      <verse number='1'>Now <strongs number="428">these</strongs><em> are </em>the <strongs number="4941">judgments</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="7760">set</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs>thou <strongs number="7069">buy</strongs>a <strongs number="5680">Hebrew</strongs><strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>, <strongs number="8337">six</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>he shall <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>: and in the <strongs number="7637">seventh</strongs>he shall go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="2670">free</strongs>for <strongs number="2600">nothing</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>he came <strongs number="935">in</strongs>by <strongs number="1610">himself</strongs>, he shall go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>by <strongs number="1610">himself</strongs>: <strongs number="518">if</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs>were <strongs number="1167 802">married</strongs>, then his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>shall go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>his <strongs number="113">master</strongs>have <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>him a <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, and she have <strongs number="3205">born</strongs>him <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs><strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>; the <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>and her <strongs number="3206">children</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>her <strongs number="113">master</strongs>'s, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>shall go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>by <strongs number="1610">himself</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="518">if</strongs>the <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>shall plainly <strongs number="559 559">say</strongs>, I <strongs number="157">love</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="113">master</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, and my <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>; I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="2670">free</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Then his <strongs number="113">master</strongs>shall <strongs number="5066">bring</strongs>him <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="430">judges</strongs>; he shall also <strongs number="5066">bring</strongs>him <strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="1817">door</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the door <strongs number="4201">post</strongs>; and his <strongs number="113">master</strongs>shall bore his ear <strongs number="7527 *853 241">through</strongs>with an <strongs number="4836">awl</strongs>; and he shall <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>him <strongs number="5769">forever</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="3588">if</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="4376">sell</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>to be a <strongs number="519">maidservant</strongs>, she shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>as the <strongs number="5650">menservants</strongs><strongs number="3318">do</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>she please <strongs number="7451 5869">not</strongs>her <strongs number="113">master</strongs>, <strongs number="834">who</strongs>hath <strongs number="*3808 3259">betrothed</strongs>her to himself, then shall he let her be <strongs number="6299">redeemed</strongs>: to <strongs number="4376">sell</strongs>her unto a <strongs number="5237">strange</strongs><strongs number="5971">nation</strongs>he shall have <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="4910">power</strongs>, seeing he hath dealt <strongs number="898">deceitfully</strongs>with her. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="518">if</strongs>he have <strongs number="3259">betrothed</strongs>her unto his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, he shall <strongs number="6213">deal</strongs>with her after the <strongs number="4941">manner</strongs>of <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>he <strongs number="3947">take</strongs>him <strongs number="312">another</strongs><em> wife </em>; her <strongs number="7607">food</strongs>, her <strongs number="3682">raiment</strongs>, and her duty of <strongs number="5772">marriage</strongs>, shall he <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1639">diminish</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="518">if</strongs>he <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs>unto her, then shall she go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="2600">free</strongs><strongs number="369">without</strongs><strongs number="3701">money</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>He that <strongs number="5221">smiteth</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>, so that he <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>, shall be surely put to <strongs number="4191 4191">death</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="834">if</strongs>a man lie not in <strongs number="6658 3808">wait</strongs>, but <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="579">deliver</strongs><em> him </em>into his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>; then I will <strongs number="7760">appoint</strongs>thee a <strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="834 8033">whither</strongs>he shall <strongs number="5127">flee</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>But <strongs number="3588">if</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>come <strongs number="2102">presumptuously</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="7453">neighbor</strongs>, to <strongs number="2026">slay</strongs>him with <strongs number="6195">guile</strongs>; thou shalt <strongs number="3947">take</strongs>him <strongs number="4480 5973">from</strongs>mine <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>, that he may <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And he that <strongs number="5221">smiteth</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, or his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>, shall be surely put to <strongs number="4191 4191">death</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And he that <strongs number="1589">stealeth</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>, and <strongs number="4376">selleth</strongs>him, or if he be <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>in his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, he shall surely be put to <strongs number="4191 4191">death</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And he that <strongs number="7043">curseth</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, or his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>, shall surely be put to <strongs number="4191 4191">death</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="3588">if</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>strive <strongs number="7378">together</strongs>, and <strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="5221">smite</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="7453">another</strongs>with a <strongs number="68">stone</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>with <em> his </em><strongs number="106">fist</strongs>, and he <strongs number="4191">die</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, but <strongs number="5307">keepeth</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="4904">bed</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='19'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>he rise <strongs number="6965">again</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs><strongs number="2351">abroad</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="4938">staff</strongs>, then shall he that <strongs number="5221">smote</strongs><em> him </em>be <strongs number="5352">quit</strongs>: <strongs number="7535">only</strongs>he shall <strongs number="5414">pay</strongs><em> for </em>the loss of his <strongs number="7674">time</strongs>, and shall cause <em> him </em>to be thoroughly <strongs number="7495 7495">healed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And <strongs number="3588">if</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="5221">smite</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="519">maid</strongs>, with a <strongs number="7626">rod</strongs>, and he <strongs number="4191">die</strongs><strongs number="8478">under</strongs>his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>; he shall be surely <strongs number="5358 5358">punished</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'><strongs number="389">Notwithstanding</strongs>, <strongs number="518">if</strongs>he <strongs number="5975">continue</strongs>a <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="3117">two</strongs>, he shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="5358">punished</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> is </em>his <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs><strongs number="5327">strive</strongs>, and <strongs number="5062">hurt</strongs>a <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>with <strongs number="2030">child</strongs>, so that her <strongs number="3206">fruit</strongs><strongs number="3318">depart</strongs><em> from </em><em> her </em>, and yet <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="611">mischief</strongs><strongs number="1961">follow</strongs>: he shall be surely <strongs number="6064 6064">punished</strongs>, according <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>'s <strongs number="1167">husband</strongs>will <strongs number="7896">lay</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>him; and he shall <strongs number="5414">pay</strongs>as the <strongs number="6414">judges</strongs><em> determine </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>And <strongs number="518">if</strongs><em> any </em><strongs number="611">mischief</strongs><strongs number="1961">follow</strongs>, then thou shalt <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><strongs number="5315">life</strongs><strongs number="8478">for</strongs><strongs number="5315">life</strongs>, </verse>

      <verse number='26'>And <strongs number="3588">if</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="5221">smite</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5869">eye</strongs>of his <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5869">eye</strongs>of his <strongs number="519">maid</strongs>, that it <strongs number="7843">perish</strongs>; he shall let him <strongs number="7971">go</strongs><strongs number="2670">free</strongs>for his eye's <strongs number="8478 5869">sake</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>And <strongs number="518">if</strongs>he smite <strongs number="5307">out</strongs>his <strongs number="5650">manservant</strongs>'s <strongs number="8127">tooth</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>his <strongs number="519">maidservant</strongs>'s <strongs number="8127">tooth</strongs>; he shall let him <strongs number="7971">go</strongs><strongs number="2670">free</strongs>for his tooth's <strongs number="8478 8127">sake</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='28'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs>an <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs><strongs number="5055">gore</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>, that they <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>: then the <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs>shall be surely <strongs number="5619 5619">stoned</strongs>, and <strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="398">eaten</strongs>; but the <strongs number="1167">owner</strongs>of the <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="5355">quit</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='29'>But <strongs number="518">if</strongs>the <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs>were wont to push with his <strongs number="5056">horn</strongs>in time <strongs number="4480 8543 8032">past</strongs>, and it hath been <strongs number="5749">testified</strongs>to his <strongs number="1167">owner</strongs>, and he hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>kept him <strongs number="8104">in</strongs>, but that he hath <strongs number="4191">killed</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="176">or</strongs>a <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>; the <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs>shall be <strongs number="5619">stoned</strongs>, and his <strongs number="1167">owner</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>shall be put to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='30'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>there be <strongs number="7896">laid</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>him a sum of <strongs number="3724">money</strongs>, then he shall <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>for the <strongs number="6306">ransom</strongs>of his <strongs number="5315">life</strongs><strongs number="3605 834">whatsoever</strongs>is <strongs number="7896">laid</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='31'><strongs number="176">Whether</strongs>he have <strongs number="5055">gored</strongs>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>have <strongs number="5055">gored</strongs>a <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>, according to <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs>shall it be <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>unto him. </verse>
      <verse number='32'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>the <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs>shall <strongs number="5055">push</strongs>a <strongs number="5650">manservant</strongs><strongs number="176">or</strongs>a <strongs number="519">maidservant</strongs>; he shall <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>unto their <strongs number="113">master</strongs><strongs number="7970">thirty</strongs><strongs number="8255">shekels</strongs>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and the <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs>shall be <strongs number="5619">stoned</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='33'>And <strongs number="3588">if</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>shall <strongs number="6605">open</strongs>a <strongs number="953">pit</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="3588">if</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>shall <strongs number="3738">dig</strongs>a <strongs number="953">pit</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3680">cover</strongs>it, and an <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs><strongs number="176">or</strongs>an <strongs number="2543">ass</strongs><strongs number="5307">fall</strongs><strongs number="8033">therein</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='34'>The <strongs number="1167">owner</strongs>of the <strongs number="953">pit</strongs>shall make <em> it </em><strongs number="7999">good</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="7725">give</strongs><strongs number="3701">money</strongs>unto the <strongs number="1167">owner</strongs>of them; and the <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs><em> beast </em>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>his. </verse>
