      <verse number='1'>And the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1121">Son</strongs>of <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, <strongs number="5012">prophesy</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>that <strongs number="5012">prophesy</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">say</strongs>thou unto them that <strongs number="5030">prophesy</strongs>out of their own <strongs number="4480 3820">hearts</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>ye the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; <strongs number="1945">Woe</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="5036">foolish</strongs><strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="1980 310">follow</strongs>their own <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>, and have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs><strongs number="1115">nothing</strongs>! </verse>
      <verse number='4'>O <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, thy <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs><strongs number="1961">are</strongs>like the <strongs number="7776">foxes</strongs>in the <strongs number="2723">deserts</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Ye have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>gone <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>into the <strongs number="6556">gaps</strongs>, neither made <strongs number="1443">up</strongs>the <strongs number="1447">hedge</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>to <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs>in the <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>They have <strongs number="2372">seen</strongs><strongs number="7723">vanity</strongs>and <strongs number="3577">lying</strongs><strongs number="7081">divination</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>: and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>them: and they have made <em> others </em>to <strongs number="3176">hope</strongs>that they would <strongs number="6965">confirm</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Have ye <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2372">seen</strongs>a <strongs number="7723">vain</strongs><strongs number="4236">vision</strongs>, and have ye not <strongs number="559">spoken</strongs>a <strongs number="3577">lying</strongs><strongs number="4738">divination</strongs>, whereas ye <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5002">saith</strongs><em> it </em>; albeit <strongs number="589">I</strongs>have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; <strongs number="3282">Because</strongs>ye have <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs><strongs number="7723">vanity</strongs>, and <strongs number="2372">seen</strongs><strongs number="3577">lies</strongs>, <strongs number="3651">therefore</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I <em> am </em><strongs number="413">against</strongs>you, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And mine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>that <strongs number="2372">see</strongs><strongs number="7723">vanity</strongs>, and that <strongs number="7080">divine</strongs><strongs number="3577">lies</strongs>: they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs>in the <strongs number="5475">assembly</strongs>of my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall they be <strongs number="3789">written</strongs>in the <strongs number="3791">writing</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall they <strongs number="935">enter</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="127">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; and ye shall <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="3282">Because</strongs>, even <strongs number="3282">because</strongs>they have <strongs number="2937">seduced</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="7965">Peace</strongs>; and <em> there </em><em> was </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>; and <strongs number="1931">one</strongs>built <strongs number="1129">up</strongs>a <strongs number="2434">wall</strongs>, and, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, others <strongs number="2902">daubed</strongs>it with <strongs number="8602">untempered</strongs><em> mortar </em>: </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="559">Say</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them which <strongs number="2902">daub</strongs><em> it </em>with <strongs number="8602">untempered</strongs><em> mortar </em>, that it shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>: there shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>an <strongs number="7857">overflowing</strongs><strongs number="1653">shower</strongs>; and <strongs number="859">ye</strongs>, O great <strongs number="68 417">hailstones</strongs>, shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>; and a <strongs number="5591">stormy</strongs><strongs number="7307">wind</strongs>shall <strongs number="1234">rend</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="2009">Lo</strongs>, when the <strongs number="7023">wall</strongs>is <strongs number="5307">fallen</strongs>, shall it <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>you, <strongs number="346">Where</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="2915">daubing</strongs><strongs number="834">wherewith</strongs>ye have <strongs number="2902">daubed</strongs><em> it </em>? </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; I will even <strongs number="1234">rend</strongs><em> it </em>with a <strongs number="5591">stormy</strongs><strongs number="7307">wind</strongs>in my <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>; and there shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>an <strongs number="7857">overflowing</strongs><strongs number="1653">shower</strongs>in mine <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, and great <strongs number="68 417">hailstones</strongs>in <em> my </em><strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>to <strongs number="3617">consume</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>So will I break <strongs number="2040">down</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7023">wall</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>ye have <strongs number="2902">daubed</strongs>with <strongs number="8602">untempered</strongs><em> mortar </em>, and bring it <strongs number="5060">down</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="776">ground</strongs>, so that the <strongs number="3247">foundation</strongs>thereof shall be <strongs number="1540">discovered</strongs>, and it shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>, and ye shall be <strongs number="3615">consumed</strongs>in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>thereof: and ye shall <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>Thus will I <strongs number="3615">accomplish</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="2534">wrath</strongs>upon the <strongs number="7023">wall</strongs>, and upon them that have <strongs number="2902">daubed</strongs>it with <strongs number="8602">untempered</strongs><em> mortar </em>, and will <strongs number="559">say</strongs>unto you, The <strongs number="7023">wall</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><em> more </em>, <strongs number="369">neither</strongs>they that <strongs number="2902">daubed</strongs>it; </verse>
      <verse number='16'><em> To </em><em> wit </em>, the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>which <strongs number="5012">prophesy</strongs><strongs number="413">concerning</strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and which <strongs number="2372">see</strongs><strongs number="2377">visions</strongs>of <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>for her, and <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>Likewise, <strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, <strongs number="7760">set</strongs>thy <strongs number="6440">face</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs>the <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>of thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, which <strongs number="5012">prophesy</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>their own <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>; and <strongs number="5012">prophesy</strongs>thou <strongs number="5921">against</strongs>them, </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; <strongs number="1945">Woe</strongs>to the <em> women </em>that <strongs number="8609">sew</strongs><strongs number="3704">pillows</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="679 3027">armholes</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">make</strongs><strongs number="4555">kerchiefs</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="6967">stature</strongs>to <strongs number="6679">hunt</strongs><strongs number="5315">souls</strongs>! Will ye <strongs number="6679">hunt</strongs>the <strongs number="5315">souls</strongs>of my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and will ye save the souls <strongs number="2421 5315">alive</strongs><em> that </em><em> come </em>unto you? </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And will ye <strongs number="2490">pollute</strongs>me <strongs number="413">among</strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>for <strongs number="8168">handfuls</strongs>of <strongs number="8184">barley</strongs>and for <strongs number="6595">pieces</strongs>of <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>, to <strongs number="4191">slay</strongs>the <strongs number="5315">souls</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>should <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="4191">die</strongs>, and to save the souls <strongs number="2421 5315">alive</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>should <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2421">live</strongs>, by your <strongs number="3576">lying</strongs>to my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>that <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><em> your </em><strongs number="3577">lies</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='22'><strongs number="3282">Because</strongs>with <strongs number="8267">lies</strongs>ye have made the <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>of the <strongs number="6662">righteous</strongs><strongs number="3512">sad</strongs>, whom <strongs number="589">I</strongs>have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>made <strongs number="3510">sad</strongs>; and <strongs number="2388">strengthened</strongs>the <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>of the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>, that he should <strongs number="1115">not</strongs><strongs number="7725">return</strongs>from his wicked <strongs number="4480 1870 7451">way</strongs>, by promising him <strongs number="2421">life</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='23'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs>ye shall <strongs number="2372">see</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5750">more</strongs><strongs number="7723">vanity</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="7080">divine</strongs><strongs number="7081">divinations</strongs>: for I will <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>out of your <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>: and ye shall <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
