      <verse number='1'>Against <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="1945">Woe</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="5015">Nebo</strongs>! <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>it is <strongs number="7703">spoiled</strongs>: <strongs number="7156">Kiriathaim</strongs>is <strongs number="3001">confounded</strongs><em> and </em><strongs number="3920">taken</strongs>: <strongs number="4869">Misgab</strongs>is <strongs number="3001">confounded</strongs>and <strongs number="2865">dismayed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><em> There </em><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="5750">more</strongs><strongs number="8416">praise</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>: in <strongs number="2809">Heshbon</strongs>they have <strongs number="2803">devised</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>it; <strongs number="1980">come</strongs>, and let us cut it <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>from <em> being </em>a <strongs number="4480 1471">nation</strongs>. <strongs number="1571">Also</strongs>thou shalt be cut <strongs number="1826">down</strongs>, O <strongs number="4086">Madmen</strongs>; the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>shall <strongs number="1980 310">pursue</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>A <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="6818">crying</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em>from <strongs number="4480 2773">Horonaim</strongs>, <strongs number="7701">spoiling</strongs>and <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="7667">destruction</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>is <strongs number="7665">destroyed</strongs>; her little <strongs number="6810">ones</strongs>have caused a <strongs number="2201">cry</strongs>to be <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>in the going <strongs number="4608">up</strongs>of <strongs number="3872">Luhith</strongs>continual <strongs number="1065 1065">weeping</strongs>shall go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>in the going <strongs number="4174">down</strongs>of <strongs number="2773">Horonaim</strongs>the <strongs number="6862">enemies</strongs>have <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>a <strongs number="6818">cry</strongs>of <strongs number="7667">destruction</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='9'><strongs number="5414">Give</strongs><strongs number="6731">wings</strongs>unto <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>it may <strongs number="5323">flee</strongs>and get <strongs number="3318">away</strongs>: for the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>thereof shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="8047">desolate</strongs>, without <strongs number="4480 369">any</strongs>to <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs><strongs number="2004">therein</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='23'>And <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="7156">Kiriathaim</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="1014">Beth</strongs>-gamul, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="1010">Bethmeon</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="7152">Kerioth</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="1224">Bozrah</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, <strongs number="7350">far</strongs>or <strongs number="7138">near</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>The <strongs number="7161">horn</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>is cut <strongs number="1438">off</strongs>, and his <strongs number="2220">arm</strongs>is <strongs number="7665">broken</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='26'>Make ye him <strongs number="7937">drunken</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he <strongs number="1431">magnified</strongs><em> himself </em><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>also shall <strongs number="5606">wallow</strongs>in his <strongs number="6892">vomit</strongs>, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>in <strongs number="7814">derision</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'><strongs number="518">For</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>a <strongs number="7814">derision</strongs>unto thee? was he <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>among <strongs number="1590">thieves</strongs>? <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="4480 1767">since</strongs>thou <strongs number="1697">spakest</strongs>of him, thou skippedst for <strongs number="5110">joy</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='28'>O ye that <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>in <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, <strongs number="5800">leave</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>, and <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="5553">rock</strongs>, and <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>like the <strongs number="3123">dove</strongs><em> that </em>maketh her <strongs number="7077">nest</strongs>in the <strongs number="5676">sides</strongs>of the <strongs number="6354">hole</strongs>'s <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='29'>We have <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>the <strongs number="1347">pride</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, (he is <strongs number="3966">exceeding</strongs><strongs number="1343">proud</strongs>) his <strongs number="1363">loftiness</strongs>, and his <strongs number="1347">arrogance</strongs>, and his <strongs number="1346">pride</strongs>, and the <strongs number="7312">haughtiness</strongs>of his <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='30'><strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="3045">know</strongs>his <strongs number="5678">wrath</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; but <em> it </em><em> shall </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><em> be </em><strongs number="3651">so</strongs>; his <strongs number="907">lies</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3651">so</strongs><strongs number="6213">effect</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>

      <verse number='38'><em> There </em><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="4553">lamentation</strongs><strongs number="3605">generally</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1406">housetops</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="7339">streets</strongs>thereof: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I have <strongs number="7665">broken</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>like a <strongs number="3627">vessel</strongs>wherein <em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="2656">pleasure</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='40'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, he shall <strongs number="1675">fly</strongs>as an <strongs number="5404">eagle</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="6566">spread</strongs>his <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs><strongs number="413">over</strongs><strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='41'><strongs number="7152">Kerioth</strongs>is <strongs number="3920">taken</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4679">strongholds</strongs>are <strongs number="8610">surprised</strongs>, and the mighty <strongs number="1368">men</strongs>'s <strongs number="3820">hearts</strongs>in <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>at <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as the <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>of a <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>in her <strongs number="6887">pangs</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='43'><strongs number="6343">Fear</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6354">pit</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6341">snare</strongs>, <em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thee, O <strongs number="3427">inhabitant</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='45'>They that <strongs number="5127">fled</strongs><strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>under the <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs>of <strongs number="2809">Heshbon</strongs>because of the <strongs number="4480 3581">force</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">but</strongs>a <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>shall come <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 2809">Heshbon</strongs>, and a <strongs number="3852">flame</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 996">midst</strongs>of <strongs number="5511">Sihon</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="398">devour</strongs>the <strongs number="6285">corner</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, and the crown of the <strongs number="6936">head</strongs>of the <strongs number="7588">tumultuous</strongs><strongs number="1121">ones</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='46'><strongs number="188">Woe</strongs>be unto thee, O <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>! the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of <strongs number="3645">Chemosh</strongs><strongs number="6">perisheth</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thy <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>are <strongs number="3947">taken</strongs><strongs number="7628">captives</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs><strongs number="7633">captives</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='47'>Yet will I bring <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>the <strongs number="7622">captivity</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>in the <strongs number="319">latter</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. <strongs number="2008">Thus</strongs><strongs number="5704">far</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>. </verse>
