A Psalm of David. Blessthe LORD, O my soul: and allthat is withinme, bless his holyname. Blessthe LORD, O my soul, and forgetnotallhis benefits: Who forgivethallthine iniquities; who healethallthy diseases; Who redeemeththy lifefrom destruction; who crowneththee with lovingkindnessand tender mercies; Who satisfieththy mouthwith good things; so that thy youthis renewedlike the eagle's. The LORDexecutethrighteousnessand judgmentfor allthat are oppressed. He made knownhis waysunto Moses, his actsunto the childrenof Israel. The LORD is mercifuland gracious, slowto anger, and plenteousin mercy. He will notalwayschide: neitherwill he keep his anger forever. He hath notdealtwith us after our sins; norrewardedus according to our iniquities. Foras the heavenis highabovethe earth, so greatis his mercytowardthem that fearhim. As faras the eastis from the west, so far hath he removedour transgressionsfromus. Like as a fatherpitieth his children, so the LORDpitieththem that fearhim. Forheknowethour frame; he remembereththatwe are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flowerof the field, sohe flourisheth. Forthe windpassethover it, and it is gone; and the placethereof shall knowit nomore. But the mercyof the LORD is from everlastingtoeverlastinguponthem that fearhim, and his righteousnessunto children's children; To such as keephis covenant, and to those that rememberhis commandmentsto dothem. The LORDhath preparedhis thronein the heavens; and his kingdomrulethover all. Blessthe LORD, ye his angels, that excelin strength, that dohis commandments, hearkeningunto the voiceof his word. Blessye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministersof his, that dohis pleasure. Blessthe LORD, allhis worksin allplacesof his dominion: blessthe LORD, O my soul.
