Afterward he broughtme tothe temple, and measuredthe posts, sixcubitsbroadon the one side, and sixcubitsbroadon the other side, which was the breadthof the tabernacle. And the breadthof the door was tencubits; and the sidesof the door were fivecubitson the one side, and fivecubitson the other side: and he measuredthe lengththereof, fortycubits: and the breadth, twentycubits. Then wenthe inward, and measuredthe postof the door, twocubits; and the door, sixcubits; and the breadthof the door, sevencubits. So he measuredthe lengththereof, twentycubits; and the breadth, twentycubits, beforethe temple: and he saiduntome, This is the most holy place . After he measuredthe wallof the house, sixcubits; and the breadthof every side chamber, fourcubits, round aboutthe houseon every side. And the side chambers were three, oneoveranother, and thirtyin order; and they enteredinto the wallwhich was of the housefor the side chambersround about, that they might havehold, but they hadnotholdin the wallof the house. And there was an enlarging, and a winding aboutstill upwardto the side chambers: forthe winding aboutof the housewent still upwardround aboutthe house: thereforethe breadthof the house was still upward, and soincreased from the lowest chamber tothe highestby the midst. I sawalso the heightof the houseround about: the foundationsof the side chambers were a fullreedof sixgreatcubits. The thicknessof the wall, which was for the side chamberwithout, was fivecubits: and that which was left was the placeof the side chambersthat were within. And betweenthe chambers was the widthof twentycubitsround aboutthe houseon every side. And the doorsof the side chambers were toward the place that was left, onedoortowardthe north, and anotherdoortoward the south: and the breadthof the placethat was left was fivecubitsround about. Now the buildingthat was beforethe separate placeat the endtowardthe west was seventycubitsbroad; and the wallof the building was fivecubitsthickround about, and the lengththereof ninetycubits. So he measuredthe house, a hundredcubitslong; and the separate place, and the building, with the wallsthereof, a hundredcubitslong; Also the breadthof the faceof the house, and of the separate placetoward the east, a hundredcubits. And he measuredthe lengthof the buildingover againstthe separate placewhich was behindit, and the galleriesthereof on the one sideand on the other side, a hundredcubits, with the innertemple, and the porchesof the court; The door posts, and the narrowwindows, and the galleriesround abouton their three stories, over againstthe door, ceiledwith woodround about, and from the groundup tothe windows, and the windows were covered; Tothat abovethe door, even untothe innerhouse, and without, and byallthe wallround aboutwithinand without, by measure. And it was madewith cherubimsand palm trees, so that a palm tree was betweena cheruband a cherub; and every cherubhad twofaces; So that the faceof a man was towardthe palm treeon the one side, and the faceof a young liontowardthe palm treeon the other side: it was madethroughallthe houseround about. From the grounduntoabovethe door were cherubimsand palm treesmade, and on the wallof the temple. The postsof the temple were squared, and the faceof the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other . The altarof wood was threecubitshigh, and the lengththereof twocubits; and the cornersthereof, and the lengththereof, and the wallsthereof, were of wood: and he saiduntome, This is the tablethat is beforethe LORD. And the templeand the sanctuaryhad twodoors. And the doorshad twoleaves apiece , twoturningleaves; two leaves for the onedoor, and twoleavesfor the other door . And there were madeonthem, onthe doorsof the temple, cherubimsand palm trees, like as were madeupon the walls; and there were thickplanksuponthe faceof the porchwithout. And there were narrowwindowsand palm treeson the one sideand on the other side, onthe sidesof the porch, and upon the side chambersof the house, and thick planks.
