><strongs number="8055">Rejoice</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>, O <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="413">for</strongs><strongs number="1524">joy</strongs>, as <em> other </em><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thou hast gone a <strongs number="2181">whoring</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, thou hast <strongs number="157">loved</strongs>a <strongs number="868">reward</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="1715">corn</strongs><strongs number="1637">floor</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='2'>The <strongs number="1637">floor</strongs>and the <strongs number="3342">winepress</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7462">feed</strongs>them, and the new <strongs number="8492">wine</strongs>shall <strongs number="3584">fail</strongs>in her. </verse>
<verse number='3'>They shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="776">land</strongs>; but <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>shall <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>to <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and they shall <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="2931">unclean</strongs><em> things </em>in <strongs number="804">Assyria</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='10'>I <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>like <strongs number="6025">grapes</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>; I <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs>your <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>as the <strongs number="1063">firstripe</strongs>in the fig <strongs number="8384">tree</strongs>at her first <strongs number="7225">time</strongs>: <em> but </em><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="935">went</strongs>to <strongs number="1187">Baal</strongs>-peor, and separated <strongs number="5144">themselves</strongs>unto <em> that </em><strongs number="1322">shame</strongs>; and <em> their </em><strongs number="8251">abominations</strongs><strongs number="1961">were</strongs>according as they <strongs number="157">loved</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='13'><strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>I <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="6865">Tyrus</strongs>, <em> is </em><strongs number="8362">planted</strongs>in a pleasant <strongs number="5116">place</strongs>: but <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>shall bring <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">children</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="2026">murderer</strongs>. </verse>
