      <verse number='1'>Yet <strongs number="6258">now</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>, O <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>my <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>; and <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, whom I have <strongs number="977">chosen</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>that <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>thee, and <strongs number="3335">formed</strongs>thee from the <strongs number="4480 990">womb</strongs>, <em> which </em>will <strongs number="5826">help</strongs>thee; <strongs number="3372">Fear</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>, O <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, my <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>; and thou, <strongs number="3484">Jesurun</strongs>, whom I have <strongs number="977">chosen</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>I will <strongs number="3332">pour</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>him that is <strongs number="6771">thirsty</strongs>, and <strongs number="5140">floods</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the dry <strongs number="3004">ground</strongs>: I will <strongs number="3332">pour</strongs>my <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thy <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>, and my <strongs number="1293">blessing</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thine <strongs number="6631">offspring</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And they shall spring <strongs number="6779">up</strongs><em> as </em><strongs number="996">among</strongs>the <strongs number="2682">grass</strongs>, as <strongs number="6155">willows</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>the <strongs number="4325">water</strongs><strongs number="2988">courses</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="2088">One</strongs>shall <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s; and <strongs number="2088">another</strongs>shall <strongs number="7121">call</strongs><em> himself </em>by the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>; and <strongs number="2088">another</strongs>shall <strongs number="3789">subscribe</strongs><em> with </em>his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="3655">surname</strongs><em> himself </em>by the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">King</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and his <strongs number="1350">redeemer</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; <strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="7223">first</strongs>, and <strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="314">last</strongs>; and <strongs number="4480 1107">beside</strongs>me <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="4310">who</strongs>, as I, shall <strongs number="7121">call</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="5046">declare</strongs>it, and set it in <strongs number="6186">order</strongs>for me, since I <strongs number="4480 7760">appointed</strongs>the <strongs number="5769">ancient</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>? and the things that are <strongs number="857">coming</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="935">come</strongs>, let them <strongs number="5046">show</strongs>unto them. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="6342">Fear</strongs>ye <strongs number="408">not</strongs>, <strongs number="408">neither</strongs>be <strongs number="7297">afraid</strongs>: have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>I <strongs number="8085">told</strongs>thee from that <strongs number="4480 227">time</strongs>, and have <strongs number="5046">declared</strongs><em> it </em>? <strongs number="859">ye</strongs><em> are </em>even my <strongs number="5707">witnesses</strongs>. Is <strongs number="3426">there</strongs>a <strongs number="433">God</strongs><strongs number="4480 1107">beside</strongs>me? yea, <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="6697">God</strongs>; I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="1077">not</strongs><em> any </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>They that <strongs number="3335">make</strongs>a graven <strongs number="6459">image</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>of them <strongs number="8414">vanity</strongs>; and their delectable <strongs number="2530">things</strongs>shall <strongs number="1077">not</strongs><strongs number="3276">profit</strongs>; and <strongs number="1992">they</strongs><em> are </em>their own <strongs number="5707">witnesses</strongs>; they <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="1077">not</strongs>, <strongs number="1077">nor</strongs><strongs number="3045">know</strongs>; <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>they may be <strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="4310">Who</strongs>hath <strongs number="3335">formed</strongs>a <strongs number="410">god</strongs>, or <strongs number="5258">molten</strongs>a graven <strongs number="6459">image</strongs><em> that </em>is <strongs number="3276">profitable</strongs>for <strongs number="1115">nothing</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="2005">Behold</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="2270">fellows</strongs>shall be <strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs>: and the <strongs number="2796">workmen</strongs>, <strongs number="1992">they</strongs><em> are </em>of <strongs number="4480 120">men</strongs>: let them <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>be gathered <strongs number="6908">together</strongs>, let them stand <strongs number="5975">up</strongs>; <em> yet </em>they shall <strongs number="6342">fear</strongs>, <em> and </em>they shall be <strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs><strongs number="3162">together</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>The <strongs number="2796 1270">blacksmith</strongs>with the <strongs number="4621">tongs</strongs>both <strongs number="6466">worketh</strongs>in the <strongs number="6352">coals</strongs>, and <strongs number="3335">fashioneth</strongs>it with <strongs number="4717">hammers</strongs>, and <strongs number="6466">worketh</strongs>it with the <strongs number="3581">strength</strongs>of his <strongs number="2220">arms</strongs>: <strongs number="1571">yea</strongs>, he is <strongs number="7456">hungry</strongs>, and his <strongs number="3581">strength</strongs><strongs number="369">faileth</strongs>: he <strongs number="8354">drinketh</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, and is <strongs number="3286">faint</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>The <strongs number="2796 6086">carpenter</strongs>stretcheth <strongs number="5186">out</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="6957">rule</strongs>; he marketh it <strongs number="8388">out</strongs>with a <strongs number="8279">line</strongs>; he <strongs number="6213">fitteth</strongs>it with <strongs number="4741">planes</strongs>, and he marketh it <strongs number="8388">out</strongs>with the <strongs number="4230">compass</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">maketh</strongs>it after the <strongs number="8403">figure</strongs>of a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="8597">beauty</strongs>of a <strongs number="120">man</strongs>; that it may <strongs number="3427">remain</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>He heweth him <strongs number="3772">down</strongs><strongs number="730">cedars</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">taketh</strongs>the <strongs number="8645">cypress</strongs>and the <strongs number="437">oak</strongs>, which he <strongs number="553">strengtheneth</strongs>for himself among the <strongs number="6086">trees</strongs>of the <strongs number="3293">forest</strongs>: he <strongs number="5193">planteth</strongs>an <strongs number="766">ash</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1653">rain</strongs>doth <strongs number="1431">nourish</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>

      <verse number='18'>They have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3045">known</strongs><strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="995">understood</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he hath <strongs number="2902">shut</strongs>their <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, that they cannot <strongs number="4480 7200">see</strongs>; <em> and </em>their <strongs number="3820">hearts</strongs>, that they cannot <strongs number="4480 7919">understand</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='22'>I have blotted <strongs number="4229">out</strongs>, as a thick <strongs number="5645">cloud</strongs>, thy <strongs number="6588">transgressions</strongs>, and, as a <strongs number="6051">cloud</strongs>, thy <strongs number="2403">sins</strongs>: <strongs number="7725">return</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I have <strongs number="1350">redeemed</strongs>thee. </verse>
