Andwhenthey came nightoJerusalem, untoBethphageandBethany, atthemountof Olives, he sendeth forthtwoof hisdisciples, Andsaithunto them, Go your wayintothevillage over againstyou: and as soon as ye be enteredintoit, ye shall find a colttied, whereonnevermansat; loosehim, and bring him. Andif any mansay unto you, Whydo ye this? say ye thattheLordhathneed of him; andstraightway he will sendhimhither. Andthey went their way, andfoundthecolttiedbythedoorwithoutina place where two ways met; andthey loosehim. Andcertainof them that stoodtheresaidunto them, Whatdoye, loosingthecolt? Andtheysaidunto themeven asJesushad commanded: andthey let them go. Andthey broughtthecolttoJesus, andcasttheirgarmentson him; andhe satuponhim. Andmanyspreadtheirgarmentsintheway: andotherscut downbranchesoffthetrees, andstrewed them intheway. Andthey that went before, andthey that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that comethinthe nameof the Lord: Blessed be thekingdomof ourfatherDavid, that comethinthe nameof the Lord: Hosannainthehighest. AndJesusenteredintoJerusalem, andintothetemple: andwhen he had looked round aboutupon all things, andnowtheeventidewas come, he went outuntoBethanywiththetwelve. Andon themorrow, when theywere comefromBethany, he was hungry: Andseeinga fig treeafar offhavingleaves, he came, ifhaplyhe might findanythingthereon: andwhen he cametoit, hefoundnothingbutleaves; forthe timeof figswasnot yet. AndJesusansweredand saidunto it, No maneatfruitoftheehereafterforever. Andhisdisciplesheard it. Andthey cometoJerusalem: andJesuswentintothetemple, and beganto cast outthem that soldandboughtinthetemple, andoverthrewthetablesof themoneychangers, andtheseatsof them that solddoves; Andwould notsufferthatany manshould carry any vesselthroughthetemple. Andhe taught, sayingunto them, Is it notwritten, Myhouse shall be called of allnations the house of prayer? butye have madeit a den of thieves. Andthescribesandchief priestsheard it, andsoughthowthey might destroyhim: forthey fearedhim, becauseallthepeoplewas astonishedathisdoctrine. Andwhenevenwas come, he wentoutof thecity. Andin the morning, as they passed by, they sawthefig treedried upfromthe roots. AndPetercalling to remembrancesaithunto him, Master, behold, thefig treewhichthou cursedstis withered away. AndJesusansweringsaithunto them, Havefaith in God. Forverily I say unto you, Thatwhosoever shall say unto thismountain, Be thou removed, and be thou castintothesea; and shall notdoubtinhisheart, but shall believethat those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall havewhatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believethat ye receive them, andye shall have them. Andwhen ye standpraying, forgive, if ye haveaughtagainstany: thatyourFatheralsowhich is inheaven may forgiveyouyourtrespasses. Butifye do notforgive, neither will yourFatherwhich is inheavenforgiveyourtrespasses. Andthey comeagaintoJerusalem: andas hewas walkinginthetemple, there cometohimthechief priests, andthescribes, andtheelders, Andsayunto him, Bywhatauthoritydoestthou these things? andwhogavetheethisauthoritytodothese things? AndJesusansweredand saidunto them, I will also ask of youonequestion, andanswerme, and I will tellyoubywhatauthority I do these things. Thebaptism of John, was it fromheaven, orofmen? answerme. Andthey reasonedwiththemselves, saying, Ifwe shall say, Fromheaven; he will say, Whythendid ye notbelievehim? Butifwe shall say, Ofmen; they fearedthepeople: forall men countedJohn, thathe wasa prophetindeed. Andthey answeredand saidunto Jesus. We cannot tell. AndJesusansweringsaithunto them, Neither do Itellyoubywhatauthority I do these things.
