      <verse number='1'>Then <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>ye the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="4279">Tomorrow</strongs>about this <strongs number="6256">time</strongs><em> shall </em>a <strongs number="5429">measure</strongs>of fine <strongs number="5560">flour</strongs><em> be </em><em> sold </em>for a <strongs number="8255">shekel</strongs>, and two <strongs number="5429">measures</strongs>of <strongs number="8184">barley</strongs>for a <strongs number="8255">shekel</strongs>, in the <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>of <strongs number="8111">Samaria</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Then a <strongs number="7991">lord</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs><strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="8172">leaned</strongs><strongs number="6030">answered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, <em> if </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>would <strongs number="6213">make</strongs><strongs number="699">windows</strongs>in <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>, might <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs>? And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, thou shalt <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><em> it </em>with thine <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, but shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="4480 8033">thereof</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And there <strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="6879">leprous</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>at the entering <strongs number="6607">in</strongs>of the <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>: and they <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="7453">another</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">Why</strongs><strongs number="3427">sit</strongs><strongs number="587">we</strongs><strongs number="6311">here</strongs><strongs number="5704">until</strongs>we <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>we <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, We will <strongs number="935">enter</strongs>into the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, then the <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs><em> is </em>in the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, and we shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>: and <strongs number="518">if</strongs>we <strongs number="3427">sit</strongs>still <strongs number="6311">here</strongs>, we <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>also. <strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="1980">come</strongs>, and let us <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>of the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>: <strongs number="518">if</strongs>they save us <strongs number="2421">alive</strongs>, we shall <strongs number="2421">live</strongs>; and <strongs number="518">if</strongs>they <strongs number="4191">kill</strongs>us, we shall but <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And they rose <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>in the <strongs number="5399">twilight</strongs>, to <strongs number="935">go</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>of the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>: and when they were <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the uttermost <strongs number="7097">part</strongs>of the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <em> there </em><em> was </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>For the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs>had made <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>of the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>to <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>a <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of <strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs>, and a <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="2428">host</strongs>: and they <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="251">another</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Lo</strongs>, the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>hath <strongs number="7936">hired</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>us <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="2850">Hittites</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="4714">Egyptians</strongs>, to <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>us. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Wherefore they <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>and <strongs number="5127">fled</strongs>in the <strongs number="5399">twilight</strongs>, and <strongs number="5800">left</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="168">tents</strongs>, and their <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>, and their <strongs number="2543">asses</strongs>, even the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs><strongs number="834">as</strongs><strongs number="1931">it</strongs><em> was </em>, and <strongs number="5127">fled</strongs><strongs number="413">for</strongs>their <strongs number="5315">life</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And when <strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="6879">lepers</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the uttermost <strongs number="7097">part</strongs>of the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>, they <strongs number="935">went</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs><strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="168">tent</strongs>, and did <strongs number="398">eat</strongs>and <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>, and <strongs number="5375">carried</strongs><strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs><strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, and <strongs number="899">raiment</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and <strongs number="2934">hid</strongs><em> it </em>; and came <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">entered</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs><strongs number="312">another</strongs><strongs number="168">tent</strongs>, and <strongs number="5375">carried</strongs><strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs><em> also </em>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and <strongs number="2934">hid</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Then they <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="7453">another</strongs>, <strongs number="587">We</strongs><strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3651">well</strongs>: <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs><em> is </em>a <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of good <strongs number="1309">tidings</strongs>, and <strongs number="587">we</strongs>hold our <strongs number="2814">peace</strongs>: if we <strongs number="2442">tarry</strongs><strongs number="5704">till</strongs>the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs><strongs number="216">light</strongs>, some <strongs number="5771">mischief</strongs>will come <strongs number="4672">upon</strongs>us: <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="1980">come</strongs>, that we may <strongs number="935">go</strongs>and <strongs number="5046">tell</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">household</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>So they <strongs number="935">came</strongs>and <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="7778">porter</strongs>of the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>: and they <strongs number="5046">told</strongs>them, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, We <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>of the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>, and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <em> there </em><em> was </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>, neither <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs><strongs number="5483">horses</strongs><strongs number="631">tied</strongs>, and <strongs number="2543">asses</strongs><strongs number="631">tied</strongs>, and the <strongs number="168">tents</strongs><strongs number="834">as</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><em> were </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And he <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>the <strongs number="7778">porters</strongs>; and they <strongs number="5046">told</strongs><em> it </em>to the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><strongs number="6441">within</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>in the <strongs number="3915">night</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>, I will <strongs number="4994">now</strongs><strongs number="5046">show</strongs>you <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="834">what</strongs>the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>have <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>to us. They <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="587">we</strongs><em> be </em><strongs number="7457">hungry</strongs>; therefore are they gone <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>to hide <strongs number="2247">themselves</strongs>in the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">When</strongs>they come <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, we shall <strongs number="8610">catch</strongs>them <strongs number="2416">alive</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">get</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="259">one</strongs>of his <strongs number="4480 5650">servants</strongs><strongs number="6030">answered</strongs>and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Let <em> some </em><strongs number="3947">take</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="2568">five</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>that <strongs number="7604">remain</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>are <strongs number="7604">left</strongs>in the city, ( <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, they <em> are </em>as <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1995">multitude</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>are <strongs number="7604">left</strongs>in it: <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <em> I </em><em> say </em>, they <em> are </em>even as <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1995">multitude</strongs>of the <strongs number="3478">Israelites</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>are <strongs number="8552">consumed</strongs>:) and let us <strongs number="7971">send</strongs>and <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>They <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>therefore <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="7393">chariot</strongs><strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>; and the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>of the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>and <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And they <strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>them <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>: and, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="4392">full</strongs>of <strongs number="899">garments</strongs>and <strongs number="3627">vessels</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>had cast <strongs number="7993">away</strongs>in their <strongs number="2648">haste</strongs>. And the <strongs number="4397">messengers</strongs><strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>, and <strongs number="5046">told</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>, and <strongs number="962">spoiled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4264">tents</strongs>of the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>. So a <strongs number="5429">measure</strongs>of fine <strongs number="5560">flour</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><em> sold </em>for a <strongs number="8255">shekel</strongs>, and two <strongs number="5429">measures</strongs>of <strongs number="8184">barley</strongs>for a <strongs number="8255">shekel</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="6485">appointed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7991">lord</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs><strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>he <strongs number="8172">leaned</strongs>to have the charge <strongs number="5921">of</strongs>the <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>: and the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>trod <strongs number="7429">upon</strongs>him in the <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>, and he <strongs number="4191">died</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>had <strongs number="1696">said</strongs>, <strongs number="834">who</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs>when the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>came <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him. </verse>
