      <verse number='1'>The <strongs number="4633">preparations</strongs>of the <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>in <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4617">answer</strongs>of the <strongs number="3956">tongue</strongs>, <em> is </em>from the <strongs number="4480 3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3605">All</strongs>the <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>of a <strongs number="376">man</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="2134">clean</strongs>in his own <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>; but the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="8505">weigheth</strongs>the <strongs number="7307">spirits</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1556">Commit</strongs>thy <strongs number="4639">works</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="4284">thoughts</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3559">established</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="6466">made</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><em> things </em>for <strongs number="4617">himself</strongs>: yea, <strongs number="1571">even</strongs>the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>for the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs><em> that </em><em> is </em><strongs number="1362">proud</strongs>in <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs><em> is </em>an <strongs number="8441">abomination</strongs>to the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: <em> though </em><strongs number="3027">hand</strongs><em> join </em>in <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, he shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="5352">unpunished</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>By <strongs number="2617">mercy</strongs>and <strongs number="571">truth</strongs><strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>is <strongs number="3722">purged</strongs>: and by the <strongs number="3374">fear</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> men </em><strongs number="5493">depart</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 7451">evil</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>When a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>'s <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs><strongs number="7521">please</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, he maketh <strongs number="1571">even</strongs>his <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>to be at <strongs number="7999">peace</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="2896">Better</strongs><em> is </em>a <strongs number="4592">little</strongs>with <strongs number="6666">righteousness</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 7230">great</strongs><strongs number="8393">revenues</strongs><strongs number="3808">without</strongs><strongs number="4941">right</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>A <strongs number="120">man</strongs>'s <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs><strongs number="2803">deviseth</strongs>his <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>: but the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3559">directeth</strongs>his <strongs number="6806">steps</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='12'><em> It </em><em> is </em>an <strongs number="8441">abomination</strongs>to <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">commit</strongs><strongs number="7562">wickedness</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>is <strongs number="3559">established</strongs>by <strongs number="6666">righteousness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="6664">Righteous</strongs><strongs number="8193">lips</strongs><em> are </em>the <strongs number="7522">delight</strongs>of <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>; and they <strongs number="157">love</strongs>him that <strongs number="1696">speaketh</strongs><strongs number="3477">right</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>The <strongs number="2534">wrath</strongs>of a <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><em> is </em><em> as </em><strongs number="4397">messengers</strongs>of <strongs number="4194">death</strongs>: but a <strongs number="2450">wise</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>will <strongs number="3722">pacify</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>In the <strongs number="216">light</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="6440">countenance</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2416">life</strongs>; and his <strongs number="7522">favor</strongs><em> is </em>as a <strongs number="5645">cloud</strongs>of the latter <strongs number="4456">rain</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>How <strongs number="4100">much</strongs><strongs number="2896">better</strongs><em> is </em><em> it </em>to <strongs number="7069">get</strongs><strongs number="2451">wisdom</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 2742">gold</strongs>! and to <strongs number="7069">get</strongs><strongs number="998">understanding</strongs>rather to be <strongs number="977">chosen</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 3701">silver</strongs>! </verse>
      <verse number='17'>The <strongs number="4546">highway</strongs>of the <strongs number="3477">upright</strongs><em> is </em>to <strongs number="5493">depart</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 7451">evil</strongs>: he that <strongs number="5341">keepeth</strongs>his <strongs number="1870">way</strongs><strongs number="8104">preserveth</strongs>his <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="1347">Pride</strongs><em> goeth </em><strongs number="6440">before</strongs><strongs number="7667">destruction</strongs>, and a <strongs number="1363">haughty</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>a <strongs number="3783">fall</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'><strongs number="2896">Better</strongs><em> it </em><em> is </em><em> to </em><em> be </em>of a <strongs number="8217">humble</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>the <strongs number="6035">lowly</strongs>, than to <strongs number="4480 2505">divide</strongs>the <strongs number="7998">spoil</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>the <strongs number="1343">proud</strongs>. </verse>
