      <verse number='2'>For <strongs number="227">then</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>'s <strongs number="2428">army</strongs><strongs number="6696 5921">besieged</strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>: and <strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>shut <strongs number="3607">up</strongs>in the <strongs number="2691">court</strongs>of the <strongs number="4307">prison</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> was </em>in the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='27'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>: is there <strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>too <strongs number="6381">hard</strongs><strongs number="4480">for</strongs>me? </verse>

      <verse number='33'>And they have <strongs number="6437">turned</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me the <strongs number="6203">back</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>: though I <strongs number="3925">taught</strongs>them, rising up <strongs number="7925">early</strongs>and <strongs number="3925">teaching</strongs><em> them </em>, yet they have <strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs>to <strongs number="3947">receive</strongs><strongs number="4148">instruction</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='35'>And they <strongs number="1129">built</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the high <strongs number="1116">places</strongs>of <strongs number="1168">Baal</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> are </em>in the <strongs number="1516">valley</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2011">Hinnom</strongs>, to cause <strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and their <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>to pass <strongs number="5674">through</strongs><em> the </em><em> fire </em>unto <strongs number="4432">Molech</strongs>; <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>them <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="5927">came</strongs>it <strongs number="5921">into</strongs>my <strongs number="3820">mind</strongs>, that they should <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="8441">abomination</strongs>, <strongs number="4616">to</strongs>cause <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>to <strongs number="2398">sin</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='36'>And <strongs number="6258">now</strongs><strongs number="3651">therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="413">concerning</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whereof</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="559">say</strongs>, It shall be <strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, and by the <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>, and by the <strongs number="1698">pestilence</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='37'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="6908">gather</strongs>them out of <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs><strongs number="776">countries</strongs>, <strongs number="834 8033">whither</strongs>I have <strongs number="5080">driven</strongs>them in mine <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, and in my <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>, and in <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="7110">wrath</strongs>; and I will bring them <strongs number="7725">again</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, and I will cause them to <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs><strongs number="983">safely</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='38'>And they shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and <strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>their <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='39'>And I will <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>them <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>, and <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="1870">way</strongs>, that they may <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>me <strongs number="3605 3117">forever</strongs>, for the <strongs number="2896">good</strongs>of them, and of their <strongs number="1121">children</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>them: </verse>
      <verse number='40'>And I will <strongs number="3772">make</strongs>an <strongs number="5769">everlasting</strongs><strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>with them, <strongs number="834">that</strongs>I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>turn <strongs number="7725">away</strongs><strongs number="4480 310">from</strongs>them, to do them <strongs number="3190 *853">good</strongs>; but I will <strongs number="5414">put</strongs>my <strongs number="3374">fear</strongs>in their <strongs number="3824">hearts</strongs>, that they shall <strongs number="1115">not</strongs><strongs number="5493">depart</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='41'>Yea, I will <strongs number="7797">rejoice</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>them to do them <strongs number="2895 *853">good</strongs>, and I will <strongs number="5193">plant</strongs>them in <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="571">assuredly</strongs>with my <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>and with my <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='42'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; Like <strongs number="834">as</strongs>I have <strongs number="935">brought</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="3651">so</strongs>will <strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>them <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="2896">good</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs>have <strongs number="1696 5921">promised</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='43'>And <strongs number="7704">fields</strongs>shall be <strongs number="7069">bought</strongs>in <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whereof</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">It</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="8077">desolate</strongs><strongs number="4480 369">without</strongs><strongs number="120">man</strongs>or <strongs number="929">beast</strongs>; it is <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="3778">Chaldeans</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='44'>Men shall <strongs number="7069">buy</strongs><strongs number="7704">fields</strongs>for <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>, and <strongs number="3789">subscribe</strongs><strongs number="5612">evidences</strongs>, and <strongs number="2856">seal</strongs><em> them </em>, and <strongs number="5749">take</strongs><strongs number="5707">witnesses</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="1144">Benjamin</strongs>, and in the places <strongs number="5439">about</strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of the <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of the <strongs number="8219">valley</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of the <strongs number="5045">south</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I will cause <strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="7622">captivity</strongs>to <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
