      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3147">Jotham</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs>and <strongs number="2568">five</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs>when he began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>, and he <strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs><strongs number="8337 6240">sixteen</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. His <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>'s <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>also <em> was </em><strongs number="3388">Jerushah</strongs>, the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="6659">Zadok</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And he <strongs number="6213">did</strongs><em> that </em><em> which </em><em> was </em><strongs number="3477">right</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs><strongs number="5818">Uzziah</strongs><strongs number="6213">did</strongs>: <strongs number="7535">howbeit</strongs>he <strongs number="935">entered</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="1964">temple</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. And the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>did yet <strongs number="7843 5750">corruptly</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1931">He</strongs><strongs number="1129">built</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5945">high</strongs><strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and on the <strongs number="2346">wall</strongs>of <strongs number="6077">Ophel</strongs>he <strongs number="1129">built</strongs><strongs number="7230">much</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Moreover he <strongs number="1129">built</strongs><strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>in the <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="2793">forests</strongs>he <strongs number="1129">built</strongs><strongs number="1003">castles</strongs>and <strongs number="4026">towers</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="1931">He</strongs><strongs number="3898">fought</strongs>also <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121 5983">Ammonites</strongs>, and <strongs number="2388">prevailed</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>them. And the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="5983">Ammon</strongs><strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>him the <strongs number="1931">same</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="3603">talents</strongs>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and <strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="3734">measures</strongs>of <strongs number="2406">wheat</strongs>, and <strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>of <strongs number="8184">barley</strongs>. So <strongs number="2063">much</strongs>did the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="5983">Ammon</strongs><strongs number="7725">pay</strongs>unto him, both the <strongs number="8145">second</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>, and the <strongs number="7992">third</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>So <strongs number="3147">Jotham</strongs>became <strongs number="2388">mighty</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>he <strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs>his <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>his <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Now the <strongs number="3499">rest</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697">acts</strongs>of <strongs number="3147">Jotham</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="4421">wars</strongs>, and his <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, they <em> are </em><strongs number="3789">written</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>He <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="2568">five</strongs>and <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs>when he began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>, and <strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs><strongs number="8337 6240">sixteen</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="3147">Jotham</strongs><strongs number="7901">slept</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, and they <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>him in the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>: and <strongs number="271">Ahaz</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>in his <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>. </verse>
