A Psalmof Asaph. The mightyGod, even the LORD, hath spoken, and calledthe earthfrom the risingof the sununtothe going downthereof. Out of Zion, the perfectionof beauty, Godhath shined. Our Godshall come, and shall notkeep silence: a fireshall devourbeforehim, and it shall be verytempestuousround abouthim. He shall calltothe heavensfrom above, and tothe earth, that he may judgehis people. Gather my saints togetherunto me; those that have madea covenantwith me bysacrifice. And the heavensshall declarehis righteousness: forGod is judgehimself. Selah. Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testifyagainst thee: I am God, even thy God. I will notreprovethee forthy sacrificesor thy burnt offerings, to have been continuallybeforeme. I will takenobullockout of thy house, nor he goatsout of thy folds. Foreverybeastof the forest is mine, and the cattleupon a thousandhills. I knowallthe fowlsof the mountains: and the wild beastsof the field are mine. IfI were hungry, I would nottellthee: forthe world is mine, and the fullnessthereof. Will I eatthe fleshof bulls, or drinkthe bloodof goats? Offerunto Godthanksgiving; and paythy vowsunto the most High: And call uponme in the dayof trouble: I will deliverthee, and thou shalt glorifyme. But unto the wickedGodsaith, Whathast thou to do to declaremy statutes, or that thou shouldest takemy covenantinthy mouth? Seeing thouhatestinstruction, and castestmy wordsbehindthee. Whenthou sawesta thief, then thou consentedstwithhim, and hast been partakerwithadulterers. Thou givestthy mouthto evil, and thy tongueframethdeceit. Thou sittest and speakestagainst thy brother; thou slanderestthine own mother's son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtestthat I wasaltogether such a one as thyself: but I will reprovethee, and set them in orderbefore thine eyes. Nowconsiderthis, ye that forgetGod, lestI tear you in pieces, and there be noneto deliver. Whoso offerethpraiseglorifiethme: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I showthe salvationof God.
