      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>separated <strongs number="914">themselves</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs><strongs number="1121 5236">strangers</strongs>, and <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>and <strongs number="3034 5921">confessed</strongs>their <strongs number="2403">sins</strongs>, and the <strongs number="5771">iniquities</strongs>of their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='33'>Howbeit <strongs number="859">thou</strongs><em> art </em><strongs number="6662">just</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that is <strongs number="935">brought</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>us; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="6213">done</strongs><strongs number="571">right</strongs>, but <strongs number="587">we</strongs>have done <strongs number="7561">wickedly</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='34'>Neither have our <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>, our <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>, our <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs>our <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, <strongs number="6213">kept</strongs>thy <strongs number="8451">law</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="7181">hearkened</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thy <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs>and thy <strongs number="5715">testimonies</strongs>, <strongs number="834">wherewith</strongs>thou didst <strongs number="5749">testify</strongs>against them. </verse>
      <verse number='35'>For <strongs number="1992">they</strongs>have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5647">served</strongs>thee in their <strongs number="4438">kingdom</strongs>, and in thy <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="2898">goodness</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>thou <strongs number="5414">gavest</strongs>them, and in the <strongs number="7342">large</strongs>and <strongs number="8082">fat</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou <strongs number="5414">gavest</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>them, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="7725">turned</strongs>they from their <strongs number="7451">wicked</strongs><strongs number="4480 4611">works</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='36'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, <strongs number="587">we</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, and <em> for </em>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>thou <strongs number="5414">gavest</strongs>unto our <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>to <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6529">fruit</strongs>thereof and the <strongs number="2898">good</strongs>thereof, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <strongs number="587">we</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5650">servants</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>it: </verse>
      <verse number='37'>And it yieldeth <strongs number="7235">much</strongs><strongs number="8393">increase</strongs>unto the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="5414">set</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>us because of our <strongs number="2403">sins</strongs>: also they have <strongs number="4910">dominion</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>our <strongs number="1472">bodies</strongs>, and over our <strongs number="929">cattle</strongs>, at their <strongs number="7522">pleasure</strongs>, and <strongs number="587">we</strongs><em> are </em>in <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="6869">distress</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='38'>And because of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="587">we</strongs><strongs number="3772">make</strongs>a <strongs number="548">sure</strongs><em> covenant </em>, and <strongs number="3789">write</strongs><em> it </em>; and our <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>, <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>, <strongs number="2856 5921">seal</strongs><em> unto </em><em> it </em>. </verse>
