And he dealtto every oneof Israel, both manand woman, to every onea loafof bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine . And he appointed certain ofthe Levitesto ministerbeforethe arkof the LORD, and to record, and to thankand praisethe LORDGodof Israel: Asaphthe chief, and nextto him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom: and Jeielwith psalteriesand with harps; but Asaphmade a soundwith cymbals; Benaiahalso and Jahazielthe priestswith trumpetscontinuallybeforethe arkof the covenantof God. Thenon thatdayDaviddeliveredfirst this psalm to thankthe LORDinto the handof Asaphand his brethren. Give thanksunto the LORD, callupon his name, make knownhis deedsamong the people. Singunto him, sing psalmsunto him, talkye of allhis wondrous works. Gloryye in his holyname: let the heartof them rejoicethat seekthe LORD. Seekthe LORDand his strength, seekhis facecontinually. Rememberhis marvelous worksthathe hath done, his wonders, and the judgmentsof his mouth; O ye seedof Israelhis servant, ye childrenof Jacob, his chosen ones. He is the LORDour God; his judgments are in allthe earth. Be ye mindfulalwaysof his covenant; the word which he commandedto a thousandgenerations; Even of the covenant whichhe madewithAbraham, and of his oathunto Isaac; And hath confirmedthe same to Jacobfor a law, and to Israel for an everlastingcovenant, Saying, Unto thee will I givethe landof Canaan, the lotof your inheritance; When ye werebut few, even a few, and strangersin it. And when they wentfrom nationtonation, and from one kingdomtoanotherpeople; He sufferednomanto do them wrong: yea, he reprovedkingsfor their sakes, Saying , Touchnotmine anointed, and domy prophetsnoharm. Singunto the LORD, allthe earth; show forthfrom daytodayhis salvation. Declarehis gloryamong the heathen; his marvelous worksamong allnations. Forgreat is the LORD, and greatlyto be praised: healso is to be fearedaboveallgods. Forallthe godsof the people are idols: but the LORDmadethe heavens. Gloryand honor are in his presence; strengthand gladness are in his place. Giveunto the LORD, ye kindredsof the people, giveunto the LORDgloryand strength. Giveunto the LORDthe glory due unto his name: bringan offering, and comebeforehim: worshipthe LORDin the beautyof holiness. Fearbeforehim, allthe earth: the worldalsoshall be stable, that it be notmoved. Let the heavensbe glad, and let the earthrejoice: and let men sayamong the nations, The LORDreigneth. Let the searoar, and the fullnessthereof: let the fieldsrejoice, and allthat is therein. Thenshall the treesof the woodsing outat the presenceof the LORD, becausehe comethto judgethe earth. O give thanksunto the LORD; for he is good; forhis mercy endureth forever. And sayye, Saveus, O Godof our salvation, and gather us together, and deliverus fromthe heathen, that we may give thanksto thy holyname, and gloryin thy praise. Blessed be the LORDGodof Israelforeverand ever. And allthe peoplesaid, Amen, and praisedthe LORD. So he lefttherebeforethe arkof the covenantof the LORDAsaphand his brethren, to ministerbeforethe arkcontinually, as every day's work required: And Obed-edom with their brethren, threescoreand eight; Obed-edom also the sonof Jeduthunand Hosah to be porters: And Zadokthe priest, and his brethrenthe priests, beforethe tabernacleof the LORDin the high placethat was at Gibeon, To offerburnt offeringsunto the LORDuponthe altarof the burnt offeringcontinuallymorningand evening, and to do according to allthat is writtenin the lawof the LORD, whichhe commandedIsrael; And withthem Hemanand Jeduthun, and the restthat were chosen, whowere expressedby name, to give thanksto the LORD, becausehis mercy endureth forever; And withthem Hemanand Jeduthunwith trumpetsand cymbalsfor those that should make a sound, and with musicalinstrumentsof God. And the sonsof Jeduthun were porters. And allthe peopledepartedevery manto his house: and Davidreturnedto blesshis house.
