A Psalm of David. Untothee will I cry, O LORDmy rock; be notsilenttome: lest, if thou be silenttome, I become likethem that go downinto the pit. Hearthe voiceof my supplications, when I cryuntothee, when I lift upmy handstowardthy holyoracle. Drawme notaway withthe wicked, and withthe workersof iniquity, which speakpeacetotheir neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts. Givethem according to their deeds, and according to the wickednessof their endeavors: givethem after the workof their hands; renderto them their desert. Becausethey regardnotthe worksof the LORD, nor the operationof his hands, he shall destroythem, and notbuild them up. Blessed be the LORD, becausehe hath heardthe voiceof my supplications. The LORD is my strengthand my shield; my hearttrustedin him, and I am helped: therefore my heartgreatly rejoiceth; and with my songwill I praisehim. The LORD is their strength, and he is the savingstrengthof his anointed. Savethy people, and blessthine inheritance: feedthem also, and lift them upforever.
