      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>and <strongs number="7069">get</strongs>a <strongs number="3335">potter</strongs>'s <strongs number="2789">earthen</strongs><strongs number="1228">bottle</strongs>, and <em> take </em>of the <strongs number="4480 2205">ancients</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and of the <strongs number="4480 2205">ancients</strongs>of the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And go <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="1516">valley</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2011">Hinnom</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> is </em>by the <strongs number="6607">entry</strongs>of the <strongs number="2777">east</strongs><strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">proclaim</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I shall <strongs number="1696 413">tell</strongs>thee, </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>ye the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, O <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>; <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, the <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="3605">whosoever</strongs><strongs number="8085">heareth</strongs>, his <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>shall <strongs number="6750">tingle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="3282 834">Because</strongs>they have <strongs number="5800">forsaken</strongs>me, and have <strongs number="5234">estranged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, and have burned <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>in it unto <strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whom</strongs><strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs>nor their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>have <strongs number="3045">known</strongs>, nor the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and have <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>with the <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>of <strongs number="5355">innocents</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='5'>They have <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>also <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the high <strongs number="1116">places</strongs>of <strongs number="1168">Baal</strongs>, to <strongs number="8313">burn</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>with <strongs number="784">fire</strongs><em> for </em>burnt <strongs number="5930">offerings</strongs>unto <strongs number="1168">Baal</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><em> it </em>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="5927">came</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5921">into</strongs>my <strongs number="3820">mind</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, that <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5750">more</strongs>be <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="8612">Tophet</strongs>, nor The <strongs number="1516">valley</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2011">Hinnom</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>The <strongs number="1516">valley</strongs>of <strongs number="2028">slaughter</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And I will make <strongs number="1238">void</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6098">counsel</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>and <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>; and I will cause them to <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>their <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>, and by the <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>of them that <strongs number="1245">seek</strongs>their <strongs number="5315">lives</strongs>: and <strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="5038">carcasses</strongs>will I <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>to be <strongs number="3978">meat</strongs>for the <strongs number="5775">fowls</strongs>of the <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>, and for the <strongs number="929">beasts</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And I will <strongs number="7760">make</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs><strongs number="8047">desolate</strongs>, and a <strongs number="8322">hissing</strongs>; every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs>that <strongs number="5674">passeth</strongs><strongs number="5921">thereby</strongs>shall be <strongs number="8074">astonished</strongs>and <strongs number="8319">hiss</strongs><strongs number="5921">because</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4347">plagues</strongs>thereof. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And I will cause them to <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>of their <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and the <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>of their <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>, and they shall <strongs number="398">eat</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs>the <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>of his <strongs number="7453">friend</strongs>in the <strongs number="4692">siege</strongs>and <strongs number="4689">straitness</strongs>, <strongs number="834">wherewith</strongs>their <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>, and they that <strongs number="1245">seek</strongs>their <strongs number="5315">lives</strongs>, shall <strongs number="6693">straiten</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>Then shalt thou <strongs number="7665">break</strongs>the <strongs number="1228">bottle</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>that <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>thee, </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And shalt <strongs number="559">say</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; Even <strongs number="3602">so</strongs>will I <strongs number="7665">break</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>and <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs><em> one </em><strongs number="7665">breaketh</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="3335">potter</strongs>'s <strongs number="3627">vessel</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="3201 3808">cannot</strongs>be made <strongs number="7495">whole</strongs><strongs number="5750">again</strongs>: and they shall <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs><em> them </em>in <strongs number="8612">Tophet</strongs>, till <em> there </em><em> be </em><strongs number="4480 369">no</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>to <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="3651">Thus</strongs>will I <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>unto <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and to the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>thereof, and <em> even </em><strongs number="5414">make</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>as <strongs number="8612">Tophet</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And the <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="2931">defiled</strongs>as the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>of <strongs number="8612">Tophet</strongs>, because of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="1406">roofs</strongs>they have burned <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>unto <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6635">host</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>, and have poured <strongs number="5258">out</strongs>drink <strongs number="5262">offerings</strongs>unto <strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Then <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8612">Tophet</strongs>, <strongs number="834 8033">whither</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>him to <strongs number="5012">prophesy</strongs>; and he <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>in the <strongs number="2691">court</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>; and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>her <strongs number="5892">towns</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="1696">pronounced</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>it, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>they have <strongs number="7185">hardened</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="6203">necks</strongs>, that they might <strongs number="1115">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>. </verse>
