      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>, Let, we beseech <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, our <strongs number="8467">supplication</strongs>be <strongs number="5307">accepted</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>thee, and <strongs number="6419">pray</strongs><strongs number="1157">for</strongs>us <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="1157">for</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="7611">remnant</strongs>; ( <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>we are <strongs number="7604">left</strongs><em> but </em>a <strongs number="4592">few</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 7235">many</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>thine <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>do <strongs number="7200">behold</strongs>us:) </verse>
      <verse number='3'>That the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>may <strongs number="5046">show</strongs>us <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs><strongs number="834">wherein</strongs>we may <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1697">thing</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>we may <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Then <strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, I have <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><em> you </em>; <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="6419">pray</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>according to your <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>; and it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <em> that </em><strongs number="3605 834">whatsoever</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="6030">answer</strongs>you, I will <strongs number="5046">declare</strongs><em> it </em>unto you; I will keep nothing <strongs number="4513 3808 1697">back</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Then <strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="571">true</strongs>and <strongs number="539">faithful</strongs><strongs number="5707">witness</strongs>between us, <strongs number="518">if</strongs>we <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3651">even</strongs>according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="1697">things</strongs>for the <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>shall <strongs number="7971">send</strongs>thee <strongs number="413">to</strongs>us. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="518">Whether</strongs><em> it </em><em> be </em><strongs number="2896">good</strongs>, or <strongs number="518">whether</strongs><em> it </em><em> be </em><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>, we will <strongs number="8085">obey</strongs>the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, to <strongs number="834">whom</strongs><strongs number="580">we</strongs><strongs number="7971">send</strongs>thee; <strongs number="4616 834">that</strongs>it may be <strongs number="3190">well</strongs>with us, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>we <strongs number="8085">obey</strongs>the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs><strongs number="4480 7093">after</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>, that the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Then <strongs number="7121 413">called</strongs>he <strongs number="3110">Johanan</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="7143">Kareah</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">captains</strongs>of the <strongs number="2428">forces</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 6996">least</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="1419">greatest</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>ye <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>me to <strongs number="5307">present</strongs>your <strongs number="8467">supplication</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him; </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>ye will still <strongs number="7725 3427">abide</strongs>in <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, then will I <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>you, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>pull <em> you </em><strongs number="2040">down</strongs>, and I will <strongs number="5193">plant</strongs>you, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>pluck <em> you </em><strongs number="5428">up</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I <strongs number="5162">repent</strongs>me <strongs number="413">of</strongs>the <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>unto you. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>Be <strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="3372">afraid</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">of</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>, of <strongs number="834">whom</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs>are <strongs number="3372 4480 6440">afraid</strongs>; be <strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="3372">afraid</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>him, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>you to <strongs number="3467">save</strongs>you, and to <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs>you from his <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And I will <strongs number="5414">show</strongs><strongs number="7356">mercies</strongs>unto you, that he may have mercy <strongs number="7355">upon</strongs>you, and cause you to <strongs number="7725 *853">return</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>your own <strongs number="127">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>But <strongs number="518">if</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="559">say</strongs>, We will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>in <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <strongs number="1115">neither</strongs><strongs number="8085">obey</strongs>the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="559">Saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">No</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">but</strongs>we will <strongs number="935">go</strongs>into the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, <strongs number="834">where</strongs>we shall <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="4421">war</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>the <strongs number="6963">sound</strongs>of the <strongs number="7782">trumpet</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs>have <strongs number="7456">hunger</strongs>of <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>; and <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>will we <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And <strongs number="6258">now</strongs><strongs number="3651">therefore</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, ye <strongs number="7611">remnant</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>; <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="518">If</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs>wholly <strongs number="7760 7760">set</strongs>your <strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>to enter <strongs number="935">into</strongs><strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">go</strongs>to <strongs number="1481">sojourn</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Then it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <em> that </em>the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="3373 4480">feared</strongs>, shall <strongs number="5381">overtake</strongs>you <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and the <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whereof</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs>were <strongs number="1672 4480">afraid</strongs>, shall follow <strongs number="1692">close</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>you <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>in <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>; and <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>ye shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>So shall it <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="7760">set</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>to go <strongs number="935">into</strongs><strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>to <strongs number="1481">sojourn</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>; they shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, by the <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>, and by the <strongs number="1698">pestilence</strongs>: and <strongs number="3808">none</strongs>of them <strongs number="1961">shall</strongs><strongs number="8300">remain</strongs>or <strongs number="6412">escape</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">from</strongs>the <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="834">As</strongs>mine <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>and my <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>hath been poured <strongs number="5413">forth</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>; <strongs number="3651">so</strongs>shall my <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>be poured <strongs number="5413">forth</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>you, when ye <strongs number="1961">shall</strongs>enter <strongs number="935">into</strongs><strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>: and ye shall be an <strongs number="423">execration</strongs>, and an <strongs number="8047">astonishment</strongs>, and a <strongs number="7045">curse</strongs>, and a <strongs number="2781">reproach</strongs>; and ye shall <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5750">more</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">said</strongs><strongs number="5921">concerning</strongs>you, O ye <strongs number="7611">remnant</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>; <strongs number="935">Go</strongs>ye <strongs number="408">not</strongs>into <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>: know <strongs number="3045 3045">certainly</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="5749">admonished</strongs>you this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>ye <strongs number="8582">dissembled</strongs>in your <strongs number="5315">hearts</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>me <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="6419">Pray</strongs><strongs number="1157">for</strongs>us <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>; and according unto <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>shall <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="3651">so</strongs><strongs number="5046">declare</strongs>unto us, and we will <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And <em> now </em>I have this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><strongs number="5046">declared</strongs><em> it </em>to you; but ye have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">obeyed</strongs>the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, nor <strongs number="3605">any</strongs><em> thing </em>for the <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he hath <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>me <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='22'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore know <strongs number="3045 3045">certainly</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>ye shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, by the <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>, and by the <strongs number="1698">pestilence</strongs>, in the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="834 8033">whither</strongs>ye <strongs number="2654">desire</strongs>to <strongs number="935">go</strongs><em> and </em>to <strongs number="1481">sojourn</strongs>. </verse>
