      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him from <strongs number="4480 1184">Baale</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, to bring <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="8034">name</strongs>is <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>by the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>that <strongs number="3427 5921">dwelleth</strongs><em> between </em>the <strongs number="3742">cherubims</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And they <strongs number="7392">set</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs>a <strongs number="2319">new</strongs><strongs number="5699">cart</strongs>, and <strongs number="5375">brought</strongs>it out of the <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="41">Abinadab</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em>in <strongs number="1390">Gibeah</strongs>: and <strongs number="5798">Uzzah</strongs>and <strongs number="283">Ahio</strongs>, the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="41">Abinadab</strongs>, <strongs number="5090">drove</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="2319">new</strongs><strongs number="5699">cart</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And they <strongs number="5375">brought</strongs>it out of the <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="41">Abinadab</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> was </em>at <strongs number="1390">Gibeah</strongs>, <strongs number="5973">accompanying</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: and <strongs number="283">Ahio</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="7832">played</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>on <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>manner of <em> instruments </em><em> made </em><em> of </em><strongs number="1265">fir</strongs><strongs number="6086">wood</strongs>, even on <strongs number="3658">harps</strongs>, and on <strongs number="5035">psalteries</strongs>, and on <strongs number="8596">timbrels</strongs>, and on <strongs number="4517">cornets</strongs>, and on <strongs number="6767">cymbals</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And when they <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs><strongs number="5225">Nachon</strongs>'s <strongs number="1637">threshingfloor</strongs>, <strongs number="5798">Uzzah</strongs>put <strongs number="7971">forth</strongs><em> his </em><em> hand </em><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and took <strongs number="270">hold</strongs>of it; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="1241">oxen</strongs><strongs number="8058">shook</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And the <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>was <strongs number="2734">kindled</strongs>against <strongs number="5798">Uzzah</strongs>; and <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="5221">smote</strongs>him <strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="7944">error</strongs>; and <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>he <strongs number="4191">died</strongs><strongs number="5973">by</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>was <strongs number="2734">displeased</strongs>, <strongs number="5921 834">because</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="6555">made</strongs>a <strongs number="6556">breach</strongs>upon <strongs number="5798">Uzzah</strongs>: and he called the <strongs number="7121">name</strongs>of <strongs number="1931">the</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="6560">Perez</strongs>-uzzah <strongs number="5704">to</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>was <strongs number="3372">afraid</strongs>of <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="349">How</strongs>shall the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>me? </verse>
      <verse number='10'>So <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="14">would</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5493">remove</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him <strongs number="5921">into</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>: but <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>carried it <strongs number="5186">aside</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="5654">Obed</strongs>-edom the <strongs number="1663">Gittite</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3427">continued</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="5654">Obed</strongs>-edom the <strongs number="1663">Gittite</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="2320">months</strongs>: and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="5654">Obed</strongs>-edom, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="1004">household</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And it was <strongs number="5046">told</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="5654">Obed</strongs>-edom, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> pertaineth </em>unto him, <strongs number="5668">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. So <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and brought <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="5654">Obed</strongs>-edom into the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>with <strongs number="8057">gladness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><em> so </em>, that <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>they that <strongs number="5375">bore</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="6805">gone</strongs><strongs number="8337">six</strongs><strongs number="6806">paces</strongs>, he <strongs number="2076">sacrificed</strongs><strongs number="7794">oxen</strongs>and <strongs number="4806">fatlings</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="3769">danced</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="5797">might</strongs>; and <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="2296">girded</strongs>with a <strongs number="906">linen</strongs><strongs number="646">ephod</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>So <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>brought <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>with <strongs number="8643">shouting</strongs>, and with the <strongs number="6963">sound</strongs>of the <strongs number="7782">trumpet</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="1961">as</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>into the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, <strongs number="4324">Michal</strongs><strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>'s <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs><strongs number="8259">looked</strongs><strongs number="1157">through</strongs>a <strongs number="2474">window</strongs>, and <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="6339">leaping</strongs>and <strongs number="3769">dancing</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and she <strongs number="959">despised</strongs>him in her <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And they brought <strongs number="935">in</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="3322">set</strongs>it in his <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>had <strongs number="5186">pitched</strongs>for it: and <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="5927">offered</strongs>burnt <strongs number="5930">offerings</strongs>and peace <strongs number="8002">offerings</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And as soon as <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>had made an <strongs number="3615">end</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 5927">offering</strongs>burnt <strongs number="5930">offerings</strongs>and peace <strongs number="8002">offerings</strongs>, he <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>in the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And he <strongs number="2505">dealt</strongs>among <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <em> even </em>among the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="1995">multitude</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, as well <strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="802">women</strongs>as <strongs number="4480 376">men</strongs>, to every <strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="259">a</strongs><strongs number="2471">cake</strongs>of <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>, and <strongs number="259">a</strongs>good <strongs number="829">piece</strongs><em> of </em><em> flesh </em>, and <strongs number="259">a</strongs><strongs number="809">flagon</strongs><em> of </em><em> wine </em>.       <verse number='20'>Then <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>to <strongs number="1288">bless</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1004">household</strongs>. And <strongs number="4324">Michal</strongs>the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>came <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>to <strongs number="7125">meet</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">How</strongs><strongs number="3513">glorious</strongs>was the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="3117">today</strongs>, <strongs number="834">who</strongs>uncovered <strongs number="1540">himself</strongs><strongs number="3117">today</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>of the <strongs number="519">handmaids</strongs>of his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>, as <strongs number="259">one</strongs>of the vain <strongs number="7386">fellows</strongs>shamelessly uncovereth <strongs number="1540 1540">himself</strongs>! </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4324">Michal</strongs>, <em> It </em><em> was </em><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="977">chose</strongs>me before thy <strongs number="4480 1">father</strongs>, and before <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, to <strongs number="6680">appoint</strongs>me <strongs number="5057">ruler</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: therefore will I <strongs number="7832">play</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And I will <strongs number="5750">yet</strongs>be more <strongs number="7043">vile</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 2063">thus</strongs>, and will <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="8217">base</strongs>in mine own <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>: and <strongs number="5973">of</strongs>the <strongs number="519">maidservants</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="559">spoken</strongs>of, of them shall I be had in <strongs number="3513">honor</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>Therefore <strongs number="4324">Michal</strongs>the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs><strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="3206">child</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of her <strongs number="4194">death</strongs>. </verse>
