Forifthourefuseto let them go, and wilt holdthem still, Behold, the handof the LORDisupon thy cattlewhich is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a verygrievousmurrain. And the LORDshall severbetweenthe cattleof Israeland the cattleof Egypt: and there shall nothingdieof all that is the children's of Israel. And the LORDappointeda set time, saying, Tomorrowthe LORDshall dothisthingin the land. And the LORDdidthatthingon the morrow, and allthe cattleof Egyptdied: but of the cattleof the childrenof Israeldiednotone. And Pharaohsent, and, behold, there was notoneof the cattleof the Israelitesdead. And the heartof Pharaohwas hardened, and he did notlet the peoplego. And the LORDsaiduntoMosesand untoAaron, Taketo you handfulsof ashesof the furnace, and let Mosessprinkleit toward the heavenin the sightof Pharaoh. And it shall becomesmall dustinallthe landof Egypt, and shall bea boilbreaking forth with blainsuponman, and uponbeast, throughout allthe landof Egypt. And they tookashesof the furnace, and stoodbeforePharaoh; and Mosessprinkledit up toward heaven; and it becamea boilbreaking forth with blainsupon man, and upon beast. And the magicianscouldnotstandbeforeMosesbecause ofthe boils; forthe boilwasupon the magicians, and upon allthe Egyptians. And the LORDhardenedthe heartof Pharaoh, and he hearkenednotuntothem; asthe LORDhad spokenuntoMoses. And the LORDsaiduntoMoses, Rise up earlyin the morning, and standbeforePharaoh, and sayuntohim, Thussaiththe LORDGodof the Hebrews, Let my peoplego, that they may serveme. ForIwill at thistimesendallmy plaguesuponthine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; thatthou mayest knowthat there is nonelike mein allthe earth. FornowI will stretch outmy hand, that I may smitethee and thy peoplewith pestilence; and thou shalt be cut offfromthe earth. And in very deedforthis cause have I raised thee up, forto show in thee my power; and thatmy namemay be declaredthroughout allthe earth. As yetexaltest thou thyselfagainst my people, that thou wilt notlet them go? Behold, tomorrowabout this timeI will cause it to raina verygrievoushail, suchashath notbeenin Egyptsincethe foundationthereof even untilnow. Sendtherefore now, and gatherthy cattle, and allthatthou hast in the field; for upon everymanand beastwhichshall be foundin the field, and shall notbe broughthome, the hailshall come downuponthem, and they shall die. He that fearedthe wordof the LORDamong the servantsof Pharaohmade his servantsand his cattlefleeintothe houses: And he thatregardednotthe wordof the LORDlefthis servantsand his cattlein the field. And the LORDsaiduntoMoses, Stretch forththine handtowardheaven, that there may behailin allthe landof Egypt, uponman, and uponbeast, and uponeveryherbof the field, throughout the landof Egypt. And Mosesstretched forthhis rodtowardheaven: and the LORDsentthunderand hail, and the fireran alongupon the ground; and the LORDrainedhailuponthe landof Egypt. So there washail, and firemingledwiththe hail, verygrievous, such asthere wasnonelike itin allthe landof Egyptsinceit becamea nation. And the hailsmotethroughout allthe landof Egyptallthat was in the field, both manand beast; and the hailsmoteeveryherbof the field, and brokeeverytreeof the field. Onlyin the landof Goshen, wherethe childrenof Israel were , wasthere nohail. And Pharaohsent, and calledfor Mosesand Aaron, and saiduntothem, I have sinnedthis time: the LORD is righteous, and Iand my people are wicked. Entreatthe LORD(for it is enough) that there be no more mightythunderingsand hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall staynolonger. And Mosessaiduntohim, As soon as I am gone outof the city, I will spread abroadmy handsuntothe LORD; and the thundershall cease, neithershall there beany morehail; thatthou mayest knowhow thatthe earth is the LORD's. But as for theeand thy servants, I knowthatye will not yetfearthe LORDGod. And the flaxand the barleywas smitten: forthe barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled. But the wheatand the ryewere notsmitten: forthey were not grown up. And Moseswent outof the cityfromPharaoh, and spread abroadhis handsuntothe LORD: and the thundersand hailceased, and the rainwas notpouredupon the earth. And when Pharaohsawthatthe rainand the hailand the thunderswere ceased, he sinnedyet more, and hardenedhis heart, heand his servants. And the heartof Pharaohwas hardened, neitherwould he let the childrenof Israelgo; asthe LORDhad spokenbyMoses.
