      <verse number='2'>And when thou <strongs number="935">comest</strongs><strongs number="8033">thither</strongs>, look <strongs number="7200">out</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="5250">Nimshi</strongs>, and go <strongs number="935">in</strongs>, and make him arise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8432">among</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">carry</strongs>him to an <strongs number="2315">inner</strongs><strongs number="2315">chamber</strongs>; </verse>

      <verse number='5'>And when he <strongs number="935">came</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="8269">captains</strongs>of the <strongs number="2428">host</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="3427">sitting</strongs>; and he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I have an <strongs number="1697">errand</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>thee, O <strongs number="8269">captain</strongs>. And <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="413">Unto</strongs><strongs number="4310">which</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>us? And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="413">To</strongs>thee, O <strongs number="8269">captain</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='7'>And thou shalt <strongs number="5221">smite</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>thy <strongs number="113">master</strongs>, that I may <strongs number="5358">avenge</strongs>the <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>of my <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, at the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="348">Jezebel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>For the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>shall <strongs number="6">perish</strongs>: and I will cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>from <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>him that <strongs number="8366">pisseth</strongs>against the <strongs number="7023">wall</strongs>, and him that is shut <strongs number="6113">up</strongs>and <strongs number="5800">left</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And I will <strongs number="5414">make</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>like the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="5028">Nebat</strongs>, and like the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="1201">Baasha</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="281">Ahijah</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And the <strongs number="3611">dogs</strongs>shall <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="348">Jezebel</strongs>in the <strongs number="2506">portion</strongs>of <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs>, and <em> there </em><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="369">none</strongs>to <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs><em> her </em>. And he <strongs number="6605">opened</strongs>the <strongs number="1817">door</strongs>, and <strongs number="5127">fled</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='13'>Then they <strongs number="4116">hasted</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>his <strongs number="899">garment</strongs>, and <strongs number="7760">put</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="8478">under</strongs>him <strongs number="413">on</strongs>the <strongs number="1634">top</strongs>of the <strongs number="4609">stairs</strongs>, and <strongs number="8628">blew</strongs>with <strongs number="7782">trumpets</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>is <strongs number="4427">king</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>So <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="5250">Nimshi</strongs><strongs number="7194">conspired</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs><strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs>. (Now <strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs><strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="8104">kept</strongs><strongs number="7433">Ramoth</strongs>-gilead, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="4480 6440">because</strongs>of <strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>But <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="3088">Joram</strongs>was <strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>to be <strongs number="7495">healed</strongs>in <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="4347">wounds</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="761">Syrians</strongs>had <strongs number="5221">given</strongs>him, when he <strongs number="3898">fought</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs><strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>.) And <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="518">If</strongs>it <strongs number="3426">be</strongs>your <strongs number="5315">minds</strongs>, <em> then </em>let <strongs number="408">none</strongs>go <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs><em> nor </em><strongs number="6412">escape</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>to <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>to <strongs number="5046">tell</strongs><em> it </em>in <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>So <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>rode in a <strongs number="7392">chariot</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs><strongs number="7901">lay</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. And <strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>was come <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>to <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And there <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>a <strongs number="6822">watchman</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>the <strongs number="4026">tower</strongs>in <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs>, and he <strongs number="7200">spied</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8229">company</strongs>of <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>as he <strongs number="935">came</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>a <strongs number="8229">company</strongs>.       <verse number='20'>And the <strongs number="6822">watchman</strongs><strongs number="5046">told</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, He <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="5704">even</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, and cometh not <strongs number="7725 3808">again</strongs>: and the <strongs number="4491">driving</strongs><em> is </em>like the <strongs number="4491">driving</strongs>of <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="5250">Nimshi</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he <strongs number="5090">driveth</strongs><strongs number="7697">furiously</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And <strongs number="3088">Joram</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Make <strongs number="631">ready</strongs>. And his <strongs number="7393">chariot</strongs>was made <strongs number="631">ready</strongs>. And <strongs number="3088">Joram</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and <strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>, <strongs number="376">each</strongs>in his <strongs number="7393">chariot</strongs>, and they went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="7122">against</strongs><strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>, and <strongs number="4672">met</strongs>him in the <strongs number="2513">portion</strongs>of <strongs number="5022">Naboth</strongs>the <strongs number="3158">Jezreelite</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when <strongs number="3088">Joram</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>, that he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Is </em><em> it </em><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>, <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>? And he <strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>, so long <strongs number="5704">as</strongs>the <strongs number="2183">whoredoms</strongs>of thy <strongs number="517">mother</strongs><strongs number="348">Jezebel</strongs>and her <strongs number="3785">witchcrafts</strongs><em> are </em><em> so </em><strongs number="7227">many</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='24'>And <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>drew a <strongs number="7198">bow</strongs>with his <strongs number="4390">full</strongs><strongs number="3027">strength</strongs>, and <strongs number="5221">smote</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3088">Jehoram</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>his <strongs number="2220">arms</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2678">arrow</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>at his <strongs number="4480 3820">heart</strongs>, and he sunk <strongs number="3766">down</strongs>in his <strongs number="7393">chariot</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='26'><strongs number="518 3808">Surely</strongs>I have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs><strongs number="570">yesterday</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>of <strongs number="5022">Naboth</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>of his <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and I will <strongs number="7999">requite</strongs>thee in <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="2513">plat</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. <strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="5375">take</strongs><em> and </em><strongs number="7993">cast</strongs>him into the <strongs number="2513">plat</strongs><em> of </em><em> ground </em>, according to the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>But when <strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><em> this </em>, he <strongs number="5127">fled</strongs>by the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>of the <strongs number="1588">garden</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. And <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs><strongs number="7291">followed</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>him, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="5221">Smite</strongs>him <strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="413">in</strongs>the <strongs number="4818">chariot</strongs>. <em> And </em><em> they </em><em> did </em><em> so </em>at the going <strongs number="4608">up</strongs>to <strongs number="1483">Gur</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="854">by</strongs><strongs number="2991">Ibleam</strongs>. And he <strongs number="5127">fled</strongs>to <strongs number="4023">Megiddo</strongs>, and <strongs number="4191">died</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='28'>And his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>carried him in a <strongs number="7392 *853">chariot</strongs>to <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>him in his <strongs number="6900">sepulcher</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='29'>And in the <strongs number="259 6240">eleventh</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>began <strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs>to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='30'>And when <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>was <strongs number="935">come</strongs>to <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs>, <strongs number="348">Jezebel</strongs><strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><em> of </em><em> it </em>; and she <strongs number="7760 6320">painted</strongs>her <strongs number="5869">face</strongs>, and <strongs number="3190">tired</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>her <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>, and looked <strongs number="8259">out</strongs><strongs number="1157">at</strongs>a <strongs number="2474">window</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='31'>And as <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>entered <strongs number="935">in</strongs>at the <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>, she <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Had </em><strongs number="2174">Zimri</strongs><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>, who <strongs number="2026">slew</strongs>his <strongs number="113">master</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='32'>And he lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>his <strongs number="6440">face</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="2474">window</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">Who</strongs><em> is </em>on my <strongs number="854">side</strongs>? <strongs number="4310">who</strongs>? And there looked <strongs number="8259">out</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><em> or </em><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="5631">eunuchs</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='33'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Throw her <strongs number="8058">down</strongs>. So they threw her <strongs number="8058">down</strongs>: and <em> some </em>of her <strongs number="4480 1818">blood</strongs>was <strongs number="5137">sprinkled</strongs><strongs number="413">on</strongs>the <strongs number="7023">wall</strongs>, and <strongs number="413">on</strongs>the <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>: and he trod her under <strongs number="7429">foot</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='35'>And they <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs>her: but they <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>no <strongs number="3808">more</strongs>of her <strongs number="3588 518">than</strongs>the <strongs number="1538">skull</strongs>, and the <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3709">palms</strongs>of <em> her </em><strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='37'>And the <strongs number="5038">carcass</strongs>of <strongs number="348">Jezebel</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as <strongs number="1828">dung</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>in the <strongs number="2506">portion</strongs>of <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs>; <em> so </em><strongs number="834">that</strongs>they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="2063">This</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="348">Jezebel</strongs>. </verse>
