Nevertheless*theseye shall noteatof them that chewthe cud, or of them that dividethe clovenhoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: fortheychewthe cud, but dividenotthe hoof; therefore they are uncleanunto you. And the swine, becauseitdivideththe hoof, yet cheweth notthe cud, it is uncleanunto you: ye shall noteatof their flesh, nortouchtheir dead carcass. *Theseye shall eatof allthat are in the waters: allthathave finsand scalesshall ye eat: And whatsoeverhath notfinsand scalesye may noteat; it is uncleanunto you. Of allcleanbirdsye shall eat. But these are they of whichye shall noteat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the osprey, And the glede, and the kite, and the vultureafter his kind, And everyravenafter his kind, And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawkafter his kind, The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan, And the pelican, and the gier-eagle, and the cormorant, And the stork, and the heronafter her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. And everycreeping thingthat flieth is uncleanunto you: they shall notbe eaten. But of allcleanfowlsye may eat. Ye shall noteat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt giveit unto the strangerthat is in thy gates, that he may eatit; orthou mayest sellit unto an alien: forthou art a holypeopleunto the LORDthy God. Thou shalt notseethea kidin his mother's milk. Thou shalt truly titheallthe increaseof thy seed, that the fieldbringeth forthyearby year. And thou shalt eatbeforethe LORDthy God, in the placewhichhe shall chooseto placehis namethere, the titheof thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlingsof thy herdsand of thy flocks; thatthou mayest learnto fearthe LORDthy Godalways. And ifthe waybe too longforthee, so thatthou art not ableto carryit; or ifthe placebe too farfromthee, whichthe LORDthy Godshall chooseto sethis namethere, whenthe LORDthy Godhath blessedthee: Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind upthe moneyin thine hand, and shalt gountothe placewhichthe LORDthy Godshall choose: And thou shalt bestowthat moneyfor whatsoeverthy soullusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoeverthy souldesireth: and thou shalt eattherebeforethe LORDthy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household, And the Levitethat is within thy gates; thou shalt notforsakehim; forhe hath nopartnor inheritancewiththee. At the endof threeyearsthou shalt bring forthallthe titheof thine increasethe sameyear, and shalt lay it upwithin thy gates: And the Levite, ( becausehe hath nopartnor inheritancewiththee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eatand be satisfied; thatthe LORDthy Godmay blessthee in allthe workof thine handwhichthou doest.
