Afterward he broughtme tothe gate, even the gatethatlookethtowardthe east: And, behold, the gloryof the Godof Israelcamefrom the wayof the east: and his voice was like a noiseof manywaters: and the earthshinedwith his glory. And it was according to the appearanceof the visionwhichI saw, even according to the visionthatI sawwhen I cameto destroythe city: and the visions were like the visionthatI sawbythe riverChebar; and I felluponmy face. And the gloryof the LORDcameintothe houseby the wayof the gatewhoseprospect is towardthe east. So the spirittook me up, and broughtme intothe innercourt; and, behold, the gloryof the LORDfilledthe house. And I heard him speakinguntome out of the house; and the manstoodbyme. And he saiduntome, Sonof man, the placeof my throne, and the placeof the solesof my feet, whereI will dwellin the midstof the childrenof Israelforever, and my holyname, shall the houseof Israelnomoredefile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcassesof their kingsin their high places. In their settingof their thresholdbymy thresholds, and their postbymy posts, and the wallbetweenme and them, they have even defiledmy holynameby their abominationsthatthey have committed: wherefore I have consumedthem in mine anger. Nowlet them put awaytheir whoredom, and the carcassesof their kings, far fromme, and I will dwellin the midstof them forever. Thousonof man, showthe houseto the houseof Israel, that they may be ashamedof their iniquities: and let them measurethe pattern. And ifthey be ashamedof allthatthey have done, showthem the formof the house, and the fashionthereof, and the goings outthereof, and the comings inthereof, and allthe formsthereof, and allthe ordinancesthereof, and allthe formsthereof, and allthe lawsthereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keepthe wholeformthereof, and allthe ordinancesthereof, and dothem. This is the lawof the house; Uponthe topof the mountainthe wholelimitthereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the lawof the house. And these are the measuresof the altarafter the cubits: The cubit is a cubitand a handbreadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadtha cubit, and the borderthereof bythe edgethereof round about shall be aspan: and this shall be the higher placeof the altar. And from the bottom upon the ground even tothe lowersettle shall be twocubits, and the breadthonecubit; and from the lesser settle even tothe greatersettle shall be fourcubits, and the breadth one cubit. So the altar shall be fourcubits; and from the altarand upward shall be fourhorns. And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelvebroad, squareinthe foursquaresthereof. And the settle shall be fourteen cubits longand fourteenbroadinthe foursquaresthereof; and the borderaboutit shall be halfa cubit; and the bottomthereof shall be a cubitabout; and his stairsshall looktoward the east. And he saiduntome, Sonof man, thussaiththe LordGOD; These are the ordinancesof the altarin the daywhen they shall makeit, to offerburnt offeringsthereon, and to sprinklebloodthereon. And thou shalt givetothe prieststhe Levitesthatbe of the seedof Zadok, which approachuntome, to ministerunto me, saiththe LordGOD, a youngbullockfor a sin offering. And thou shalt takeof the bloodthereof, and put it onthe fourhornsof it, and onthe fourcornersof the settle, and uponthe borderround about: thus shalt thou cleanseand purgeit. Thou shalt takethe bullockalso of the sin offering, and he shall burnit in the appointed placeof the house, withoutthe sanctuary. And on the seconddaythou shalt offera kidof the goatswithout blemishfor a sin offering; and they shall cleansethe altar, asthey did cleanse it with the bullock. When thou hast made an endof cleansing it , thou shalt offera youngbullockwithout blemish, and a ramout ofthe flockwithout blemish. And thou shalt offerthem beforethe LORD, and the priestsshall castsaltuponthem, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offeringunto the LORD. Sevendaysshalt thou prepareevery daya goat for a sin offering: they shall also preparea youngbullock, and a ramout ofthe flock, without blemish. Sevendaysshall they purgethe altarand purifyit; and they shall consecratethemselves. And when these daysare expired, it shall be, that upon the eighthday, and so forward, the priestsshall makeyour burnt offeringsuponthe altar, and your peace offerings; and I will acceptyou, saiththe LordGOD.
