In like mannershalt thou dowith his ass; and soshalt thou dowith his raiment; and with alllost thingof thy brother's, whichhe hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou dolikewise: thou mayestnothide thyself. Thou shalt notseethy brother's assorhis oxfall downby the way, and hide thyselffromthem: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again. The womanshall notwearthat which pertainethunto a man, neithershall a manput ona woman's garment: forallthat doso are abominationunto the LORDthy God. Thou shalt notsowthy vineyardwith divers seeds: lestthe fruitof thy seedwhichthou hast sown, and the fruitof thy vineyard, be defiled. Thou shalt notplowwith an oxand an asstogether. Thou shalt notweara garment of divers sorts, as of woolenand linentogether. Thou shalt makethee fringesuponthe fourquartersof thy vesture, wherewiththou coverest thyself . Ifany mantakea wife, and go inuntoher, and hateher, And giveoccasionsof speechagainst her, and bring upan evilnameuponher, and say, I tookthiswoman, and when I cametoher, I foundher nota maid: Then shall the fatherof the damsel, and her mother, takeand bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginityuntothe eldersof the cityin the gate: And the damsel's fathershall sayuntothe elders, I gavemy daughterunto thismanto wife, and he hatethher; And, lo, hehath givenoccasionsof speech against her , saying, I foundnotthy daughtera maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spreadthe clothbeforethe eldersof the city. And the eldersof thatcityshall takethat manand chastisehim; And they shall amercehim in a hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the fatherof the damsel, becausehe hath brought upan evilnameupona virginof Israel: and she shall behis wife; he maynotput her awayallhis days. But ifthisthingbetrue, and the tokens of virginitybe notfoundfor the damsel: Then they shall bring outthe damseltothe doorof her father's house, and the menof her cityshall stoneher with stonesthat she die: becauseshe hath wroughtfollyin Israel, to play the whorein her father's house: so shalt thou put evil awayfrom amongyou. Ifa manbe foundlyingwitha womanmarriedto a husband, then they shall bothof them die, both the manthat laywiththe woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put awayevilfrom Israel. Ifa damsel that is a virginbebetrothedunto a husband, and a manfindher in the city, and liewithher; Then ye shall bring them both outuntothe gateof thatcity, and ye shall stonethem with stonesthat they die; the damsel, becauseshe criednot, being in the city; and the man, becausehe hath humbledhis neighbor's wife: so thou shalt put awayevilfrom amongyou. But ifa manfinda betrotheddamselin the field, and the manforceher, and liewithher: then the manonlythatlaywithher shall die: But unto the damselthou shalt donothing; there is in the damselnosin worthy of death: foraswhen a manrisethagainsthis neighbor, and slayethhim, even so is thismatter: Forhe foundher in the field, and the betrotheddamselcried, and there was noneto saveher. Ifa manfinda damsel that is a virgin, whichis notbetrothed, and lay holdon her, and liewithher, and they be found; Then the manthat laywithher shall giveunto the damsel's fatherfifty shekels of silver, and she shall behis wife; becausehe hath humbledher, he maynotput her awayallhis days. A manshall nottakehis father's wife, nordiscoverhis father's skirt.
