      <verse number='1'>And <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, <strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs>, go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>to <strongs number="1008">Bethel</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>: and <strongs number="6213">make</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>an <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>unto <strongs number="410">God</strongs>, that <strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee when thou <strongs number="1272">fleddest</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 6440">face</strongs>of <strongs number="6215">Esau</strongs>thy <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='4'>And they <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5236">strange</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> were </em>in their <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, and <em> all </em><em> their </em><strongs number="5141">earrings</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> were </em>in their <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>; and <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="2934">hid</strongs>them <strongs number="8478">under</strongs>the <strongs number="424">oak</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="5973">by</strongs><strongs number="7927">Shechem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And they <strongs number="5265">journeyed</strongs>: and the <strongs number="2847">terror</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>them, and they did <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7291">pursue</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>So <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>to <strongs number="3870">Luz</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> is </em>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><em> is </em>, <strongs number="1008">Bethel</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And he <strongs number="1129">built</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>an <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="416">El</strongs>-bethel: <strongs number="3588">because</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="1540">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, when he <strongs number="1272">fled</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 6440">face</strongs>of his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>But <strongs number="1683">Deborah</strongs><strongs number="7259">Rebekah</strongs>'s <strongs number="3243">nurse</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>, and she was <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs><strongs number="4480 8478">beneath</strongs><strongs number="1008">Bethel</strongs><strongs number="8478">under</strongs>an <strongs number="437">oak</strongs>: and the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of it was <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="439">Allon</strongs>-bachuth. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="5750">again</strongs>, when he <strongs number="935">came</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 6307">Padan</strongs>-aram, and <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs>him. </verse>

      <verse number='19'>And <strongs number="7354">Rachel</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>, and was <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>in the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>to <strongs number="672">Ephrath</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">which</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="1035">Bethlehem</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='24'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="7354">Rachel</strongs>; <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, and <strongs number="1144">Benjamin</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='25'>And the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="1090">Bilhah</strongs>, <strongs number="7354">Rachel</strongs>'s <strongs number="8198">handmaid</strongs>; <strongs number="1835">Dan</strongs>, and <strongs number="5321">Naphtali</strongs>: </verse>
