      <verse number='1'>And <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>was <strongs number="2388">strengthened</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>his <strongs number="4438">kingdom</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>his <strongs number="430">God</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him, and <strongs number="1431">magnified</strongs>him <strongs number="4605">exceedingly</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Then <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs><strongs number="559">spoke</strongs>unto <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, to the <strongs number="8269">captains</strongs>of <strongs number="505">thousands</strongs>and of <strongs number="3967">hundreds</strongs>, and to the <strongs number="8199">judges</strongs>, and to <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="5387">governor</strongs>in <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, the <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs>of the <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>So <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him, <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to the high <strongs number="1116">place</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em>at <strongs number="1391">Gibeon</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>the <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs>of the <strongs number="4150">congregation</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>the <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="61">But</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>had <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>brought <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 7157">Kirjath</strongs>-jearim to <em> the </em><em> place </em><em> which </em><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>had <strongs number="3559">prepared</strongs>for it: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he had <strongs number="5186">pitched</strongs>a <strongs number="168">tent</strongs>for it at <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Moreover the <strongs number="5178">brazen</strongs><strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="1212">Bezaleel</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="221">Uri</strongs>, the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2354">Hur</strongs>, had <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>, he <strongs number="7760">put</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="4908">tabernacle</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>and the <strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs><strongs number="1875">sought</strongs>unto it. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="8033">thither</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs>the <strongs number="5178">brazen</strongs><strongs number="4196">altar</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> was </em>at the <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs>of the <strongs number="4150">congregation</strongs>, and <strongs number="5927">offered</strongs>a <strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>burnt <strongs number="5930">offerings</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>In <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3915">night</strongs>did <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="7200">appear</strongs>unto <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="7592">Ask</strongs><strongs number="4100">what</strongs>I shall <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="859">Thou</strongs>hast <strongs number="6213">showed</strongs><strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="2617">mercy</strongs><strongs number="5973">unto</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, and hast made me to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>in his <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>, let thy <strongs number="1697">promise</strongs><strongs number="5973">unto</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>be <strongs number="539">established</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>hast made me <strongs number="4427">king</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>a <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>like the <strongs number="6083">dust</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>in <strongs number="7227">multitude</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="5414">Give</strongs>me <strongs number="6258">now</strongs><strongs number="2451">wisdom</strongs>and <strongs number="4093">knowledge</strongs>, that I may go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>and come <strongs number="935">in</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="4310">who</strongs>can <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <em> that </em><em> is </em><em> so </em><strongs number="1419">great</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>to <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>, <strongs number="3282 834">Because</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">in</strongs>thine <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>, and thou hast <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7592">asked</strongs><strongs number="6239">riches</strongs>, <strongs number="5233">wealth</strongs>, or <strongs number="3519">honor</strongs>, nor the <strongs number="5315">life</strongs>of thine <strongs number="8130">enemies</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="1571">yet</strongs>hast <strongs number="7592">asked</strongs>long <strongs number="7227 3117">life</strongs>; but hast <strongs number="7592">asked</strongs><strongs number="2451">wisdom</strongs>and <strongs number="4093">knowledge</strongs>for thyself, <strongs number="834">that</strongs>thou mayest <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>I have made thee <strongs number="4427">king</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='13'>Then <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><em> from </em><em> his </em><em> journey </em>to the high <strongs number="1116">place</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em>at <strongs number="1391">Gibeon</strongs>to <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, from <strongs number="4480 6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs>of the <strongs number="4150">congregation</strongs>, and <strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs><strongs number="622">gathered</strongs><strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs>and <strongs number="6571">horsemen</strongs>: and he <strongs number="1961">had</strongs>a <strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>and <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs>, and <strongs number="8147 6240">twelve</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="6571">horsemen</strongs>, which he <strongs number="5117">placed</strongs>in the <strongs number="7393">chariot</strongs><strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>, and <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>at <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="5414">made</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>and <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>at <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs><em> as </em><em> plenteous </em>as <strongs number="68">stones</strongs>, and cedar <strongs number="730">trees</strongs><strongs number="5414">made</strongs>he as the sycamore <strongs number="8256">trees</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> are </em>in the <strongs number="8219">vale</strongs>for <strongs number="7230">abundance</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>had <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>brought <strongs number="4161">out</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>, and linen <strongs number="4723">yarn</strongs>: the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="5503">merchants</strongs><strongs number="3947">received</strongs>the linen <strongs number="4723">yarn</strongs>at a <strongs number="4242">price</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And they fetched <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>, and brought <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>a <strongs number="4818">chariot</strongs>for <strongs number="8337">six</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><em> shekels </em>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and a <strongs number="5483">horse</strongs>for a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs>and <strongs number="2572">fifty</strongs>: and <strongs number="3651">so</strongs>brought they <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><em> horses </em>for <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="2850">Hittites</strongs>, and for the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>, by their <strongs number="3027">means</strongs>. </verse>
