Afterthese thingsJesusshowedhimselfagainto thedisciplesattheseaof Tiberias; andon this wiseshowedhe himself. There weretogetherSimonPeter, andThomascalledDidymus, andNathanaelofCanain Galilee, andthe sons of Zebedee, andtwootherofhisdisciples. SimonPetersaithunto them, I goa fishing. They sayunto him, Wealsogowiththee. They went forth, andenteredintoa shipimmediately: andthatnightthey caughtnothing. Butwhen the morningwas nowcome, Jesusstoodontheshore: butthedisciplesknewnotthatit wasJesus. ThenJesussaithunto them, Children, have ye any meat? Theyansweredhim, No. Andhesaidunto them, Castthenetontherightside of theship, and ye shall find. Theycasttherefore, andnowthey were not ableto drawitforthemultitudeof fishes. ThereforethatdisciplewhomJesuslovedsaithunto Peter, It istheLord. Nowwhen SimonPeterheardthatit wastheLord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, ( forhe wasnaked,) anddid casthimselfintothesea. Andtheotherdisciplescamein a little ship; ( forthey werenotfarfromland, butas it weretwohundredcubits,) draggingthenetwith fishes. As soon then asthey were cometoland, they sawa fire of coalsthere, andfishlaid thereon, andbread. Jesussaithunto them, Bringofthefishwhich ye have nowcaught. SimonPeterwent up, anddrewthenettolandfullof greatfishes, a hundred and fifty and three: andfor all there wereso many, yet was notthenetbroken. Jesussaithunto them, Come and dine. Andnoneof thedisciplesdurstaskhim, Whoartthou? knowingthatit wastheLord. Jesusthencometh, andtakethbread, andgiveththem, andfishlikewise. Thisis nowthe third timethat Jesusshowedhimself to hisdisciples, after that he was risenfromthe dead. Sowhenthey had dined, Jesussaithto SimonPeter, Simon, son of Jona, lovest thou memore than these? Hesaithunto him, Yea, Lord; thouknowestthatI lovethee. He saithunto him, Feedmylambs. He saithto himagainthe second time, Simon, son of Jona, lovest thou me? Hesaithunto him, Yea, Lord; thouknowestthatI lovethee. He saithunto him, Feedmysheep. He saithunto himthethird time, Simon, son of Jona, lovest thou me? Peterwas grievedbecausehe saidunto himthethird time, Lovestthou me? Andhe saidunto him, Lord, thouknowestall things; thouknowestthatI lovethee. Jesussaithunto him, Feedmysheep. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wastyoung, thou girdedstthyself, andwalkedstwhither thou wouldest: butwhen thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forththyhands, andanother shall girdthee, andcarry thee whither thou wouldestnot. Thisspakehe, signifyingby whatdeathhe should glorifyGod. Andwhen he had spokenthis, he saithunto him, Followme. ThenPeter, turning about, seeththedisciplewhomJesuslovedfollowing; whichalsoleanedonhisbreastatsupper, andsaid, Lord, whichishe that betrayeththee? Peterseeinghimsaithto Jesus, Lord, andwhat shall this man do ? Jesussaithunto him, If I will that hetarrytill I come, what is that tothee? followthoume. Thenwent this saying abroadamongthebrethren, thatthatdiscipleshould notdie: yetJesussaidnotunto him, He shallnotdie; but, IfI willthat hetarrytillI come, what is that tothee? Thisisthedisciplewhich testifiethofthese things, andwrotethese things: andwe knowthathistestimonyistrue. Andthere arealsomanyother thingswhichJesusdid, the which, ifthey should be writtenevery one, I supposethat even theworlditselfcould notcontainthebooksthat should be written. Amen.
