      <verse number='1'>Then <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>and <strongs number="5046">told</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, My <strongs number="1">father</strongs>and my <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and their <strongs number="6629">flocks</strongs>, and their <strongs number="1241">herds</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>they have, are <strongs number="935">come</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>; and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, they <em> are </em>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="1657">Goshen</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And he <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="4480 7097">some</strongs>of his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="2568">five</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>, and <strongs number="3322">presented</strongs>them <strongs number="6440">unto</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><em> is </em>your <strongs number="4639">occupation</strongs>?       <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="3427">placed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>and his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>them a <strongs number="272">possession</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, in the <strongs number="4315">best</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="7486">Rameses</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>had <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>gathered <strongs number="3950">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>that was <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>, for the <strongs number="7668">corn</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="7666">bought</strongs>: and <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>into <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And when <strongs number="3701">money</strongs><strongs number="8552">failed</strongs>in the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4714">Egyptians</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3051">Give</strongs>us <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>: for <strongs number="4100">why</strongs>should we <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>in thy <strongs number="5048">presence</strongs>? <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs><strongs number="656">faileth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3051">Give</strongs>your <strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>; and I will <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>you for your <strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>, <strongs number="518">if</strongs><strongs number="3701">money</strongs><strongs number="656">fail</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='19'><strongs number="4100">Wherefore</strongs>shall we <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>before thine <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, <strongs number="1571">both</strongs><strongs number="587">we</strongs><strongs number="1571">and</strongs>our <strongs number="127">land</strongs>? <strongs number="7069">buy</strongs>us and our <strongs number="127">land</strongs>for <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>, and <strongs number="587">we</strongs>and our <strongs number="127">land</strongs>will <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>unto <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>: and <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><em> us </em><strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>, that we may <strongs number="2421">live</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="4191">die</strongs>, that the <strongs number="127">land</strongs>be not <strongs number="3456 3808">desolate</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="7069">bought</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="127">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>for <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="4714">Egyptians</strongs><strongs number="4376">sold</strongs>every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>his <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>the <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs><strongs number="2388">prevailed</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>them: so the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="1961">became</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>'s. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And as for the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, he <strongs number="5674">removed</strongs>them to <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>from <em> one </em><strongs number="4480 7097">end</strongs>of the <strongs number="1366">borders</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <em> other </em><strongs number="7097">end</strongs>thereof. </verse>
      <verse number='22'><strongs number="7535">Only</strongs>the <strongs number="127">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="7069">bought</strongs>he <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>had a <strongs number="2706">portion</strongs><em> assigned </em><em> them </em><strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, and did <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="2706">portion</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>them: <strongs number="5921 3651">wherefore</strongs>they <strongs number="4376">sold</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="127">lands</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>Then <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="2005">Behold</strongs>, I have <strongs number="7069">bought</strongs>you this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>and your <strongs number="127">land</strongs>for <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>: <strongs number="1887">lo</strongs>, <em> here </em><em> is </em><strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>for you, and ye shall <strongs number="2232">sow</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="127">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in the <strongs number="8393">increase</strongs>, that ye shall <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>the <strongs number="2549">fifth</strongs><em> part </em>unto <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, and <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="3027">parts</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>your own, for <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>, and for your <strongs number="400">food</strongs>, and for <strongs number="834">them</strongs>of your <strongs number="1004">households</strongs>, and for <strongs number="398">food</strongs>for your little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Thou hast saved our <strongs number="2421">lives</strongs>: let us <strongs number="4672">find</strongs><strongs number="2580">grace</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of my <strongs number="113">lord</strongs>, and we will <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>'s <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='26'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="7760">made</strongs>it a <strongs number="2706">law</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>the <strongs number="127">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <em> that </em><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>should have the <strongs number="2569">fifth</strongs><em> part </em>; <strongs number="7535">except</strongs>the <strongs number="127">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="905">only</strongs>, <em> which </em><strongs number="1961">became</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>'s. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>And <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, in the <strongs number="776">country</strongs>of <strongs number="1657">Goshen</strongs>; and they had <strongs number="270">possessions</strongs>therein, and <strongs number="6509">grew</strongs>, and <strongs number="7235">multiplied</strongs><strongs number="3966">exceedingly</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='28'>And <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="2421">lived</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs><strongs number="7651 6240">seventeen</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>: so the whole <strongs number="3117 8141 2416">age</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="705">forty</strongs>and <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
