Blessthe LORD, O my soul. O LORDmy God, thou art verygreat; thou art clothedwith honorand majesty. Who coverest thyself with lightas with a garment: who stretchest outthe heavenslike a curtain: Who layeth the beamsof his chambersin the waters: who makeththe cloudshis chariot: who walkethuponthe wingsof the wind: Who makethhis angelsspirits; his ministersa flamingfire: Who laidthe foundationsof the earth, that it should notbe removedforever. Thou coveredstit with the deepas with a garment: the watersstoodabovethe mountains. Atthy rebukethey fled; atthe voiceof thy thunderthey hasted away. They go upby the mountains; they go downby the valleysuntothe placewhichthou hast foundedfor them. Thou hast seta boundthat they may notpass over; that they turn not againto coverthe earth. He sendeththe springsinto the valleys, which runamongthe hills. They give drinkto everybeastof the field: the wild assesquenchtheir thirst. Bythem shall the fowlsof the heavenhave their habitation, which singamongthe branches. He watereththe hillsfrom his chambers: the earthis satisfiedwith the fruitof thy works. He causeth the grassto growfor the cattle, and herbfor the serviceof man: that he may bring forthfoodout ofthe earth; And wine that maketh gladthe heartof man, and oilto make his faceto shine, and bread which strengthenethman's heart. The treesof the LORDare full of sap ; the cedarsof Lebanon, whichhe hath planted; Wherethe birdsmake their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house. The highhills are a refugefor the wild goats; and the rocksfor the conies. He appointedthe moonfor seasons: the sunknowethhis going down. Thou makestdarkness, and it isnight: wherein allthe beastsof the forestdo creep forth . The young lionsroarafter their prey, and seektheir meatfrom God. The sunariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them downintheir dens. Mangoeth forthunto his workand to his laboruntilthe evening. O LORD, howmanifoldare thy works! in wisdomhast thou madethem all: the earthis fullof thy riches. So is thisgreatand widesea, wherein are things creepinginnumerable, both smallandgreatbeasts. Theregothe ships: there is that leviathan, whom thouhast madeto playtherein. These waitalluponthee; that thou mayest give them their meatin due season. That thou givestthem they gather: thou openestthine hand, they are filledwith good. Thou hidestthy face, they are troubled: thou takest awaytheir breath, they die, and returntotheir dust. Thou sendest forththy spirit, they are created: and thou renewestthe faceof the earth. The gloryof the LORDshall endureforever: the LORDshall rejoicein his works. He lookethon the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheththe hills, and they smoke. I will singunto the LORDas long as I live: I will sing praiseto my Godwhile I have my being. My meditationofhim shall be sweet: Iwill be gladin the LORD. Let the sinnersbe consumedout ofthe earth, and let the wickedbe nomore. Blessthou the LORD, O my soul. Praiseye the LORD.
