In the fiveand twentiethyearof our captivity, in the beginningof the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenthyearafterthatthe citywas smitten, in the selfsamedaythe handof the LORDwasuponme, and broughtme thither. In the visionsof Godbroughthe me intothe landof Israel, and setme upona veryhighmountain, bywhich was as the frameof a cityon the south. And he broughtme thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearanceof brass, with a lineof flaxin his hand, and a measuringreed; and hestoodin the gate. And the mansaiduntome, Sonof man, beholdwith thine eyes, and hearwith thine ears, and setthine heartupon allthatIshall showthee; forto the intent thatI might show them unto thee art thou broughthither: declareallthatthouseestto the houseof Israel. And beholda wallon the outsideof the houseround about, and in the man's handa measuringreedof sixcubits long by the cubitand a handbreadth: so he measuredthe breadthof the building, onereed; and the height, onereed. Then camehe untothe gatewhichlookethtowardthe east, and went upthe stairsthereof, and measuredthe thresholdof the gate, which was onereedbroad; and the otherthreshold of the gate, which was onereedbroad. And every little chamber was onereedlong, and onereedbroad; and betweenthe little chambers were fivecubits; and the thresholdof the gatebythe porchof the gatewithin was onereed. He measuredalso the porchof the gatewithin, onereed. Then measuredhe the porchof the gate, eightcubits; and the poststhereof, twocubits; and the porchof the gate was inward. And the little chambersof the gateeastward were threeon this side, and threeon that side; they three were of onemeasure: and the postshad onemeasureon this sideand on that side. And he measuredthe breadthof the entryof the gate, tencubits; and the lengthof the gate, thirteencubits. The spacealso beforethe little chambers was onecubit on this side , and the space was onecubiton that side: and the little chambers were sixcubitson this side, and sixcubitson that side. He measuredthen the gatefrom the roofof one little chamberto the roofof another: the breadth was fiveand twentycubits, dooragainstdoor. He madealso postsof threescorecubits, even untothe postof the courtround aboutthe gate. And fromthe faceof the gateof the entranceuntothe faceof the porchof the innergate were fiftycubits. And there were narrowwindowstothe little chambers, and totheir postswithinthe gateround about, and likewiseto the porches: and windows were round aboutinward: and upon each post were palm trees. Then broughthe me intothe outwardcourt, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavementmadefor the courtround about: thirtychambers were uponthe pavement. And the pavementbythe sideof the gatesover againstthe lengthof the gates was the lowerpavement. Then he measuredthe breadthfrom the forefrontof the lowergateunto the forefrontof the innercourtwithout, a hundredcubitseastwardand northward. And the gateof the outwardcourtthatlookedtowardthe north, he measuredthe lengththereof, and the breadththereof. And the little chambersthereof were threeon this sideand threeon that side; and the poststhereof and the porchesthereof wereafter the measureof the firstgate: the lengththereof was fiftycubits, and the breadthfiveand twentycubits. And their windows, and their porches, and their palm trees, were after the measureof the gatethatlookethtowardthe east; and they went upunto it by sevensteps; and the porchesthereof were beforethem. And the gateof the innercourt was over againstthe gatetoward the north, and toward the east; and he measuredfrom gatetogatea hundredcubits. After that he broughtme towardthe south, and beholda gatetowardthe south: and he measuredthe poststhereof and the porchesthereof according to thesemeasures. And there were windowsin it and in the porchesthereof round about, like thosewindows: the length was fiftycubits, and the breadthfiveand twentycubits. And there were sevenstepsto go upto it, and the porchesthereof were beforethem: and it had palm trees, oneon this side, and anotheron that side, uponthe poststhereof. And there was a gatein the innercourttowardthe south: and he measuredfrom gatetogatetowardthe southa hundredcubits. And he broughtme tothe innercourtby the southgate: and he measuredthe southgateaccording to thesemeasures; And the little chambersthereof, and the poststhereof, and the porchesthereof, according to thesemeasures: and there were windowsin it and in the porchesthereof round about: it was fiftycubitslong, and fiveand twentycubitsbroad. And the porchesround about were fiveand twentycubitslong, and fivecubitsbroad. And the porchesthereof were towardthe uttercourt; and palm trees were uponthe poststhereof: and the going upto it had eightsteps. And he broughtme intothe innercourttowardthe east: and he measuredthe gateaccording to thesemeasures. And the little chambersthereof, and the poststhereof, and the porchesthereof, were according to thesemeasures: and there were windowstherein and in the porchesthereof round about: it was fiftycubitslong, and fiveand twentycubitsbroad. And the porchesthereof were toward the outwardcourt; and palm trees were uponthe poststhereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going upto it had eightsteps. And he broughtme tothe northgate, and measured it according to thesemeasures; The little chambersthereof, the poststhereof, and the porchesthereof, and the windowsto it round about: the length was fiftycubits, and the breadthfiveand twentycubits. And the poststhereof were toward the uttercourt; and palm trees were uponthe poststhereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going upto it had eightsteps. And the chambersand the entriesthereof were by the postsof the gates, wherethey washedthe burnt offering. And in the porchof the gate were twotableson this side, and twotableson that side, to slaythereonthe burnt offeringand the sin offeringand the trespass offering. And atthe sidewithout, as one goeth upto the entryof the northgate, were twotables; and onthe otherside, which was at the porchof the gate, were twotables. Fourtables were on this side, and fourtableson that side, by the sideof the gate; eighttables, whereuponthey slew their sacrifices . And the fourtables were of hewnstonefor the burnt offering, of acubitand ahalflong, and a cubitand a halfbroad, and onecubithigh: whereuponalso they laidthe instrumentswherewiththey slewthe burnt offeringand the sacrifice. And within were hooks, ahand broad, fastenedround about: and uponthe tables was the fleshof the offering. And withoutthe innergate were the chambersof the singersin the innercourt, which was atthe sideof the northgate; and their prospect was towardthe south: oneatthe sideof the eastgate having the prospecttowardthe north. And he saiduntome, Thischamber, whoseprospect is towardthe south, is for the priests, the keepersof the chargeof the house. And the chamberwhoseprospect is towardthe north is for the priests, the keepersof the chargeof the altar: these are the sonsof Zadokamong the sonsof Levi, which come neartothe LORDto ministerunto him. So he measuredthe court, a hundredcubitslong, and a hundredcubitsbroad, foursquare; and the altar that was beforethe house. And he broughtme tothe porchof the house, and measured each postof the porch, fivecubitson this side, and fivecubitson that side: and the breadthof the gate was threecubitson this side, and threecubitson that side. The lengthof the porch was twentycubits, and the breadthelevencubits; and he brought me by the stepswherebythey went uptoit: and there were pillarsbythe posts, oneon this side, and anotheron that side.
