      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="53">Absalom</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="7200">See</strongs>, thy <strongs number="1697">matters</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="2896">good</strongs>and <strongs number="5228">right</strongs>; but <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs>man <em> deputed </em>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>to <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>thee. </verse>

      <verse number='7'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs><strongs number="4480 7093">after</strongs><strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>, that <strongs number="53">Absalom</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, let me <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>and <strongs number="7999">pay</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5088">vow</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have <strongs number="5087">vowed</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, in <strongs number="2275">Hebron</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="5087">vowed</strongs>a <strongs number="5088">vow</strongs>while I <strongs number="3427">abode</strongs>at <strongs number="1650">Geshur</strongs>in <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="518">If</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall bring me <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>indeed to <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, then I will <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>in <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>. So he <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="2275">Hebron</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>But <strongs number="53">Absalom</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="7270">spies</strongs>throughout <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="7626">tribes</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, As soon as ye <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6963">sound</strongs>of the <strongs number="7782">trumpet</strongs>, then ye shall <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="53">Absalom</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigneth</strongs>in <strongs number="2275">Hebron</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="854">with</strongs><strongs number="53">Absalom</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>two <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, <em> that </em><em> were </em><strongs number="7121">called</strongs>; and they <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>in their <strongs number="8537">simplicity</strongs>, and they <strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="53">Absalom</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>for <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="302">Ahithophel</strongs>the <strongs number="1526">Gilonite</strongs>, <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>'s <strongs number="3289">counselor</strongs>, from his <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, <em> even </em>from <strongs number="4480 1542">Giloh</strongs>, while he <strongs number="2076">offered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2077">sacrifices</strongs>. And the <strongs number="7195">conspiracy</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="533">strong</strongs>; for the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="7227">increased</strongs><strongs number="1980">continually</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs><strongs number="53">Absalom</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And there <strongs number="935">came</strongs>a <strongs number="5046">messenger</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="3820">hearts</strongs>of the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="1961">are</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs><strongs number="53">Absalom</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='15'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs><em> are </em><em> ready </em><em> to </em><em> do </em><strongs number="834 3605">whatsoever</strongs>my <strongs number="113">lord</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>shall <strongs number="977">appoint</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="1004">household</strongs><strongs number="7272">after</strongs>him.       <verse number='19'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="863">Ittai</strongs>the <strongs number="1663">Gittite</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">Wherefore</strongs><strongs number="1980">goest</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>us? <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>to thy <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">abide</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><em> art </em>a <strongs number="5237">stranger</strongs>, and <strongs number="1571">also</strongs>an <strongs number="1540">exile</strongs>. </verse>

And <strongs number="863">Ittai</strongs>the <strongs number="1663">Gittite</strongs>passed <strongs number="5674">over</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="376">men</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him. </verse>

      <verse number='25'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto <strongs number="6659">Zadok</strongs>, Carry <strongs number="7725">back</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>into the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>: <strongs number="518">if</strongs>I shall <strongs number="4672">find</strongs><strongs number="2580">favor</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, he will bring me <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>, and <strongs number="7200">show</strongs>me <em> both </em>it, and his <strongs number="5116">habitation</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='32'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, that <em> when </em><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>was <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">top</strongs><em> of </em><em> the </em><em> mount </em>, <strongs number="834">where</strongs>he <strongs number="7812">worshiped</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <strongs number="2365">Hushai</strongs>the <strongs number="757">Archite</strongs>came to <strongs number="7125">meet</strongs>him with his <strongs number="3801">coat</strongs><strongs number="7167">rent</strongs>, and <strongs number="127">earth</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>: </verse>
