Howhast thou counseled him that hath nowisdom? and how hast thou plentifullydeclaredthe thingas it is? Towhomhast thou utteredwords? and whosespiritcamefromthee? Dead things are formedfrom underthe waters, and the inhabitantsthereof. Hell is nakedbeforehim, and destructionhath nocovering. He stretcheth outthe northoverthe empty place, and hangeththe earthuponnothing. He bindeth upthe watersin his thick clouds; and the cloudis not rentunderthem. He holdeth backthe faceof his throne, and spreadethhis clouduponit. He hath compassedthe waterswith bounds, untilthe dayand nightcome to an end. The pillarsof heaventrembleand are astonishedat his reproof. He divideththe seawith his power, and by his understandinghe smiteth throughthe proud. By his spirithe hath garnishedthe heavens; his handhath formedthe crookedserpent. Lo, these are partsof his ways: but howlittlea portionis heardof him? but the thunderof his powerwhocan understand?
