Whenhewas come downfromthemountain, greatmultitudesfollowedhim. And, behold, there camea leperand worshipedhim, saying, Lord, ifthou wilt, thou canstmake me clean. AndJesusput forth his hand, and touchedhim, saying, I will; be thou clean. Andimmediatelyhisleprosywas cleansed. AndJesussaithunto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, showthyself to thepriest, andofferthegiftthatMosescommanded, for a testimony unto them. Andwhen Jesuswas enteredintoCapernaum, there cameunto hima centurion, beseechinghim, Andsaying, Lord, myservantliethathomesick of the palsy, grievouslytormented. AndJesussaithunto him, I will come and healhim. Thecenturionansweredand said, Lord, I amnotworthythatthou shouldest comeundermyroof: butspeakthe wordonly, andmyservantshall be healed. ForIam amanunderauthority, havingsoldiersunderme: andI sayto this man, Go, andhe goeth; andto another, Come, andhe cometh; andto myservant, Dothis, andhe doeth it. WhenJesusheard it, he marveled, andsaidto them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so greatfaith, no, notinIsrael. And I say unto you, Thatmany shall comefrom the eastandwest, and shall sit downwithAbraham, andIsaac, andJacob, inthekingdom of heaven. Butthechildren of thekingdom shall be cast outintoouterdarkness: there shall beweepingandgnashing of teeth. AndJesussaidunto thecenturion, Go thy way; andas thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. Andhisservantwas healedinthe selfsamehour. Andwhen Jesuswas comeintoPeter's house, he sawhiswife's motherlaid, andsick of a fever. Andhe touchedherhand, andthefeverlefther: andshe arose, andministeredunto them. Whenthe evenwas come, they broughtunto himmanythat were possessed with devils: andhe cast outthespiritswith his word, andhealedallthat were sick: Thatit might be fulfilledwhich was spokenbyIsaiahtheprophet, saying, Himselftookourinfirmities, andbare our sicknesses. Nowwhen Jesussawgreatmultitudesabouthim, he gave commandmentto departuntotheother side. Anda certainscribecame, and saidunto him, Master, I will followtheewhithersoeverthou goest. AndJesussaithunto him, Thefoxeshaveholes, andthebirds of theair have nests; buttheSon of manhathnotwhere to lay his head. Andanotherof hisdisciplessaidunto him, Lord, suffermefirstto goandburymyfather. ButJesussaidunto him, Followme; andletthedeadburytheirdead. Andwhen hewas enteredintoa ship, hisdisciplesfollowedhim, And, behold, there arosea greattempestinthesea, insomuch thattheshipwas coveredwiththewaves: buthewas asleep. Andhisdisciplescameto him and awokehim, saying, Lord, saveus: we perish. Andhe saithunto them, Whyare ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Thenhe arose, and rebukedthewindsandthesea; andthere wasa greatcalm. Butthemenmarveled, saying, What manner of manisthis, thateventhewindsandtheseaobeyhim! Andwhen hewas cometotheother sideintothecountryof theGergesenes, there methimtwopossessed with devils, comingoutof thetombs, exceedingfierce, so thatnomanmightpassbythatway. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Sonof God? art thou comehitherto tormentusbeforethe time? Andthere wasa good way offfromtheman herdof manyswinefeeding. Sothedevilsbesoughthim, saying, Ifthou cast us out, sufferusto go awayintotheherdof swine. Andhe saidunto them, Go. Andwhen they were come out, they wentintotheherdof swine: and, behold, thewholeherdof swineran violentlydowna steep placeintothesea, andperishedinthewaters. Andthey that keptthem fled, andwent their waysintothecity, andtoldevery thing, andwhat was befallento thepossessed of the devils. And, behold, thewholecitycame outto meetJesus: andwhen they sawhim, they besought him thathe would departout oftheircoasts.
