      <verse number='2'>And he <strongs number="5975">set</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>their <strongs number="4931">charges</strongs>, and <strongs number="2388">encouraged</strongs>them to the <strongs number="5656">service</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, </verse>

      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs>in the <strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><em> place </em>according to the <strongs number="6391">divisions</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">families</strongs>of the <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>of your <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>the <strongs number="1121 5971">people</strongs>, and <em> after </em>the <strongs number="2515">division</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004 1">families</strongs>of the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>So <strongs number="7819">kill</strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>, and sanctify <strongs number="6942">yourselves</strongs>, and <strongs number="3559">prepare</strongs>your <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, that <em> they </em>may <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>according to the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>by the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs><strongs number="7311">gave</strongs>to the <strongs number="1121 5971">people</strongs>, of the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>, <strongs number="3532">lambs</strongs>and <strongs number="1121 5795">kids</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>for the passover <strongs number="6453">offerings</strongs>, for <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that were <strongs number="4672">present</strongs>, to the <strongs number="4557">number</strongs>of <strongs number="7970">thirty</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>, and <strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="1241">bullocks</strongs>: <strongs number="428">these</strongs><em> were </em>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="4480 7399">substance</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='9'><strongs number="3562">Conaniah</strongs>also, and <strongs number="8098">Shemaiah</strongs>and <strongs number="5417">Nethaneel</strongs>, his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and <strongs number="2811">Hashabiah</strongs>and <strongs number="3273">Jeiel</strongs>and <strongs number="3107">Jozabad</strongs>, <strongs number="8269">chief</strongs>of the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>, <strongs number="7311">gave</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>for passover <strongs number="6453">offerings</strongs><strongs number="2568">five</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><em> small </em><em> cattle </em>, and <strongs number="2568">five</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="1241">oxen</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>So the <strongs number="5656">service</strongs>was <strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>their <strongs number="5977">place</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>their <strongs number="4256">courses</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="4687">commandment</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And they <strongs number="7819">killed</strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="2236">sprinkled</strongs><em> the </em><em> blood </em>from their <strongs number="4480 3027">hands</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs><strongs number="6584">flayed</strongs><em> them </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And they <strongs number="5493">removed</strongs>the burnt <strongs number="5930">offerings</strongs>, that they might <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>according to the <strongs number="4653">divisions</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004 1">families</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121 5971">people</strongs>, to <strongs number="7126">offer</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, as <em> it </em><em> is </em><strongs number="3789">written</strongs>in the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>. And <strongs number="3651">so</strongs><em> did </em><em> they </em>with the <strongs number="1241">oxen</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And they <strongs number="1310">roasted</strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>with <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>according to the <strongs number="4941">ordinance</strongs>: but the <em> other </em><strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><em> offerings </em><strongs number="1310">sod</strongs>they in <strongs number="5518">pots</strongs>, and in <strongs number="1731">caldrons</strongs>, and in <strongs number="6745">pans</strongs>, and divided <em> them </em><strongs number="7323">speedily</strongs>among <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1121 5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="310">afterward</strongs>they made <strongs number="3559">ready</strongs>for themselves, and for the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs><em> were </em><em> busied </em>in <strongs number="5927">offering</strongs>of burnt <strongs number="5930">offerings</strongs>and the <strongs number="2459">fat</strongs><strongs number="5704">until</strongs><strongs number="3915">night</strongs>; therefore the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs><strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs>for themselves, and for the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And the <strongs number="7891">singers</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="623">Asaph</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>their <strongs number="4612">place</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="4687">commandment</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, and <strongs number="623">Asaph</strongs>, and <strongs number="1968">Heman</strongs>, and <strongs number="3038">Jeduthun</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="2374">seer</strongs>; and the <strongs number="7778">porters</strongs><em> waited </em>at every <strongs number="8179 8179">gate</strongs>; they might <strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="5493">depart</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>their <strongs number="5656">service</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>their <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs><strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs>for them. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>So <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5656">service</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>was <strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs>the <strongs number="1931">same</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, to <strongs number="6213">keep</strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>, and to <strongs number="5927">offer</strongs>burnt <strongs number="5930">offerings</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="4687">commandment</strongs>of <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>that were <strongs number="4672">present</strongs><strongs number="6213">kept</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>at <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2282">feast</strongs>of unleavened <strongs number="4682">bread</strongs><strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='19'>In the <strongs number="8083 6240">eighteenth</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of the <strongs number="4438">reign</strongs>of <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>was <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="6453">passover</strongs><strongs number="6213">kept</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'><strongs number="310">After</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs>, <strongs number="834">when</strongs><strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>had <strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">temple</strongs>, <strongs number="5224">Necho</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>came <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>to <strongs number="3898">fight</strongs>against <strongs number="3751">Carchemish</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs><strongs number="6578">Euphrates</strongs>: and <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="7125">against</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>But he <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="4397">ambassadors</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs>have I to do with thee, thou <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>? <em> I </em><em> come </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="859">thee</strongs>this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">but</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>wherewith I have <strongs number="4421">war</strongs>: for <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="559">commanded</strongs>me to make <strongs number="926">haste</strongs>: <strongs number="2308">forbear</strongs>thee from <em> meddling with </em><strongs number="4480 430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="834">who</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>me, that he <strongs number="7843">destroy</strongs>thee <strongs number="408">not</strongs>. </verse>
