      <verse number='7'>Now when <strongs number="5663">Ebed</strongs>-melech the <strongs number="3569">Ethiopian</strongs>, <strongs number="376">one</strongs>of the <strongs number="5631">eunuchs</strongs><strongs number="1931">which</strongs>was in the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>they had <strongs number="5414">put</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs><strongs number="413">in</strongs>the <strongs number="953">dungeon</strongs>; the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>then <strongs number="3427">sitting</strongs>in the <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>of <strongs number="1144">Benjamin</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="5663">Ebed</strongs>-melech went <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>, and <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>

      <verse number='11'>So <strongs number="5663">Ebed</strongs>-melech <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs><strongs number="3027">with</strongs>him, and went <strongs number="935">into</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="413 8478">under</strongs>the <strongs number="214">treasury</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs><strongs number="1094">old</strongs>cast <strongs number="5499">clouts</strongs>and <strongs number="1094">old</strongs>rotten <strongs number="4418">rags</strongs>, and let them <strongs number="7971">down</strongs>by <strongs number="2256">cords</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="953">dungeon</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="5663">Ebed</strongs>-melech the <strongs number="3569">Ethiopian</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>, <strongs number="7760">Put</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs><em> these </em><strongs number="1094">old</strongs>cast <strongs number="5499">clouts</strongs>and rotten <strongs number="4418">rags</strongs><strongs number="8478">under</strongs>thine <strongs number="679 3027">armholes</strongs><strongs number="4480 8478">under</strongs>the <strongs number="2256">cords</strongs>.       <verse number='13'>So they drew <strongs number="4900">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>with <strongs number="2256">cords</strongs>, and took him <strongs number="5927 *853">up</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="953">dungeon</strongs>: and <strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs><strongs number="3427">remained</strongs>in the <strongs number="2691">court</strongs>of the <strongs number="4307">prison</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Then <strongs number="6667">Zedekiah</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him <strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="7992">third</strongs><strongs number="3996">entry</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> is </em>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="7592">ask</strongs>thee a <strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>; <strongs number="3582">hide</strongs><strongs number="408 1697">nothing</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>me. </verse>

      <verse number='16'>So <strongs number="6667">Zedekiah</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="7650">swore</strongs><strongs number="5643">secretly</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <em> As </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="6213">made</strongs>us <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>, I will <strongs number="518">not</strongs>put thee to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs>, <strongs number="518">neither</strongs>will I <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>thee into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="1245">seek</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="5315">life</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='20'>But <strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, They shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5414">deliver</strongs><em> thee </em>. <strongs number="8085">Obey</strongs>, I beseech <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="1696">speak</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee: so it shall be <strongs number="3190">well</strongs>unto thee, and thy <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>shall <strongs number="2421">live</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>But <strongs number="518">if</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="3986">refuse</strongs>to go <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>, <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>me: </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="802">women</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>are <strongs number="7604">left</strongs>in the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em>brought <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>'s <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>, and <strongs number="2007">those</strongs><em> women </em>shall <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, Thy <strongs number="376 7965">friends</strongs>have <strongs number="5496">set</strongs>thee on, and have <strongs number="3201">prevailed</strongs>against thee: thy <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs>are <strongs number="2883">sunk</strongs>in the <strongs number="1206">mire</strongs>, <em> and </em>they are turned <strongs number="5472">away</strongs><strongs number="268">back</strongs>. </verse>
