Now in the firstyearof Cyruskingof Persia, that the wordof the LORDby the mouthof Jeremiahmight be fulfilled, the LORDstirred upthe spiritof Cyruskingof Persia, that he made a proclamationthroughout allhis kingdom, and put it alsoin writing, saying, ThussaithCyruskingof Persia, The LORDGodof heavenhath givenme allthe kingdomsof the earth; and hehath chargedme to buildhim a houseat Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of allhis people? his Godbewithhim, and let him go upto Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and buildthe houseof the LORDGodof Israel, ( he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem. And whosoeverremainethin anyplacewherehesojourneth, let the menof his placehelphim with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, besidethe freewill offeringfor the houseof Godthat is in Jerusalem. Then rose upthe chiefof the fathersof Judahand Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spiritGodhad raised, to go upto buildthe houseof the LORDwhich is in Jerusalem. And allthey that were aboutthem strengthenedtheir handswith vesselsof silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered. Also Cyrusthe kingbrought forththe vesselsof the houseof the LORD, whichNebuchadnezzarhad brought forthout of Jerusalem, and had putthem in the houseof his gods; Even those did Cyruskingof Persiabring forthbythe handof Mithredaththe treasurer, and numberedthem unto Sheshbazzar, the princeof Judah. And this is the numberof them: thirtychargersof gold, a thousandchargersof silver, nineand twentyknives, Thirtybasinsof gold, silverbasinsof a second sort fourhundredand ten, and othervesselsa thousand. Allthe vesselsof goldand of silver were fivethousandand fourhundred. All these did Sheshbazzarbring upwith them of the captivitythat were brought upfrom Babylonunto Jerusalem.
