      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs>fell <strongs number="5307">down</strongs><strongs number="1157">through</strongs>a <strongs number="7639">lattice</strongs>in his upper <strongs number="5944">chamber</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em>in <strongs number="8111">Samaria</strongs>, and was <strongs number="2470">sick</strongs>: and he <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="4397">messengers</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>, <strongs number="1875">inquire</strongs>of <strongs number="1176">Baal</strongs>-zebub the <strongs number="430">god</strongs>of <strongs number="6138">Ekron</strongs><strongs number="518">whether</strongs>I shall <strongs number="2421">recover</strongs>of this <strongs number="4480 2483 2088">disease</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>But the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1696">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>the <strongs number="8664">Tishbite</strongs>, <strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs>, go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>to <strongs number="7125">meet</strongs>the <strongs number="4397">messengers</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="8111">Samaria</strongs>, and <strongs number="1696">say</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <em> Is </em><em> it </em>not <strongs number="4480 1097">because</strongs><em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs>a <strongs number="430">God</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <em> that </em><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="1980">go</strongs>to <strongs number="1875">inquire</strongs>of <strongs number="1176">Baal</strongs>-zebub the <strongs number="430">god</strongs>of <strongs number="6138">Ekron</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Now <strongs number="3651">therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, Thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>come <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>that <strongs number="4296">bed</strongs>on <strongs number="834 8033">which</strongs>thou art gone <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">but</strongs>shalt surely <strongs number="4191 4191">die</strongs>. And <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs><strongs number="1980">departed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And when the <strongs number="4397">messengers</strongs>turned <strongs number="7725">back</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, he <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="4100">Why</strongs>are ye <strongs number="2088">now</strongs>turned <strongs number="7725">back</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='14'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, there came fire <strongs number="3381 784">down</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs><strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>, and burnt <strongs number="398">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="8269">captains</strongs>of the <strongs number="7223">former</strongs><strongs number="2572">fifties</strongs>with their <strongs number="2572">fifties</strongs>: therefore let my <strongs number="5315">life</strongs><strongs number="6258">now</strongs>be <strongs number="3365">precious</strongs>in thy <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1696">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>, Go <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him: be not <strongs number="408 3372">afraid</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">of</strongs>him. And he <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and went <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>. </verse>

And <strongs number="3088">Jehoram</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>in his <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>in the <strongs number="8147">second</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="3088">Jehoram</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="4428">King</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>he <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="1121">son</strongs>. </verse>
