      <verse number='1'>The <strongs number="4853">burden</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="531">Amoz</strongs>did <strongs number="2372">see</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Lift ye <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>a <strongs number="5251">banner</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="8192">high</strongs><strongs number="2022">mountain</strongs>, <strongs number="7311">exalt</strongs>the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>unto them, <strongs number="5130">shake</strongs>the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, that they may <strongs number="935">go</strongs>into the <strongs number="6607">gates</strongs>of the <strongs number="5081">nobles</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="589">I</strongs>have <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>my sanctified <strongs number="6942">ones</strongs>, I have <strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs>my mighty <strongs number="1368">ones</strongs>for mine <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, <em> even </em>them that <strongs number="5947">rejoice</strongs>in my <strongs number="1346">highness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>The <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of a <strongs number="1995">multitude</strongs>in the <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>, <strongs number="1823">like</strongs>as of a <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>; a <strongs number="7588">tumultuous</strongs><strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of the <strongs number="4467">kingdoms</strongs>of <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>gathered <strongs number="622">together</strongs>: the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs><strongs number="6485">mustereth</strongs>the <strongs number="6635">host</strongs>of the <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>They <strongs number="935">come</strongs>from a far <strongs number="4480 4801 776">country</strongs>, from the <strongs number="4480 7097">end</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3627">weapons</strongs>of his <strongs number="2195">indignation</strongs>, to <strongs number="2254">destroy</strongs>the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3213">Howl</strongs>ye; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> is </em>at <strongs number="7138">hand</strongs>; it shall <strongs number="935">come</strongs>as a <strongs number="7701">destruction</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 7706">Almighty</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="5921 3651">Therefore</strongs>shall <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>be <strongs number="7503">faint</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="582">man</strongs>'s <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>shall <strongs number="4549">melt</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And they shall be <strongs number="926">afraid</strongs>: <strongs number="6735">pangs</strongs>and <strongs number="2256">sorrows</strongs>shall take <strongs number="270">hold</strongs>of them; they shall be in <strongs number="2342">pain</strongs>as a woman that <strongs number="3205">travaileth</strongs>: they shall be <strongs number="8539">amazed</strongs><strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="413">at</strongs><strongs number="7453">another</strongs>; their <strongs number="6440">faces</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em><em> as </em><strongs number="6440 3851">flames</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="935">cometh</strongs>, <strongs number="394">cruel</strongs>both with <strongs number="5678">wrath</strongs>and <strongs number="2740">fierce</strongs><strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, to <strongs number="7760">lay</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="8047">desolate</strongs>: and he shall <strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs>the <strongs number="2400">sinners</strongs>thereof out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="3556">stars</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>and the <strongs number="3685">constellations</strongs>thereof shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1984">give</strongs>their <strongs number="216">light</strongs>: the <strongs number="8121">sun</strongs>shall be <strongs number="2821">darkened</strongs>in his going <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3394">moon</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>cause her <strongs number="216">light</strongs>to <strongs number="5050">shine</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And I will <strongs number="6485">punish</strongs>the <strongs number="8398">world</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs><em> their </em><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>, and the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>their <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>; and I will cause the <strongs number="1347">arrogance</strongs>of the <strongs number="2086">proud</strongs>to <strongs number="7673">cease</strongs>, and will lay <strongs number="8213">low</strongs>the <strongs number="1346">haughtiness</strongs>of the <strongs number="6184">terrible</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>I will make a <strongs number="582">man</strongs>more <strongs number="3365">precious</strongs>than fine <strongs number="4480 6337">gold</strongs>; even a <strongs number="120">man</strongs>than the golden <strongs number="4480 3800">wedge</strongs>of <strongs number="211">Ophir</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="5921 3651">Therefore</strongs>I will <strongs number="7264">shake</strongs>the <strongs number="8064">heavens</strongs>, and the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>shall <strongs number="7493">remove</strongs>out of her <strongs number="4480 4725">place</strongs>, in the <strongs number="5678">wrath</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of his <strongs number="2740">fierce</strongs><strongs number="639">anger</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as the <strongs number="5080">chased</strongs><strongs number="6643">roe</strongs>, and as a <strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs>that <strongs number="369">no</strongs>man taketh <strongs number="6908">up</strongs>: they shall every <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="6437">turn</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>his own <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and <strongs number="5127">flee</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>his own <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>Every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs>that is <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>shall be thrust <strongs number="1856">through</strongs>; and every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs>that is <strongs number="5595">joined</strongs><em> unto </em><em> them </em>shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Their <strongs number="5768">children</strongs>also shall be <strongs number="7376">dashed</strongs>to pieces before their <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>; their <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs>shall be <strongs number="8155">spoiled</strongs>, and their <strongs number="802">wives</strongs><strongs number="7693">ravished</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will stir <strongs number="5782">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4074">Medes</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>them, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2803">regard</strongs><strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>; and <em> as </em><em> for </em><strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2654">delight</strongs>in it. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><em> Their </em><strongs number="7198">bows</strongs>also shall <strongs number="7376">dash</strongs>the young <strongs number="5288">men</strongs>to pieces; and they shall have <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="7355">pity</strongs>on the <strongs number="6529">fruit</strongs>of the <strongs number="990">womb</strongs>; their <strongs number="5869">eye</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2347 5921">spare</strongs><strongs number="1121">children</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>, the <strongs number="6643">glory</strongs>of <strongs number="4467">kingdoms</strongs>, the <strongs number="8597">beauty</strongs>of the <strongs number="3778">Chaldees</strongs>' <strongs number="1347">excellency</strongs>, shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as when <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="4114">overthrew</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="5467">Sodom</strongs>and <strongs number="6017">Gomorrah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>It shall <strongs number="3808 5331">never</strongs>be <strongs number="3427">inhabited</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall it be <strongs number="7931">dwelt</strongs>in from <strongs number="1755">generation</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs><strongs number="1755">generation</strongs>: <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall the <strongs number="6163">Arabian</strongs>pitch <strongs number="167">tent</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>; <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall the <strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs>make their <strongs number="7257">fold</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>But wild beasts of the <strongs number="6728">desert</strongs>shall <strongs number="7257">lie</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>; and their <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4390">full</strongs>of doleful <strongs number="255">creatures</strongs>; and <strongs number="1323 3284">owls</strongs>shall <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>, and <strongs number="8163">satyrs</strongs>shall <strongs number="7540">dance</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And the wild beasts of the <strongs number="338">islands</strongs>shall <strongs number="6030">cry</strongs>in their desolate <strongs number="490">houses</strongs>, and <strongs number="8577">dragons</strongs>in <em> their </em><strongs number="6027">pleasant</strongs><strongs number="1964">palaces</strongs>: and her <strongs number="6256">time</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="7138">near</strongs>to <strongs number="935">come</strongs>, and her <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="4900">prolonged</strongs>. </verse>
