      <verse number='1'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in the <strongs number="259 6240">eleventh</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>, in the <strongs number="7992">third</strongs><em> month </em>, in the <strongs number="259">first</strongs><em> day </em>of the <strongs number="2320">month</strongs>, <em> that </em>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1121">Son</strongs>of <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, <strongs number="559">speak</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and <strongs number="413">to</strongs>his <strongs number="1995">multitude</strongs>; <strongs number="413 4310">Whom</strongs>art thou <strongs number="1819">like</strongs>in thy <strongs number="1433">greatness</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="804">Assyrian</strongs><em> was </em>a <strongs number="730">cedar</strongs>in <strongs number="3844">Lebanon</strongs>with <strongs number="3303">fair</strongs><strongs number="6057">branches</strongs>, and with a <strongs number="6751">shadowing</strongs><strongs number="2793">shroud</strongs>, and of a <strongs number="1362">high</strongs><strongs number="6967">stature</strongs>; and his <strongs number="6788">top</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="996">among</strongs>the thick <strongs number="5688">boughs</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>The <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>made him <strongs number="1431">great</strongs>, the <strongs number="8415">deep</strongs>set him up on <strongs number="7311">high</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>her <strongs number="5104">rivers</strongs><strongs number="1980">running</strongs>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>his <strongs number="4302">plants</strongs>, and sent <strongs number="7971">out</strongs>her little <strongs number="8585">rivers</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="5921 3651">Therefore</strongs>his <strongs number="6967">height</strongs>was <strongs number="1361">exalted</strongs>above <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>, and his <strongs number="5634">boughs</strongs>were <strongs number="7235">multiplied</strongs>, and his <strongs number="6288">branches</strongs>became <strongs number="748">long</strongs>because of the <strongs number="7227">multitude</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 4325">waters</strongs>, when he shot <strongs number="7971">forth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3605">All</strongs>the <strongs number="5775">fowls</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>made their <strongs number="7077">nests</strongs>in his <strongs number="5589">boughs</strongs>, and <strongs number="8478">under</strongs>his <strongs number="6288">branches</strongs>did <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="2416">beasts</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>bring forth their <strongs number="3205">young</strongs>, and under his <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Thus was he <strongs number="3302">fair</strongs>in his <strongs number="1433">greatness</strongs>, in the <strongs number="753">length</strongs>of his <strongs number="1808">branches</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>his <strongs number="8328">root</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="413">by</strongs><strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>The <strongs number="730">cedars</strongs>in the <strongs number="1588">garden</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>could <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6004">hide</strongs>him: the fir <strongs number="1265">trees</strongs>were not <strongs number="1819 3808 413">like</strongs>his <strongs number="5589">boughs</strongs>, and the chestnut <strongs number="6196">trees</strongs><strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>like his <strongs number="6288">branches</strongs>; <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="6086">tree</strongs>in the <strongs number="1588">garden</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>was <strongs number="1819">like</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him in his <strongs number="3308">beauty</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>I have <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>him <strongs number="3303">fair</strongs>by the <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of his <strongs number="1808">branches</strongs>: so that <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>of <strongs number="5731">Eden</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>in the <strongs number="1588">garden</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="7065">envied</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; <strongs number="3282 834">Because</strongs>thou hast lifted <strongs number="1361">up</strongs>thyself in <strongs number="6967">height</strongs>, and he hath shot <strongs number="5414">up</strongs>his <strongs number="6788">top</strongs><strongs number="413 996">among</strongs>the thick <strongs number="5688">boughs</strongs>, and his <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>is lifted <strongs number="7311">up</strongs>in his <strongs number="1363">height</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='11'>I have therefore <strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>him into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the mighty <strongs number="352">one</strongs>of the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>; he shall surely <strongs number="6213 6213">deal</strongs>with him: I have driven him <strongs number="1644">out</strongs>for his <strongs number="7562">wickedness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="2114">strangers</strongs>, the <strongs number="6184">terrible</strongs>of the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>, have cut him <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>, and have <strongs number="5203">left</strongs>him: <strongs number="413">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>and in <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1516">valleys</strongs>his <strongs number="1808">branches</strongs>are <strongs number="5307">fallen</strongs>, and his <strongs number="6288">boughs</strongs>are <strongs number="7665">broken</strongs>by <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="650">rivers</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>; and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>are gone <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>from his <strongs number="4480 6738">shadow</strongs>, and have <strongs number="5203">left</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="5921">Upon</strongs>his <strongs number="4658">ruin</strongs>shall <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5775">fowls</strongs>of the <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs><strongs number="7931">remain</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="2416">beasts</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="6288">branches</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='14'>To the <strongs number="4616">end</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="3808">none</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>by the <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>exalt <strongs number="1361">themselves</strongs>for their <strongs number="6967">height</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shoot <strongs number="5414">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="6788">top</strongs><strongs number="413 996">among</strongs>the thick <strongs number="5688">boughs</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>their <strongs number="352">trees</strongs>stand <strongs number="5975">up</strongs>in their <strongs number="1363">height</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>they are <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>unto <strongs number="4194">death</strongs>, <strongs number="413">to</strongs>the nether <strongs number="8482">parts</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>, in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="120">men</strongs>, <strongs number="413">with</strongs>them that go <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>to the <strongs number="953">pit</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; In the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>when he went <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>to the <strongs number="7585">grave</strongs>I caused a <strongs number="56">mourning</strongs>: I <strongs number="3680">covered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8415">deep</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>him, and I <strongs number="4513">restrained</strongs>the <strongs number="5104">floods</strongs>thereof, and the <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>were <strongs number="3607">stayed</strongs>: and I caused <strongs number="3844">Lebanon</strongs>to <strongs number="6937">mourn</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>him, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs><strongs number="5969">fainted</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>I made the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>to <strongs number="7493">shake</strongs>at the <strongs number="4480 6963">sound</strongs>of his <strongs number="4658">fall</strongs>, when I cast him <strongs number="3381 *853">down</strongs>to <strongs number="7585">hell</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>them that <strongs number="3381">descend</strongs>into the <strongs number="953">pit</strongs>: and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>of <strongs number="5731">Eden</strongs>, the <strongs number="4005">choice</strongs>and <strongs number="2896">best</strongs>of <strongs number="3844">Lebanon</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, shall be <strongs number="5162">comforted</strongs>in the nether <strongs number="8482">parts</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="1992">They</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>went <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>into <strongs number="7585">hell</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him <strongs number="413">unto</strongs><em> them </em><em> that </em><em> be </em><strongs number="2491">slain</strongs>with the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>; and <em> they </em><em> that </em><em> were </em>his <strongs number="2220">arm</strongs>, <em> that </em><strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>under his <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs>in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="413">To</strongs><strongs number="4310">whom</strongs>art thou thus <strongs number="1819 3602">like</strongs>in <strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>and in <strongs number="1433">greatness</strongs>among the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>of <strongs number="5731">Eden</strongs>? yet shalt thou be brought <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>of <strongs number="5731">Eden</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the nether <strongs number="8482">parts</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>: thou shalt <strongs number="7901">lie</strongs>in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="6189">uncircumcised</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs><em> them </em><em> that </em><em> be </em><strongs number="2491">slain</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>. <strongs number="1931">This</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="1995">multitude</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>. </verse>
