Thoualso, sonof man, takethee a tile, and layit beforethee, and portrayuponit the city, even Jerusalem: And laysiegeagainstit, and builda fortagainstit, and casta mountagainstit; setthe campalso againstit, and set battering ramsagainstit round about. Moreover takethouunto thee an ironpan, and setit for a wallof ironbetweenthee and the city: and setthy faceagainstit, and it shall bebesieged, and thou shalt lay siegeagainstit. This shall be a signto the houseof Israel. Liethoualso uponthy leftside, and laythe iniquityof the houseof Israeluponit: according to the numberof the daysthatthou shalt lieuponit thou shalt beartheir iniquity. For Ihave laidupon thee the yearsof their iniquity, according to the numberof the days, threehundredand ninetydays: so shalt thou bearthe iniquityof the houseof Israel. And when thou hast accomplishedthem, lieagainonthy rightside, and thou shalt bearthe iniquityof the houseof Judahfortydays: I have appointedthee each day for a year. Therefore thou shalt setthy facetowardthe siegeof Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesyagainstit. And, behold, I will laybandsuponthee, and thou shalt notturnthee from one sidetoanother, tillthou hast endedthe daysof thy siege. Takethoualso unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches, and putthem in onevessel, and makethee breadthereof, according to the numberof the daysthatthoushalt lieuponthy side, threehundredand ninetydaysshalt thou eatthereof. And thy meatwhichthou shalt eat shall be by weight, twentyshekelsa day: from timetotimeshalt thou eatit. Thou shalt drinkalso waterby measure, the sixth partof a hin: from timetotimeshalt thou drink. And thou shalt eatit as barleycakes, and thou shalt bakeitwith dungthat cometh outof man, in their sight. And the LORDsaid, Even thusshall the childrenof Israeleattheir defiledbreadamong the Gentiles, whitherI will drivethem. Then saidI, AhLordGOD! behold, my soulhath notbeen polluted: for from my youthup even tillnowhave I noteatenof that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neithercamethere abominablefleshinto my mouth. Then he saiduntome, Lo, I have giventhee cow's dungforman's dung, and thou shalt preparethy breadtherewith. Moreover he saiduntome, Sonof man, behold, I will breakthe staffof breadin Jerusalem: and they shall eatbreadby weight, and with care; and they shall drinkwaterby measure, and with astonishment: Thatthey may wantbreadand water, and be astonishedonewith another, and consume awayfor their iniquity.
